So lately weโ€™ve been mixing things up with themes ๐Ÿ‘€ Some were 1 month, some stretched to 2 monthsโ€ฆ and now Iโ€™m super curious ๐Ÿฅฐ

Which do you like more? ๐Ÿ’ญ๐Ÿ’– 1 month themes for fast, spicy variety๐Ÿ’– 2 month themes with more room for new faces and characters that usually donโ€™t make the cut ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ”ฅ

I think Iโ€™d prefer the 2 months. I love the idea of skiing plenty of room for new faces and include more characters that didnโ€™t make the list requested. Iโ€™m sure it will be more interesting and fun. ๐Ÿ’‹๐Ÿ’‹โค๏ธโ€๐Ÿ”ฅโค๏ธโ€๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜โค๏ธโค๏ธ

I think one theme per month would allow us to see new characters more, whereas with two themes we risk seeing the same characters over and over.

I think two months will probably be better. There are always more characters. Although I'd love to see Kaitlyn more often๐Ÿง. Also, check if the current character ban is appropriate for two-month threads so that there aren't the same characters in every thread.

I do like the two month plan but if you do that you would need to extend the cool down for the previous pick to 90 days or something

Honestly, I feel like each Month has its own Vibe to celebrate. I enjoyed when we got to embrace each month for the vibe it offers, then towards the end of the month, when things in the real world start getting hectic, I can look forward to the next months vibe ๐Ÿ˜Š

Honestly I like a variety, but with 2 month themes we get to see characters that get pushed out by some returning from cooldowns.

Both? I think it could be mixed. For example, February and March could be 1 theme (Valentine's Day and Easter). Then May and June and July and August could be 2 months. September is Back to School, October is Halloween, then November and December you have Christmas. Etc etc

I'd recommend a small fusion of both, my idea for a format concept: December-January: Winter theme that would include the Christmas and well....winter themes. February: month long valentine's theme March-April: Spring theme, Easter, etc. May: let's call this an auxiliary theme, since I don't have a specific idea for it yet. Maybe it could be all new girls only? June-July: Summer theme, all the bikinis and whistles LOL ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ August-September: another auxiliary theme, you could make it whatever you want. October-November: Fall theme, Halloween and other fall format. That's just my 2 cents, but an idea.

Just FYI, NN is asking for feedback on the overall 1 month 2-month themes, not the individual subthemes for each character, those are gonna be pretty much always random.

Unfortunately, that's a good point, Maybe the cooldown period would need to be changed to 2 themes worth of a cooldown.

I say the two month option, if only to give more ladies a better shot. We tend to see the same ones over and over, mostly because some ladies that get nominated automatically win, almost by default. For example, if we get Tifa and Aerith nominated, Iโ€™m 95% certain theyโ€™re going to win. But letโ€™s say a lesser known lady is nominated and sheโ€™ll get almost no votes. Now, that could be just because theyโ€™re lesser known. Thatโ€™s direct democracy in action. So maybe the cooldown length should be extended to give other characters a shot at the spotlight.

If you do 2 months, I would suggest holding another poll. There might be some really obvious girls that fit the theme who were forgotten or maybe on time out. Like Malevola from Dispatch would've been perfect for this theme but she fell through the cracks. Or Wonder Women, who's in time out.

Imma be real, I just want juicy voluptuous ladies. I guess I'd like to see higher variety of faces and such, so I lean very slightly on the 2 month vote going by your post, but I'm fine with either.

Although two whole months of just bikinis would be torture for me... Not a fan of beachwear to be honest. That would be much better as a month theme if you ask me. A month of not really being interested in the main posts I can take, but two whole months would be way too long.

Well it's a summer theme, so anything related could go as well, like wet t-shirt, or car wash, anything that screams fun in the sun.

I think the 2 month option is good for the holiday season like Christmas or Halloween, but the 1 month option is good when nothing is going on.

I like both, but the 2 month theme is better because it increases the chances of who you submitted for the poll making it into the theme

I think 1 month works well for holiday specific themes which have a inherent limit to how many characters really thematically fit, with 2 month themes allowing for more characters in the months where a holiday theme doesn't inherently limit characters that fit.

Holiday themes should remain 1 month, other themes should be two. However, we need some new kind of themes. In summer is shouldn't always be swimwear and pools, in winter it doesn't need to always be snow and ice. Something new is what is needed. Maybe turning characters into monsters or demons? Elsa as a demon? Maybe a sci-fi theme where characters are in a cyberpunk/dystopian future? Lara Croft as a cyborg cop? I think you get my drift. We need newer more inventive and creative themes.

This pretty much my opinion too. 2 months of any holiday is too much. Even new characters can feel boring if it's the 50th day of the same theme. I also love idea of a theme that mixes expected characters and settings. Fantasy characters in sci-fi and vice versa.

I feel like the real benefit of 2 month themes was the extra new characters that 1 vote for 2 months created. So maybe it's the 2 month vote that could be normal pattern? Pick two themes ahead of time. OR Still just pick one theme, and decide on the second month's theme later. Heck, the voting process itself could help you pick the second month theme based on which characters people wanted to see?
