Birthday Alert (Patreon)

🎂 🥳  ⚠️ 📢 BIRTHDAY ALERT ⚠️  🎂 🥳 🎉 🎈 🎁 A very Happy Birthday to my character Quatre Evans born April 4th, 1984! This wonderful (no longer so) young (as he was when we started) man was one of the 1st characters ever created for my Lair Chronicles series and I fondly celebrate him every year on this day!📖 👀 Have an excerpt from the 2nd book in the series titled "The Secret":

“Surprise! Happy Birthday!” everyone chorused in unison.

Quatre didn’t say anything for a moment as he comprehended what was going on. His head started to shake back and forth slowly as he stared at his friends’ faces and took in the decorations once more. His mouth opened to say something but nothing came out. Shimi’s hand on his arm brought him back to reality.

“Happy birthday, Quatre!” she murmured with a smile.

He stared at her for a moment with his mouth slightly open; the ends almost curving into a smile. He turned his head back to his friends again and let out an exclaimed sigh of surprise and disbelief.

“You guys,” he began, finally finding his voice, “I…” he breathed in and out and let out a short chuckle, “Thank you!” he declared with his eyebrows pulled together in astonishment.

“This is really all for me?” he asked, stepping forward to thank his friends with hugs.
