one thing about me - I love an episode centered around some kind of dance!! they always slap so hard and are full of dramaaaaa. I'm looking at you Degrassi 🤣 I'm getting pretty paranoid about haley and Nathan's relationship and the way that Chris seems to be playing around with how much control he can wield over Haley's life. I don't like it oneeeee bit 🤨

This is one of the strong episodes of season 2 for sure. Cant wait for season 3 its the season the show goes from good/great to amazing the acting and writing goes nuts something to look forward to :P

Nathan sending the carriage away made me cry. I hate it when he and Haley fight. It’s like watching my parents fight… they’re like the best and my favorite couple on the show ☹️ Seriously, though. I wish she gave him a proper answer instead of what she said there because that is clearly not addressing it but rather deflecting from it. Something like that can build up so fast and explode if you’re not honest about it 😐 Like you KNOW how much I love our girl Haley, but she was clearly so wrong for this 😭 (I love that she wants to make a career out of her music, but she doesn’t have to go about it this way, you know?)

Peyton made me so emotional in this episode (iykyk). I relate a lot to her with that in mind. Her moment with Karen is just so underrated. She was seriously going through it 🥺🤧 (Hilarie killed it with her breakdown scene in the bathroom tho!! She’s so good)

Hilarie's acting has been really knocking it out of the park since episode 1. they've all been doing an incredible job but I do think that Peyton is maybe one of the harder if not the hardest character to play well on this show be she is truly so sensitive but also has such a guard up and really has a habit of putting others first (of course we have seen her selfish moments as well and while BAD, they are few and far between). she does a lot of quiet/silent struggling and pushing things down but Hilarie does a fantastic job of portraying all of that!

Such a good episode! I think we're hitting a nice stride here now that the new characters are more intertwined with everybody's lives and no longer feel *entirely* new Brooke walking away from all of what she learned at the formal and feeling like men aren't trustworthy makes so much sense. I can't think of a single guy she's been close with that hasn't hurt her in some way. Not to mention from what we know about her parents, her father doesn't exactly seem like a healthy source of "Men can be good" either. And realistically, we gotta be honest--it's the safest outlook on life to know that men are trash. And I say that as a gay man who has had his fair share of Brooke Davis moments with various men I have so much to say about the rest of what happened here but I think I will probably save those thoughts for the future since they're a bit incomplete at the moment All I will say is that everybody looked SO good this episode. And yet, it still felt very down-to-earth. Like, it's not Heartbreak High where it takes A LOT of effort and creativity to look as good as that cast does (which is a huge compliment since I am so jealous of everybody's style on that show). But everybody at the dance looked so much like if you saw a look that you enjoyed, you could very easily duplicate it for yourself. And the fashion reminded me so much of when I went to school (I graduated in 2010). Very much a product of its time with a hint of nostalgia for me lol Looking forward to more! I always get so happy seeing you post another video haha. I know I can spend an hour or two that day just reliving my favorite shows vicariously through you!

this episode is goldennnnn !!! one of favorites from season two!! the reveal of nathan with the carriage is SO devestating like holy crap. shoot me! i also love love love brooke's scenes curing the formal, her speech to felix is so great (mainly cause he's the worst person ever), the moment with mouth, and the scene of brooke and lucas on the beach. god, just so delicious

It's kind of crazy that Nathan didn't take 3 minutes to listen to Haley's song before giving it to be played at the dance. Haley told him it isn't ready and he only listened to the first 15 seconds of her vocals and a looped guitar melody. This could've easily been a track of her just messing around trying things out instead of a full song, it's actually lucky that the worst thing about it was that Chris is on it.

Everyone looked so beautiful. But my goodness the drama! Go Brooke I love when she tells Felix off! Queen!! I just want to hug Peyton so bad. Thank you Karen!! That like that Nathan says “not as much as it hurts me” always makes me wanna cry. He is a king and he just is the sweetest. I hate when mom and dad fight. Love your reactions. Thank so much. OTH got me through some tough times and I love watching and you make it so much fun like I’m watching it for the first time again. 🙌
