Kenshin Himura

Yuppers... I'm not going to lie this has slight similarities to my current work but not going to lie I feel that other Otaku might think I'm swagger jacking Ideas from JJK lol.

I think Mappa as far as an animation studio goes are some of the best decision makers. Because you could have an equally good studio in talent but they may still have not made these decisions. It’s like in music when someone knows how to play their instrument extremely well but doesn’t know how to make great songs

to think itadori yuji is kenjaku's son is so wild since kenjaku took over the body of yuji's mom and gave birth to him with the stitch on mom's forehead as a hint in the earlier episodes. this revelation also explains why yuji is so physically strong and why choso recognized him as his brother, since they are both created through kenjaku as their parent, so they are half siblings (choso was created 150 years prior though)

Honestly, the contrast between Western production budgets and anime industry standards is getting impossible to ignore. Invincible clearly has a massive budget per episode, but you can tell Amazon is just throwing money at high-profile voice actors and licensing fees rather than optimizing the actual pipeline. They are overspending in the wrong places, which is why we still see those weirdly static backgrounds and janky CGI elements despite the long wait times between seasons. Meanwhile, look at a studio like MAPPA. They delivered absolute cinematic masterpieces for Jujutsu Kaisen, but we all know the dark truth behind it…MAPPA literally built its current reputation by severely underpaying their animators and forcing them into brutal, sleepless production schedules to meet impossible deadlines. It is infuriating that a corporate giant like Amazon can overspend and still deliver inconsistent animation, while MAPPA produces god-tier animation precisely because they are ruthlessly overworking their talent. The industry is broken on both sides of the ocean, just in completely opposite directions.

Fun fact, in case you didn't know, the voice actor playing Hikari, (The Blonde Guy who owns the Fight Club), is the Zoro voice actor from One Piece. Isn't that cool!!!

The labor cost more in the US but even with 100-200 animators it doesn't reach the quality I think it should get, plus the celebrity actors take up a lot of money instead of finding talent voice actors. Yes Jason they did the same thing here with Higuruma walking down the steps by tracing a real person.

At the beginning when Kenjaku (the dude in Geto's body) says "thanks for being friends with my son", its referring to the fact that Itadori is one of the "cursed wombs" that he created when inhabiting Yuji's mother. The man with the stitches in his head is technically Yuji's mom (at least the brain is). He's also Choso's father, as he created all the Cursed womb death paintings.

Higuruma and Hakari are such good character being introduced. the characters in this show are so unique. Also the girl at the start of episode 7 was friends of Itadori in high school, she was in the occult club back in the beginning of the show where Itadori had to save her and that other guy. So Kenjaku saying "thanks for being friends with my son" basically confirmed it.
