Rory is such a fascinating character to me. Do I always agree with her decisions? No, definitely not. But like...looking back on the five seasons and before the show even started of who her character is, how she was raised, and how everybody around her treated her--this makes sense to me Whenever she's met with anybody telling her that she's not good enough or that she herself isn't enough, she crumbles. She grew up with everybody treating her like a prodigy and when she's met with pushback from people she respects and/or cares about, it's shattering for her. It's usually met with a manic/frantic breakdown but this is more than just catching up on school or taking a particular test--this is her future that she's been envisioning her entire life In this case, she was told by somebody she thought very highly of professionally that her entire career path that she's been working towards isn't something she'll be good at. Whether it's true or not isn't really the point so much as how others in that position of power view her Idk, she's one of my favorite characters to hyper-analyze over the years. I find her more and more interesting with each rewatch

Luna

NO OH GOD YOU’RE NOT READY FOR NEXT SEASON AND NEITHER AM I FOR HOW YOU WILL FEEL ABOUT IT 😭

Luvcurls

A lot of people hate that Rory drops out but I actually find it to be an interesting choice because it something you wouldn’t expect from her. Oh you’re reaction to next season is going to be so crazy.

Luna

I’ve been both excited and nervous for your reaction to these episodes because there’s so much going on emotionally. I honestly think both Rory and Lorelai were wrong in their fight. The thing is, Rory absolutely shouldn’t have stolen a yacht or let one man’s opinion completely destroy her confidence. But the sad reality is that she was praised her entire life and never really taught how to handle rejection, criticism, or failure. Lorelai, Richard, Emily, and even Stars Hollow constantly treated her like she could do no wrong or get whatever she wants in life, so it’s not surprising that she completely spiraled once her identity was challenged (or even threatened) by an outsider.  I also think Rory’s burnout played a huge role here. She’d been overachieving for so many years (maybe even her whole life), and everything finally exploded at once. What makes the situation even sadder is that Lorelai unintentionally put a lot of pressure on Rory too, especially with the Harvard dream. In some ways, she’s more like her parents than she realizes, so I think Rory choosing Yale back then was one of the few decisions she made completely for herself because Harvard was definitely what Lorelai wanted more. (If you really think about it, what did 6-year-old wants to go to Harvard to become an overseas correspondent? 👀 Lorelai projected so much onto Rory and was clearly vicariously living through her because she couldn’t do it herself given the pregnancy.)  Anyway, I feel like once Rory realized that Lorelai wasn’t going to support her on this, she turned to the only family members she had left so they could help her survive one of her lowest moments. She clearly felt scared and confused after feeling like she lost the one consistent parental figure in her life, so that’s where I ultimately think that Lorelai should’ve at least tried to consider letting her take the time off because she couldn’t go to school while her mental health wasn’t in the right place (instead of walking away from the conversation and leaving things unresolved). I feel so bad for Lorelai too because this is clearly the moment where she feels like she failed as a parent and watches Rory drift toward the life she always wanted to protect her from. They were both hurt, overwhelmed, and unequipped to handle the situation properly, which is why their fallout feels so realistic and complicated to me. Lastly, this is obviously Richard and Emily’s fault because they took advantage of the situation the way they always do. They were more at fault than Rory and Lorelai, who are both clearly products of them.

Luna

LORELAI ASKED LUKE TO MARRY HIM OH MY GOD I WAS LEFT SPEECHLESS WITH THAT (imagine the way people had to wait all those months back then to figure out what happens next lol I would’ve been so pissed… but I will admit that I couldn’t enjoy it my first time around because of what happened with the Gilmores 😭)

sandrinegeller

Yeah people try to blame Logan for Rory making bad decisions but he had nothing to do with her choices. Like yeah he shouldn't have stolen the boat with her but we already know right now he is still immature and spoiled but is working through that. But Rory is the one who was told something bad for the first time in her life and decided to make her own bad choices. But it is such an interesting journey so i kind of love it as much as it is super dumb to me

Yasemin

The more you (re-) watch this show, the more it's possible to see where every single character is coming from. Won't spoil anything though.

Yasemin

I do not see it as Richard and Emily "screwing Lorelai over" in this case, it is not black and white, I can see where they are coming from after Rory went over to see her grandparents, and with Lorelai saying that coming home to Stars Hollow was not an option. The way they communicated this, as in "we have come to a decision" wasn't great (and yes, it's not their child), but the content...let's just say I can see their perspective, also, especially after countless rewatches.

Yasemin

I can also see why Rory might be dropping out (or taking a break) at this point, but the next season is around the corner, and I cannot wait! :) Thank you Ryann for the double upload.

Lynsey

I think Rory manipulated the whole situation, when she saw that Lorelai was not going to be on her side she decided she would get what she needed from her grandparents instead. The use of manipulation has been passed down in their family from mother to daughter, Emily, Lorelai and Rory have all done it in the show at one time or another to get what they want

Karolina Hołub

I'm sorry but this is Lorelai fault... I mean, Emily and Richard didn't handle it right and it was unfair to Lorelai to promise her one thing instead of the other. However, Lorelai didn't support Rory like she should in my opinion. Rory didnt's said he is dropping out, she is taking a break. This is smart if you have doubts, taking a year of is something I didn't do because i felt pressure to go to college by my mom and i regret it to this day because i finish study that are nothing to me know. I think it's very understandable that it got to Rory so much. Of course, she shouldnt take it as a only important voice, but as a girl that always was called perfect and could do anything wrong... not suprising that something like that broken her down. She is super young and there is nothing wrong with rethinking everything. The way Lorelai cut this off is not helping, she is also not any voice of reason for Rory because Rory KNOWS her mother is having this perfect impossible to meet picture of her. You can even see it with the boat situation, she is sure from the start someone had to make her do it. It was the same with Jess and the car. Lorelai is never able to accept that Rory is imperfect, so yeah, when she says that opinion of one guy doesn't matter because you are amazing, this is not really any argument. I think telling her, you cannot go back home to figure things out... she had right to do it, but it was not okay. I really hate Lorelai choices in this episode (and no spoiler but going forward she is still not my favorite character). Even tho normally i love Lorelai to be clear!! I just feel bad for Rory and I think what she is going throuh right now is soo relatable for so many people. I love this storyline and I think it's overhated.

Karolina Hołub

And I think Lorelai accidently shows her own issue there... saying that she was supposed to be better than me. That's her whole thing. She never had to pressure Rory to follow this "better" path, but as soon she is stepping out of it, she cannot handle it. She is putting her own unfullfiled ambition on Rory while Rory is in crisis. This is not supportive, it is not what Rory needs right now.

Karolina Hołub

I have one more comment 😅 It is kinda similar theme like when you have kid that is super good at one sport and at the start this kid loves it, so you as a parent invest and put soo much into that with them. And then one day they don't want to do it anymore. It is super hard but you got to respect that. I know in this case Lorelai is like, it is for wrong reasons and I am pretty sure that is a logic of every parent in that situation... they sure they know better, that the kid doesn't have a bigger picture. But in the end of the day, this is their decision and by cutting them off when they do it differently than you think they should, I think you make them feel lonely and like all their value is only in that thing. I mean, it must be, if your parent is treating it like a condidion of their love and support? Of course I know this is not fully like Lorelai thinks, but this is how it can come across to the young girl that is already lost, overwhelmed and hurt. Suddenly one person that ALWAYS had you back set that condition.

cruzinbosco

THIS!!!! All of this! I recently saw someone ask on Threads who the villain of Gilmore Girls is and the best answer I saw was "generational trauma". It really is the definition of this show. Because while Emily and Richard's parenting choices (always telling Lorelai she was doing wrong) led to Lorelai's rebellion, it also led to Lorelai parenting Rory in a way that she overcompensated making sure Rory always felt she was perfect, which backfired and led to this. And I could say so much more but I'll wait until the end of the series for that but ugh, it just hurts to watch. I don't know if I truly blame any character here because I think they all are truly only doing what they think is best (or in Rory's case, what she can handle right now), but it's a mess! Also, I am so not ready for the next season. Nope. 😂

Luna

YES YES YES I’m so glad to see someone who also sees how deep the generational trauma and projection goes. In my opinion, Lorelai went too far with raising Rory as her best friend/sister more than an actual daughter. She needed to be more balanced. Rory was constantly praised by everyone (especially them), so they didn’t prepare her for rejection, criticism, and failure. I’m so glad we’re on the same side and see it for what it is lol

Luna

I’m not ready for the next season either lol crazy times are ahead 😅

cruzinbosco

When it comes to the whole Mitchum thing, I honestly think he was right. I used to hate him for saying that to Rory, and you are totally correct that he should have actually read her articles before giving that evaluation. However, in the long run, if Rory were really cut out for journalism, I think she would have spoken up like he mentioned. Paris would have. She would never let a career opportunity slip by. I don't see that same drive in Rory; I feel like she only does what is asked of her and what she knows she can accomplish without pushback. While she does that exceptionally well, it's just not enough for the job she wants. Reporters are pushers; their entire goal is to push for the truth and for information. I'm not saying Rory *can't* do it, but I don't feel she really wants it as much as she believes she does (or did at this point). Rory is someone who is comfortable with the status quo, clings to normalcy, and usually doesn't go for things unless someone pushes her; or if there's an alternative incentive, like pissing off Paris 😂 (I am exactly the same). I even remember a past episode where Rory didn't want to give a speech because she didn't 'have to,' and Lorelai actually had to talk her into doing it. LORELAI: You had to give your vice presidential acceptance speech in front of the entire school. RORY: Yeah, but I *had* to do that. LORELAI: Oh, so you're just gonna go through life only doing what you *have* to do. RORY: Well, no. LORELAI: Because a person who wants to be a foreign correspondent for a living should probably embrace the opportunity to practice her speechin' skills in front of a crowd.

Nana

Even if Richard and Emily backed up Lorelai on trying to force Rory to not drop out of Yale, I don't think it would have worked as Rory is stubborn and dead set on her decision. All they really did was offer Rory a place to stay, I don't think it's their fault they're just weak in front of Rory when she comes running to them in tears lol. Season 6 will be something! can't wait for your reaction!

Lindsey Metcalfe

Rory overreacted to MItchum's criticism for sure, but I can also see why. As we've seen throughout the show, the people around her tend to treat her with kid gloves and give her the benefit of the doubt way too much, so she's not used to negative feedback (remember that time she got a D on an essay from Mr Medina?), and having someone very high up in the industry you aspire to be in tell you you aren't gonna get your dream that you've been working toward since you were 7 is going to feel like a massive deal even if it's totally unfounded. PLUS, Rory would have felt added pressure to make a good impression at the internship because this is also her boyfriend's dad, who she probably wants to impress. He's the only 'adult' in the family that's even giving her a chance being a "working woman" who may potentially be entering the family, so she would want him to see that she could be an asset to them in the family industry to offset the fact that she wouldn't be the stay-at-home wife that Logan's mom is and that his mom and grandfather clearly want Logan to marry. TBH I low-key hate how some people write her off as being obnoxious for making dumb decisions or overreacting or makes mistakes when the girl is literally 21. Who DOESN'T make dumb decisions and overreact and make mistakes when we're that young? The rational, good-decision-making part of our brains literally isn't fully formed yet.

Ryann Rodkey

no absolutely! I do think she's very weak minded in that sense. like you said she's grown up being praised 100% of the time and seen as this perfect being who can do no wrong and being told otherwise literally breaks her! I think I'm a bit harder on her than maybe I should be at times but I think I really see myself in her in the earlier seasons on not wanting to fail or being a people pleaser. I wasn't showered with the praise that she was but I absolutely felt and still feel the burden of being 'the reliable one', 'the one who never does anything wrong', 'the perfect one who will always make the right choice', so I think when I see her making bad decisions and/or giving up won certain things it just makes me disappointed. that's my own thing to work through I think 🤣

Ryann Rodkey

totally! I was shocked bc that seems like the least Rory thing ever!

Ryann Rodkey

100% totally agree on all of this and you're spot on!! I also FULLY support taking a break from college if it's needed or you aren't sure what you want to do. where my issue is and what I think Lorelai's issue was, or how I viewed her feelings anyway, is that I think it's stupid to drop out of school and change your entire career plan based off of what one person told you. I think it would be a completely different situation if this hadn't happened and she had decided that she changed her mind and didn't actually want to do that but wasn't sure yet what she wanted to change to. totally fine and I think lorelai would've been fine and supportive of that as well. or even if she said she was mentally exhausted and really needed a break. I think lorelai would've been fine with that too. it just seems like she's completely running her life and stopping school bc of what Mitchum said to her so I understood lorelai pushing back on that and trying to use it as a way to make her stronger in that moment instead of just giving up!

Ryann Rodkey

it's wild to me that that was the LEAST crazy part of the episode 🤣 and I agree. I had so many feelings going on that I feel like my excitement/anxiousness about that proposal was heavily delayed 🤣

Ryann Rodkey

I totally agree! Logan absolutely should've said we aren't doing that. but I also don't think he's ever had real consequences to stuff like that so I see how it wouldn't be a big deal to him, but that was all Rory's idea/plan 🤣

Denise McClymont

Maybe it's just me but I think Lorelei was too harsh on Rory wanting to take a break from yale , yes Rory shouldn't let mitchems opinion control her but she needed time and space from yale and school and than revisit the idea of going back to school but Lorelei didn't want to even entertain the idea of Rory not being in school

Ryann Rodkey

that's fair. I do see it as they royally screwed her over. they had an entire plan to talk it out that night and completely flipped it bc Rory came over and cried to them. they very easily could've comforted her without doing everything they did/making all those plans/decisions without lorelai present. they all could've continued to have a discussion that night and maybe would've come to some kind of agreement like that together. it's very easy to give excuses on why you did what you did or made the decision you made and justify it but it should've never happened. I understand what they are saying but I think when they saw an opportunity to be saviors and be the good guys, they jumped at the chance, and in doing so made the situation worse between Rory and Lorelai. I think there is a lot of grey area where they both were wrong and I think in them giving her everything they did, the perpetuated the patting her on the back and telling her she's always right and making the best decisions/excusing the behavior. maybe that will change in the next season, seeing them all living together but right now, that's what it looks like to me. 🩶

Ryann Rodkey

I agree that taking a break is fine if you decide mentally you need it or that you changed your mind on what you want to do and what not- totally fine! I just saw it as she was stopping bc Mitchum told her she couldn't do it, so i understand lorelai pushing back on that. if I had a child who was in college come to me and tell me that they were quitting directly after some guy told them they couldn't do it, I would also heavily push back on that. I think if she said that's totally fine, come home and regroup, would just continue the behavior of coddling her.

Ryann Rodkey

I totally agree with that. I think her feelings were hurt and she thought lorelai would continue to coddle her and let her come home and when lorelai pushed back she knew that Richard and Emily wouldn't be able to help themselves by swooping in to save her and coddle her bc lorelai wasn't!

Luna

Oh I agree so much!! But I think the point I was trying to make is that Rory wanted to take a break to figure things out because she didn't want to be undecided or confused or just float around without an end goal, so it would also feel like a waste of time and money. When she's more focused, she'll get back into it with a clearer head and make use of the tuition stuff. I just wish Lorelai didn't walk away from the conversation because she tends to avoid things when they get too real, but I am with her on how she shouldn't let what Mitchum said get to her, but Lorelai brought it upon herself when she didn't prepare Rory that she would one day hear some things that she might not like. It would also mean her parents won, you know? It's such a messy and complex situation, and honestly? I see so much of myself in Rory. I almost quit college once, even if I knew what I wanted, but I was so tired in general and felt like taking a break, but I'm so glad I didn't. Still, Rory is a deeply relatable character to me, so I get insanely protective of her sometimes (that doesn't mean I condone what she does sometimes, of course 😅), and characters like her teach us not to follow them down that path if we ever find ourselves in a similar situation. She's too real sometimes, and the fandom needs to wake up and see it for what it really is. Media literacy is literally dying nowadays, and I find it hard to have nuanced conversations, especially when it comes to this show and this particular storyline 😬 (I'm so glad you're one of the sensible ones lol I love your content so much bestie 🤍🤍)

Ryann Rodkey

I totally get what you're saying and see where you're coming from but I do disagree. I think it is 100000000% okay to take a break from college if you are second guessing things. or if you're mentally exhausted. in this situation though she's literally taking a break bc Mitchum told her she wasn't cut out to be a journalist and she's giving up immediately bc of that. we've never once seen her waver on/or question what she wants to do until Mitchum said that. I think it's important to make sure your child doesn't give up at the first bump in the road bc that's literally what this is. one person said it won't work and she's immediately throwing in the towel. I do think it stems from her being told she's perfect her whole life so I agree with that being not great parenting. she wasn't ever given any opportunity to really build any kind of skin. anyway, she's seemingly been thriving at the paper and at school so to throw that away based on Mitchum is insane and I do think that lorelai was right to push back on that.

Ryann Rodkey

and I totally agree with that! we have seen her push a bit though when she's interested in things. like look at her whole life and death brigade thing. I do think Paris is more cut out for it though but I think Rory could've gotten there. she seems to be a great writer so she has that down. and I also think if she was changing her mind based off of really thinking that she wasn't cut out for it, that's totally fine. it just seems like she's only thinking about changing course because of Mitchum which I don't like!

Ryann Rodkey

ahhh thanks so much!! I love having respectful conversations about the shows and stuff so much!! it helps to see other perspectives, even if it doesn't change my mind on how I feel ya know?

Ryann Rodkey

true! I think if Rory more clearly stated it or gave it a small amount of time after this all happened, maybe it would feel less like it was happening BECAUSE of Mitchum and more bc she was changing her mind!

Luna

absolutely!! I’m pretty set in my opinions too lmao. sometimes I can be stubborn because I know I’m approaching things with a nuance that not everyone considers, but I hope it never comes across as condescending because to me it’s less about superiority and more about how deeply you understand something based on the actual content/facts given. I just tend to approach things from both a psychological and narrative angle (since those are kind of my areas as you know, being both an English and Psychology major) and from genuine emotional attachment to the thing I’m watching, so I end up processing it pretty intensely sometimes 😭

Ryann Rodkey

I've never gotten a condescending vibe from you at all! no worries! 🩶

Yasemin

Fair enough, it would definitely have been way better to involve Lorelai earlier in this scenario and not make it sound like a decision concerning her kid was made behind her back. There is just a lot of trauma in this family, and I can see how Richard and Emily would embrace the chance to "care for Rory", not as a way of getting back at Lorelai, but rather as some sort of healing their wounds re. losing their daughter when she was just a teenager. Also, there could have been some sort of middle ground between making Rory just chill at home/do nothing and saying "you absolutely cannot come home"; I think Lorelai could have handled that better also, only she couldn't in that moment, and that's fair, too.

Yasemin

Yes, I can see that, however, to Rory, it's not just "some guy" who said that, but the absolute authority in that field whom she's looking up to etc...and maybe, just maybe, she could also be questioning her own motivation, even if it's what she seems to have wanted all her life....her giving up so easily (at least for now) can also be seen as her own doubt as to whether the dream of becoming a journalist is/was truly hers at this point. Maybe it all ended up being a trigger for some confusion she wasn't aware of earlier.

Yasemin

Your reaction to the proposal is pure joy. :) "I can hear the bells" LOL...What a finale, right!

Karolina Hołub

I fully agree if this was permament decision, but taking a break is not dropping out, so its less harm in that. I don't like argument "you will lose momentum" because in my opinion, reason that you don't go back to college in that situation is that you saw world outside of it and decide it is not something you want anymore. So in my opinion, there is no harm with taking a break, even when the motivation is not perfect. And to be honest just from practical sense... Lorelai should know that giving a hard no and going against someone Rory age doesn't make sense. Not letting her go home is what is bothering me that much tbh, because why in this hard moment you push her away from yourself. I know Lorelai is making argument that if Richard and Emily would not take her than she would have no choice but... no, she would find a choice. She would probably go to Logan and distance herself even more. Tbh I feel like if Lorelai react differently she could even convince Rory during the summer to change her mind, because Rory is clearly now making decision under the moment. But now it will make her go even more stubborn because Lorelai lost connection to her. I just feel like no parent should say you cannot go back home, unless situation is super toxic of course. But i know this is very dependent on a approach to parenting etc, so i respect everyone have different view on that. I am also from Poland I feel like we have different culture here for that things that america 😅 Also that being said - no one is a perfect parent and when you care you don't always think clearly. This is making Lorelai more complex character and shows that tbh no mother/daughter relationship is perfect.

Bruce

Better strap in, Ryann. It’s going to be a bumpy season. 😳😳

Ryann Rodkey

Yes! I totally agree with you there! I think they both could’ve done things/explained things differently for sure!!

Bruce

First: Ryann pointed out that Lorelei went to her parents at a time where she was in Great need, and she was putting aside all the past to do this. How betrayed she must’ve felt when the plan they made together was completely upended without her input! Second: this may be a hot take, but for me, Mrs. Kim’s involvement and trying to save Lane’s band was much too late. This woman spent years making lane feel like she could not be her true self. Just think how far she might’ve gotten if she had had her mother support the whole time?? THIRD: I thought Lorelai’s proposal was too spontaneous.

Bruce

It’s going to be okay, I know you said something like you almost didn’t want to watch anymore—-yet I know you will. GG isn’t a perfect show, but I believe you will still find that it’s worth the journey. You’re talking to a guy who continues to find nuances and insights from this distinctly unique show; this sometimes funny, sometimes heartbreaking and hilarious show that has amassed a Global following of fans like myself who continue to watch it year after year. As always, it is such a treat to go along this journey (and my rewatch) with you. 💙 (Blue, like Luke’s baseball cap)😊😊

Ryann Rodkey

I’ll totally be watching, you’re right about that! I love it too much to stop now!! Ahhhh the blue heart 😭🥹

Ryann Rodkey

Exactly! She went to them and thought they would actually help her. I can’t imagine how that would feel. Like a slap in the face tbh. Also agree on the Mrs.kim point tbh. I’m just happy she’s doing anything to help. The bar is in hell 🤣 I also agree about the proposal. I deadass thought that it was like a though escaping as opposed to a real proposal but I do much prefer this one to max’s if I’m honest 🤣 take it with a grain of salt though- I’ve always been against big proposals for my preference

Yasemin

I agree about Lorelai being too harsh on Rory....she insists on what she wants Rory to do and does not really listen in that moment either....she literally pushes her (inadvertently) to go to her grandparents in this situation...

Yasemin

I think in a way (and without wanting to), Lorelai pushed Rory to go and talk to her grandparents. Saying "you cannot come home" in this situation was harsh and unjustified (especially as a mom, even if boundaries can be healthy, not like this though). Yes, it LOOKS as if she was giving up her lifelong dream based on just one comment from Mitchum, but she considers him an authority in this field, and also, she might have her own inner doubts as to whether this is TRULY her lifelong dream (ie, triggered by his comment). Being a great writer does not mean you are made to be a journalist/reporter. Rory is an introvert, and maybe "being out there handling people all the time" is not truly her nature. She is very young, and she is figuring things out. Lorelai clearly also got stuck in her teens on some level, because she can be extremely reactive. The whole argument sounds more like 2 kids arguing, and not like mother and daughter. I don't care WHY Rory wants to take a break. Let's just say it is based ONLY on Mitchum's comment. So what. It seems to be what she needs right now, and not listening to her or trying to push her is not going to magically change her mind. When Richard said "this is what she wants, and we need to respect it", he had a point. Lorelai could have still disagreed with Rory, but in a gentler, more open way. Not "my way or the highway".

Yasemin

Also....Rory stole a yacht? Wasn't that out of character, when we look at the Rory of all past seasons? So clearly, something must be up with her...it is quite a huge reaction to the criticism she received...that's telling me she wasn't taught how to handle even the slightest rejection or criticism, ever. Lorelai not listening to her in this situation, not "listening" to the broader context either, but instantly jumping to "this is too important, you cannot do this", and then closing the door on her coming home...was just not the one. Even in an earlier season, we saw how Rory went to her grandparents to stay overnight when Stars Hollow and her mom felt overwhelming. This is hardly a surprise now.

fire12wife

I knew you'd be completely and utterly SHOCKED when Lorelai proposed to Luke, but I also knew you'd see it like I do, in that Lorelai saw Luke pouring out his love for Rory, and wanting to stop her from making a huge mistake! He's always been the father figure that Rory needed and deserved, but especially in that moment! He really stepped up for Rory AND Lorelai, and to see him so compassionate... Lorelai just knew in that moment, that Luke was all she wanted and needed, and all the father that Rory would ever need, and she just had to propose to him! Oh, and the delivery van that Gil made his deliveries in, actually belonged to Sebastian Bach! Amy Sherman-Palladino saw him driving it to the set one morning, and came up with the church-tour storyline! Unfortunately, he doesn't have it anymore, but would love to buy it back, if he ever sees it again! Mrs. Kim really came through for Lane, and rest of the band! She's very rock and roll! I know there was a lot in this episode, but they always do that at the end of a season! At least you don't have to wait until the end of September, or early October to watch the next episode... how we ever watched shows with a 4-5 month break between seasons like that, I'll never know! lol! We're so spoiled with all of the streaming we do now! Waiting for reactions every week is tough enough, I would not vote for a summer break! I need my Gilmore Girls! Where you lead, I will follow! ♥♫♪♫♪♥
