What did I work on? Beauty and the Brit

How much time was allotted: Actually don't really remember oop. Monday's was around 45 minutes and was interrupted a few times by my niece so I'd estimate only a half hour of focussed work.

Thoughts and Feelings: I felt bad for not doing anything the previous weeks. So, I did a writing sprint with a friend Monday night and got 815 words. Then, devoted myself to go on and write on Wednesday also, coming up with 240 words. My number was low because of rereading part of the story for clarification that the transitions and information was indeed within the previous chapter(s). And, I did some sorting and research for my picture prompts for the galas that the two will be attending. Need to make sure I've got it sorted: where they're at, what they're wearing, no duplicate outfits accidentally written in XD

What was written:

The Monday night stuff will be given to you eventually as a treat/foreshadowing of spoilers to come but I'll give you Wednesday's now:

“Are you sure you’re not going to be too tired?” Derick pressed. They had another upcoming dinner and he was still concerned that it was all too much after being out so late the night before at Banqueting House.

She reached across the distance between him and took his hand with a squeeze. “It’s fine. It’s not like we’re out and about all day today. It’s already noon and we haven’t done anything except sleep in a bit and play some cards before lunch here. It’s more than fine. Besides, eating dinner in The National Gallery where I was just last week is super cool. I mean, it’s an art gallery and to sit down and eat something at a table there baffles me. I want to just for the experience of saying I ate a plate of food looking at a Van Gogh or something,” she chuckled.

“It probably won’t be the Van Gogh,” he announced regretfully as he squeezed her hand.

“No? Well…” She playfully trailed off as though his declaration had started to change her mind, “Naw I think I still want to go!”

He laughed and gave a nod to settle the matter.

They finished lunch (which they were taking out on his terrace) and brainstormed on what to do until they needed to get ready.

That's it for now! Enjoy the newest full-length chapter on Wednesday!

Love, Britt xoxo
