omg, this was both such a fun episode while also being devastating. watching Garrett please with Cindy to leave was so upsetting to watch. I LOVE A MONTAGE. AND I HAVE NOTHING APPROPRIATE TO SAY ABOUT THAT LAST SCENE.

It's complicated with Logan and Jules, interestingly I've seen a lot of reactions to this and a decent amount of them seemed to be more on Jules side and annoyed with Logan and some get very angry at Jules. But I get both sides, it sounds like their mom was in and out of rehab, so sometimes you need to distance yourself from the situation to protect yourself. But sometimes you don't want to and you want to believe it will work out better this time and encourage the person to keep trying. Also, I think Logan is a little older so he might have seen or remember a little more of the bad times than Jules. But I'm glad he was there for Jules in the episode. I don't think it was backhanded compliments from the dad, I think it was meant to make us hope the dad was actually changing, since it seems like that's not how he would have responded in the past. The "happy accident" comment from Cindy was because she made it dairy free before knowing Hannah was lactose intolerant. I feel for Garrett so much in this episode, I know he felt Cindy was scared of him, but it wasn't about him, he's a rather big guy that stood up rather suddenly and loudly. I felt bad for Tucker with that burning turkey, but it worked out. I kind of wish the show had done a better job of reminding us that Allie seemed to have called Sean at the end of the last episode because it might have made the Dean moment at the end a little more surprising.

ahhh I could see people being like that for sure but I totally get him. I've been in quite a few situations where I 100% understand Logan's view on the situation. there's only so many times that you can be hopeful and have it fail and hurt you until you have to protect yourself and your heart and feelings. I love that he went to support Jules though! ahhhh I forgot that Hannah mentioned she was lactose intolerant!! totally agree, also about the 'phone call' with Allie. I wasn't 100% sure, but I wasn't AS surprised as I could've been. especially bc it was SO obvious the whole episode that something was going on with her!
