This has been done for like 2 days but I had to wait to get feedback on it before posting. Personally, I am insanely excited to work on it and think it's going to end up as my best work yet.

Please make sure to tell me your thoughts if you go through it!

Training

We open with Coye working out in the plains north of Cransmere. It's very early in the morning, Sun has barely risen. He's shirtless, sweaty, and doing pushups. Despite his seeming lack of muscles, he was near his thousandth rep.

Shayla is nearby. She's tired, bored, and working on styling a pair of panties.

It's been three days, and he hasn't gone on a quest since. He spent one night with Suzette and Byng since, but otherwise, he's been focused on getting some major training done. The novelty of seeing her partner all hot and sweaty has lost its appeal at this point.

He rises after finishing and Shayla asks if he's done yet, he reminds her that he still has to work on triple strike. Shayla groans and says you weren't supposed to take me at face value, you know. Not actually expecting him to get super strong just so she feels comfortable enough to fly around in public.

Coye knows she wasn't literal, but he says it's still true she would feel safer if he was stronger, which she confirms. Coye says that's all the justification he needs, then.

Shayla blushes, finding it hard to be too annoyed at the slow pace of the last few days when he's trying so hard for her sake. It makes her feel special and she grumbles in acceptance, carry on.

Coye then starts practicing triple strike, filling his arm with the energy and getting used to the tremendous strain it inflicts. He doesn't actually expend the art, meaning his stamina isn't fully used up, but he does perform practice strikes with the power in his arm. It hurts, but he does feel an improvement compared to a few days ago. He knows he'd feel different if he was actually expending the art, but this was how he got used to double strike when he was first learning it.

After a while passes, Coye falls to the ground and is annoyed at the lack of major progress. Shayla comforts him and says he's doing great. Coye asks if she's not just saying it, and she promises him it's true. She asks why he's so down and Coye feels like he hasn't really gotten stronger in a while.

Shayla tells him not to worry since having her by his side is a big powerup in and of itself, right? This cheers him up a bit, and Shayla reminds him not to worry about it since he's more interested in chasing girls right now than he is adventuring.

Coye admits that's true, and we get a little detail as to the nights he spent with Suzette and Byng as he smiles about it.

Shayla gets up in his face and is like even so, you should fit in some adventuring still and asks him how about going on a job today. He was thinking about it, and Shayla is glad to finally get back to action.

Coye mentions how it's still a little early, though... and he acts a bit cagey. Shayla assumes Coye wants something and acts exasperated- wasn't last night enough for you? Last night was good, but he can never get enough of Shayla.

She grumbles and reminds him he's lucky he's cute, and tells him to whip it out and she'll do something quick for him to give the boy some motivation.

He does, and we get a new type of magical sex play from the Pixie. She's able to make herself vibrate, which she strategically does while sliding around him.

Coye is refreshed, and Shayla cleans up. She tells him he had his fun and now it's time to work. As he gets ready to go, Shayla ends up being honest and thanking him for training so much for her sake lately. It's unnecessary, but sweet. Coye says something romantic back to her and she brushes it off as they head back to the guild.

When they enter, they're met with an unexpected sight. Suzette is there at the front desk talking to Dorothy, asking if she has any idea when he'll be back yet. Dorothy points him out and Suzette is happy to see him. Shayla's like what the heck is this about, did she bring him lunch or something?

Dorothy explains that this woman was requesting him specifically for a quest, only for Suzette to go and greet him in a rather adult manner and kisses him.

Dorothy picks up that this is the other women Coye was referencing, and she feels somewhat inadequate compared to the mature beauty even though she isn't sure why.

Tammy enters with coffee and sees the femboy and the milf and makes some inappropriate comment.

Rather than include the receptionist, Dorothy calls them back to the record room so they could properly register the quest.

Quest Talk

Coye hasn't been in this room very much, we get a desc. It's a bunch of shelves with reference books and files and there's also the magic shipping bin Guilds use to send stuff to HQ. Suzette is sitting beside him, acting a little clingy, distracting Dorothy.

She recounts a little of what we know. One of her shipments is late, and today, she found out why. A Lindwurm appeared and attacked the wagon, devouring the horse and stealing the caravan.

Dorothy has a momentary interruption where she geeks about how rare Lindwurms is, before reigning herself back and is like oh, uh... that poor horse...

Suzette is amused, even more so when she sees Coye finding the outburst cute. She knows what's up.

Anyway, the driver managed to make it into town today and tell her. She doesn't know if the goods are still secure, but she's willing to pay Coye to have him investigate and put down the beast so she can have someone retrieve the cargo.

Dorothy asks if it's ok to ask a personal question, Suzette says of course. Dorothy asks why she's going through the Guild when Coye and she are together.

It's simple, she respects Coye as a professional and wouldn't want to make use of him like that. She doesn't give him free items from her shop just because they're dating. A discount on certain trading cards, perhaps, but that's different.

Dorothy catches the hint and is like trading cards...?

In a show of trying to show Coye that she's trying to work past her problems with Dorothy, Shayla tells Coye to mention he started collecting the cards and how it might give him an 'in' with her. He does so and Dorothy lights up, but she apologizes to Suzette for getting distracted again and doesn't know where her brain is today.

Suzette is amused and proposes the two of them could talk about it sometime after a certain Lindwurm is put down.

Dorothy speaks up and hates to ruin the moment, but as the GM, she has one major reservation regarding this whole quest. Coye is strong, but she doesn't feel comfortable sending him alone against a Lindwurm on its home turf.

As if waiting for the opportune moment, Byng reveals herself and says he won't be going alone. Everyone either stares or casually greets her, making her mad that her dramatic entrance wasn't as cool as she thought it would be.

Dorothy is a bit more ok with the idea, but Byng might have issue piercing the Lindwurm's scales without using Arts. Byng groans about how being an archer sucks sometimes, mentions she's gonna have to do some testing to see if she can't find a way to make her arrows sharper or something.

Dorothy asks if this arrangement is suitable for Suzette and if so she suggests a price, including the handler's fee. Suzette agrees, and she turns to Coye adding in that there will be a special reward for him if he can pull it off.

Dorothy blushes as the talk sounds suggestive. Suzette asks him about that thing he asked her about (house), and how she's given it some thought and has decided she's made up her mind and is ready to move on from her past. Coye isn't aware what she means.

Suzette asks if this is allowed, giving a reward outside of the quest and Dorothy blushes and is like what you do in your relationship is in no way a matter of the Guild, so long as the fee is paid for the quest. She thinks they're talking about some kind of sex thing.

Byng is pumped, jokes about how Suzette can't kick her out because of her smell now, adding to Dorothy's confusion.

Eager to change subjects we get Dorothy explaining Lindwurms in more detail, what to look out for, tips on fighting it (don't go in the lair, try and lure it out), and so on.

Coye asks her what parts he should harvest if he wanted to sell some and Dorothy gives him some recommendations but she's antsy and it looks like she wants to ask something. Shayla prods him to ask, and she off handedly asks since he's gonna be doing it anyway then maybe he could give her a scale if it's not too much trouble? He's happy to do so, Byng teases them a bit but Dorothy is obstinate and shuts down the idea of anything happening here.

Suzette is amused and wants to see how this relationship develops, and then praises Dorothy for her thoroughness and makes some comment about looking after Coye. Dorothy tries to downplay any favoritism and insists it's her job.

Coye and Byng are ready to go, Suzette stays behind to fill out some paperwork for the quest.

Quest

Given that it's a while away and they'd prefer to come back the same day if possible, they rent out a horse even though Byng's dislike of mountain animals extends to horses as well, but at least they're better than woodtreaders.

Coye asks if they have any domesticated animals at all in her realm, yes, but even then they have to respect them. Domestication is more like mutually beneficial partnership and those can go bad at any second. Coye finds it in him to promise he'll protect Byng from the big scary horse.

Rather than getting huffy about it, Byng notices Coye is a bit more chill these last few days. He's like ah yeah, but she tells him she likes it. They have a cute moment only for the stable owner to cough and make them hurry up with the rental fee. They pay and leave.

They start riding down the Trade Way to Dewhurst, and we get a small overview of Coye's riding skills. It's just one of many things that his father taught him during their training, but his father's horse was a titanic mount which he could barely control and it used to scare him a lot as a child. Over time he got closer to that horse and learned he wasn't so scary, and after that, riding became easier.

Coye also knows some riding arts for advanced horse control. Similar to empowering his sword with his own energy, he can reinforce the horse's stamina and speed it up a bit. He was capable of making it much faster, but it'd be draining so no.

This particular riding session goes easy, and in a hour or two they come across the spot Suzette told them to look out for. They didn't even need the landmark hill and 3 trees to tell them they were there, there's scorch marks, a shed scale or two, and a long trail in the grass with claw marks.

Coye jokes about not being sure how they'll be able to find it and recommends that the master Huntress do her thing and track down some tracks for them to follow. She gives him some playful sass and they follow the trail to a cave in the south. It's not far from the Gnarled Woods but not fully in it. They tie the horse down a pretty safe distance away and feed it some oats while they approach the cave.

It's positioned below a small hill, and they note how it'd be a great ambush spot. Coye thinks about maybe helping Byng prepare one of her traps but they both decide against it since there's no telling when the monster might come out.

They wonder how deep the cave is and if their efforts to smoke it out would go well, but there's only one way to find out. Byng has a plan and tells Coye to go up at the ambush spot.

Byng launches three water balloon type arrow filled with oil, and then a single fire arrow. A decent sized explosion occurs and they hear the monster hissing like crazy.

Byng jumps up to be with him. She's not sure if she hit it, but it won't take much damage anyway since it's got fireproof scales. It'll definitely piss it off, though. Tells him to get ready. They feel the earth shaking slightly as the monster comes out. We get a description. Long, thin, green, snake face but with two clawed arms. Much more teeth than a snake has, spines along its back.

Coye performs the same art he used to kill the boarman as he jumps down on it from above, but it has faster reflexes and twists out of the way, granting Coye only a glancing blow.

It whips its spiny tail at him, he shields, but it knocks him far off. He almost lands on a jagged rock but Shayla uses wind to blow him into a bush instead.

Byng takes the chance to launch a standard arrow, piercing its eyeball. She apologizes to Coye, but she has to aim for the easy spots. He'll have to make do with the tongue or whatever. He's fine with it and moves in closer, studying the monster carefully as it writhes around in pain. It could nail him with its tail at any chance so his guard is up.

His patience is rewarded when he deflects a blow and launches a counter, double striking down on the tail. It doesn't sever it but it makes it nearly half through.

Byng carefully lines up a shot and shoots itching powder into the wound which drives it mad, scratches itself with its claws making deeper and deeper wounds until it severs it itself.

Shayla wonders if monster self-mutilation is just something that happens a lot around Byng.

Coye takes this chance to quick step in and slash at one of its arms.

It scratches at him with the other one, causing him to get out of the way. Then it starts getting ready to blow fire. Coye mutters to Shayla, and she responds by manipulating the Lindwurm's luck. Coye isn't the only one who wants to get stronger- she has to start using her mana more.

Thanks to Shayla, the monster burps and the fire bursts inside of it.

Byng urges Coye to do his thing and Coye jumps in, manages to triple strike the monster's head straight off. As he lands, he grits his teeth. Byng rushes to his side and makes sure he's ok, and Coye is happy to find that his training seems to be paying off a little bit. It doesn't hurt as much.

Byng congratulates him, saying she knew she picked the right man.

They come to the conclusion that they need to check the inside of the cave for the wagon since it's nowhere to be seen but there's wood splinters and shit outside the cave.

They pick up the severed foot for proof of kill, Coye harvests some parts and puts them in a bag, and Byng reminds him to get a scale for Dotty. Coye does so and Byng crosses her arms and asks about their GM.

She wants to know how much Coye likes her, and Coye defends himself saying he likes Byng just as much. It's not like that, she's just curious. Coye admits to liking her a lot, and Byng thinks it'd be good for her. Dorothy could use a win sometime and she thinks Coye would be good for her.

Coye is all smiley at the thought, which Byng laughs about. Coye then gets a little more serious though and has Byng promise she's not going to go trying to set them up together or get in the way. He doesn't even know if he's going to pursue Dorothy yet, he wants to give it time and make sure things happen naturally.

Byng thinks about it and respects his choice, and it's like he has enough girls to deal with as it is for now anyway. Coye nods. He wants more experiences and partners, but not to rush into things with anyone.

Byng then jumps ahead and asks which of the bitches he's going after first, by the way. Coye is a little startled and asks her if they can please focus on the quest, and she laughs and accepts.

There probably wouldn't be another lindwurm since it would've been smoked out, but the cave goes pretty far back. The fire has died down, so Byng lights her lantern and Shayla lights up his sword. They make it far enough back and they come across the ruins of the wagon. A bunch of boxes were torn up but most of the goods were torn up since there wasn't any food.

Byng suggests they start hauling all the boxes outside of the cave. It's not their job to take them back, but ordinary people probably shouldn't go cave diving. Coye agrees, Shayla complains about the workload she isn't helping with.

As they start moving boxes, the ground crumbles under Byng's feet and she barely manages to jump away. Both drop the boxes and assess the threat- a new monster has appeared. Three. They are huge ants the size of dogs.

Byng is like case in point, we really can't let normal people in here. Coye agrees and dodges one charging at him with its drill, slays it. Byng shoots one in the legs and then in the head. Shayla, not wanting to be outdone, lifts a rock and throws it at a stalactite which impales the last ant.

Byng is like kinda messy there, huh? No eyeballs from that one. Coye is like, uh, yeah, thought I'd show off a little with my magic. Shayla hates the stolen credit.

Things get worse as more of the ground starts to shake, and more and more ants start appearing from every surface of the tunnel. Byng thinks these things had a symbiotic relationship with the Lindwurm, keeping it nest clean and cleaning up the gore. There's so many of them they doubt they'll be able to save the cargo. Feels bad for Suzette.

They need to get out of here, Coye has a plan. They can't fight their way our but they can run. He pulls out one of his magic tools, an extendable rod with a block at the tip. Just as the moles prepare to rush them, Coye waves it and it summons a five foot tall block in front of him. Byng's curious how that will help, but he gets on top and waves it again, summoning another block in the air above, connected to the first like a stairway.

Byng is like oh, then once Coye is on top he summons two more in a runway pattern. The rod loses its magic luster, but they have 15 ft to run and quick step off of, putting them way away from the rushing moles and giving them a good start to run towards the mouth of the cave.

Moles keep popping up behind them, but they exit. Coye prepares a couple of small bombs and throws them into the cave, while Byng lets out a force arrow at the mouth, crumbling the entrance on top of a ton of them.

They make the conclusion that this won't hold back the tide for long, so they get back to the horse and dash off heroically.

Coye is upset, he usually gets like this when a quest doesn't go according to plan. Byng cheers him up saying it's all part of the job, jokes about how she knows how things don't go to plan more than anyone else. He laughs.

Coye thinks about how wasteful it is to leave all those dead moles unharvested, and Byng asks if he's starting to pick up a weird habit or something.

She reminds him that he won't need to save as much soon anyway, since it sounds like Suzette is really coming through for him on the house thing.

Shayla is really dreamy about the idea of their own house, and Coye looks on the bright side and agrees that Byng is right. Things are starting to really look up around here.

Suzette

After bringing back the horse, the group visits Suzette. She's surprised to see them back the same day and fusses after them, are they hurt, etc. Byng is forced to stand at the doorway though. Coye reveals what happened.

Suzette is disappointed, but it's not like anything can be done about it. These sorts of things happen, and it's her fault that she didn't hire any protection for the wagon. Not that she really had a choice, given how the Guild in Dewhurst is practically closed for business and the only guards she could've hired were thugs who likely would've robbed it themselves. She's just lucky it wasn't a major loss.

Coye mentions she could hire a bigger party of adventurers or stronger ones to go and excavate the cave, but it's not a two person job. Shayla corrects him two and 1/8th. Suzette informs him that it's really not worth the expenditure.

Byng teases and tells Suz how sulky he was, and Coye defends himself saying what man isn't upset about letting his girlfriend down. Suzette blushes and tries to act mature about his comment, but she acts a little cutesy over such a statement.

It's not a total waste- her money helped make the roads just a bit safer for everyone else and that's good enough in her book. Suzette then moves on to the other reward. This isn't the only house she owns.

Her late husband had a little cabin to the north west of town, only about a 10 minute walk from the walls. It's not all that big, but it's comfortable and it's close enough to the archery towers where monsters aren't a concern. She's like to give it to Coye.

Shayla is like score, Byng cheers, but Coye is reluctant. You really wanna give me a whole house? Suzette knows it might be seen as spoiling him, but she's insistent and is a little emotional on the topic of the cabin. It only gives her bad memories as is and she'd prefer it if it could become a happier place for her.

She implies that her husband did things in that cabin, and it's only fair that she take her revenge by doing the same. Smoldering, hateful eyes, creeps the 3 of them out. It'll need a bit of cleaning, so if they have nothing else planned why don't the three of them make a date of it tomorrow.

Byng is hesitant, saying she should see her camp, and Coye confirms Byng lives in organized chaos. Suzette isn't hearing it, and Byng relents.

Suzette suggests Coye go and turn the quest in and inform his GM he'll be moving out, Byng tries to go with but Suzette actually invites her in. She wants to talk to her in private. Byng is vaguely threatened, but stays behind. Coye teases her he'll never forget her, implying Suzette is gonna take her out or something, and he departs after Suzette tells him to take the rest of the day for himself and they'll all meet up at the Guild tomorrow.

Shayla wants a word before he gets to the Guild and they pull into an alleyway, where Shayla comes out and starts flying around like crazy. She's so excited that she needed to get it out of her system, ends up flying to him and hugging him.

Shayla hammers it in how appreciative he needs to be of Suzette, how he has to treat her like a goddess, and Coye finds it funny how her respect for Suzette has gone up just because she's giving them a house.

Shayla admits it, but then moves on and asks why he doesn't seem quite as excited. She asks if he feels weird about the husband thing, Coye says thats not it and he goes on to say he's lived in the Guild for two years now. He wants to move out, but it's still a place of comfort for him and...

Shayla's like don't tell me you're gonna miss Dorothy. The Guild is right up against the Peace Gate so it's not even a fifteen minute walk to get there. He'll still see her every time he goes to work.

Coye apologizes, says he'll try and not let it bother him, but he does wonder what Dorothy is going to feel about it. Shayla asks if he's expecting her to cry and beg him not to go, he protests but she's like you totally like that idea don't you. He evades the subject.

Shayla's like come on, you, and they leave.

When they get to the Guild, Coye stops. Something feels off. He looks around and Shayla asks if Byng is lying in wait for him somewhere, but he doesn't get that feeling.

He walks towards the Guild and opens the door, only to be met with Britni waiting for him and crossing her arms. She praises Coco's nose, surprised she could smell him from so far away. Coco declares 'Best sniffer'. Tiph teases that he should look happier to see them, while Marlie barely acknowledges his presence.

Britni grabs Coye by the shirt and lifts him up, saying they should all go catch up somewhere more private. Coye looks to the front desk for help and says he has a quest to turn in, gets told Tammy is on a break and Dorothy is out on business for an hour or two.

Britni smiles wickedly, declaring it's just us now.

Bully Scene

They're out behind the Guild now, and we get told Shayla's evaluation of the four girls. It's framed like she'd heard so much about them that seeing them in person is surprising, and we get detailed notes on their appearances and behavior from her. Shayla really, really loves how fashionable the four are, but she's intentionally keeping quiet so she can scope out the dynamics at play here and study the girls and Coye's chances with each.

They are sitting at one of a benches used for outdoor festivities. Coye is nervously sandwiched between Tiph and Coco, neither of which are respecting his personal bubble. Britni is leering at him from across the table. Marlie is sharpening a sword while barely paying attention.

Coye asks how their quest went. Tiph's like aw, were you worried?

A little. You were gone for a lot longer than Dorothy thought it would take.

Tiph notices he called her ‘Dorothy’ and Britni hounds him on the topic until he admits they got a bit closer as friends while they were away.

Marlie mumbles how someone kept getting distracted and dragging things out looking for ingredients, Tiph counters they don't often go that far out so she had to take her time. She reminds Marlie she's not like the rest of them, she only adventures to fund her experiments and such. We get that there's a minor snarky thing between Marlie and Tiph.

Coco reminds Marlie they took an extra day to look for that weapon she heard about, and the half-demon shuts up.

Tiph counters that Coco wouldn't stop chasing rabbits, and Coco declares she does as she wants.

Britni snaps and tells all the bitches to stop bickering about this and that. They all listen to their leader, who then asks Coye if he was hoping they weren't gonna make it home and it's too bad for him that they did.

Coye says he'd never wish that on them, and Britni grumbles slightly. He summons up the courage to actually say he was a little worried about them, actually.

The girls react to this a bit weird, but Britni is angry and like what, you think I can't handle myself? She alludes to there being 'just the one time' but it's a passing comment, implies history Coye shares with her. Britni tells him not to look down on her. Marlie says he can't because manlet.

Tiph has a glimmer of mischief in her eyes as she pulls Coye to her, mockingly saying they need to leave the poor kid alone. He's not looking down on Britni, he's just being nice.

Britni doesn't believe it.

Coco spontaneously freaks out and barks at Coye, jumping away. Britni reels in her pet and tells her to heel and explain herself, and Coco says Coye is different. He's not afraid like when Tiph usually touches him- he's into it.

Britni is shocked, Marlie is somewhat interested, and Tiph laughs calling him gross.

Britni gets up and leans over the table, threatening him about perving out on her friends. She tries to get him to admit he is, gets annoyed when he won't man up to it.

Tiph lets go of him and defends him, saying it'd be weirder if he wasn't turned on by her. Britni jokes like you wish, skank.

Marlie looks at him with her piercing demon eyes- we get an inflection from Coye about how he's most uncomfortable about Marlie because she's half demon. Not racist against demons, but has had bad experiences with their kind before.

She points out that something is different about Coye.

Britni gets up and looms over him from behind, clasping his shoulder. Asks is that right? Anything big happen to him while they were away? Coye mumbles he doesn't know where to begin.

Marlie points out he's not flinching at her touch, and Britni blushes and pulls her hand away. She orders Coco to give him a sniffdown, Coco refuses because he smells really bad (Byng).

Tiph teases saying the dog isn't much better, Britni goes harder and demands it from Coco. Coco obeys and Coye tries to get away, but Tiph and Coco pins him. The alchemist isn't very strong, but he finds struggling difficult once Coco gets to work.

Coco shoves her nose into his chest, moving it all around his torso and even brushing against his nipple from the outside causing him to squeal.

Coco observes the stink is some kind of pheremone- the alchemist is interested- but Coco is like wait... under it all... mating...? He's been mating!

The girls pause for a moment, and Britni starts laughing. Coco, he's a boy. You don't need to tell us he jacks off. Coco insists he's not doing solo things. She smells pussy.

Tiph is like oh my gods, trying to stop laughing, Marlie makes a mocking comment, and Britni is like momentarily horrified (Shayla notes this). Coco scoots away so that he can't attempt to forcibly mate with her now that his feral desires have awoken.

Coye is like I'd never forcibly mate with you! Tiph asks if he'd do it consensually. He looks at her and is like well she's really cute and all. Coco blushes and barks at him angrily, telling him it'd never happen.

Britni defends Coco, does a power move and is like yeah, Coco is my pet, right? And we get a small hint of hesitation from Coco (again Shayla notes) before Coco agrees she is Britni's pet.

Britni sits down on the bench next to Coye and grabs his shirt again, angry. She asks if he finally went through puberty and visited a brothel or some shit like a loser, Coye shows some spine and says he's got two girlfriends now.

More shocked responses- Tiph calls him a cheater. Britni asks if he's stupid or something. As soon as she finds out who they are, Britni says she's gonna let the poor chicks know they're being two-timed and then he'll be high and dry.

Coye reveals that they both know about the other (Shayla hidden 3rd lover joke here) and that they're cool with it. Coco is in disbelief, says he can't be an alpha, he's a beta. Tiph wonders if that's really true, since he has major 'step on me mommy vibes'. Marlie says he's obviously a sub, but being a sub doesn't make you a 'beta' per se. Only stupid people think that.

Britni breaks her quiet to stand up and lift him up again, then slams him on the wall to the Guild. Pins him. Tiph tries to calm her friend, but Britni doesn't listen. She threatens him, asking if he thinks this impresses her or something. Coye asks why impressing Britni would be a concern of his, but this only angers her further. She reiterates that he'll be a loser even if he starts up a little harem- because a real man doesn't let girls walk all over them like this.

Coye has a moment of lewd clarity. Pinned like this to the wall by Britni, his face inches from her cleavage, and that fierce face of hers and her puffy lips... in a haze he asks why does being a 'real man' matter if being the way he is gets him all the attention he wants?

Britni looks down and sees that Coye is really into being pinned, and she backs away, flustered. She is dramatic and curses the gods of asgard or something, Tiph laughs, Coco is staring, Marlie says gross.

Coye then covers his erection and sinks down to the dirt below, and Britni is like hmph at least you know your place, but Marlie tells her to look again. Coye is still smiling even in his shame.

He apologizes saying he's had trouble controlling himself lately, Tiph says not to worry as it's hard not to get turned on when being pinned down by Britni, isn't that right Coco? Coco barks back at her. Given that Britni is in a mood, Tiph sees another chance to mischief and says since he's being loose with his jizz then he should send a few bottles her way- you'd be surprised how much alchemical uses that stuff has.

Coye's tongue catches in his throat at the thought, Shayla is like holy fuck

Britni freaks out and is like Tiph what the fuck- why are you encouraging this gross, unmasculine behavior? Tiph says because it's amusing.

Britni looks to Marlie for backup, who makes it clear none of this is any of her concern. She's never understood the fun they get from messing with Coye, or so she claims. Still, nothing wrong about a worm being honest about enjoying their position, or something. She looks at Coye with sadistic eyes, giving him shivers and a thrill.

Then, she asks Coco to back her up and Coco is still confused. Agrees Coye is gross but still hung up on him being an alpha or a beta, doesn't think he can be both. Women like him like an alpha, but he enjoys beta things. Tiph tells her not to worry her almond sized brain about it, Coco barks her brain is the biggest and she's a mental giant. Tiph says lumping people into two categories like that is shallow anyway.

Britni gives up, but she's strangely emotional. She looks at Coye and puts it very clearly that she can't believe he's become so much of a loser, and how she didn't think he could disappoint her more than he already has. You've always wanted us to leave you alone, right? Well today's your lucky day cause she's done wasting her time on him from now on.

Coye shocks her by saying wait- no! And Britni is shocked. What the fuck do you mean no?!

He's like I dunno I was just thinking that maybe we could go on a quest sometime, or something? Get to know each other better.

Britni overloads. None of this makes sense to her. She tries to say a dozen different things, but eventually Tiph takes pity on her and leads her away while telling him that this was fun. Despite what Britni says, she's sure they'll be seeing a lot more of him.

Coco follows after them, looking back at Coye to growl.

Marlie leaves but not before giving him another eye and making sure that his lower sword better not be the only one he's taking care of. She threatens to steal his sword if he's not treating it with respect. Coye isn't sure what she's on about but they all leave and he nearly collapses.

He clutches his chest and has trouble breathing. Shayla tries to wrangle him but he's so turned on that he can't help it. He's talking to Shayla like did you see the way she pinned me, that angry look of hers... he can't control himself.

Coye manages to stand and he enters the Guild. Dorothy is back at the desk now but he tells her he'll be with her in a few minutes and he rushes past the dining room into the nearest restroom. He undoes his pants and Shayla is like woah what the hell I thought we agreed you do this without me, I'm not into- and then Coye starts masturbating into the toilet.

He doesn't last long, and Shayla is stunned over what he just did. He sits down on the toilet to recover, dazed, and stares at the sky.

Coye can't understand it- that was amazing. Why was he so afraid of their bullying before?

Shayla has her biggest 'what the fuck have I done to this boy' moment yet, and Coye asks what she thinks about them.

Shayla tells him her thoughts. Britni has so many issues that it's hard for her to remotely guess at what the hell she was on about- worse than Dorothy even. Coco is simple, but she senses a lot of conflicted emotions in her. Marlie is a half-demon and she really can't tap into her emotions without getting burned, so Shayla has no idea. Comes off as bitchy, though.

Coye asks about Tiph, and Shayla is reluctant to answer. She admits she doesn't get good vibes from Tiph, and Coye asks if it's cause of her being an alchemist. yes, that's part of it, but... she's like come on baby, don't you know by now that some people aren't as nice as their friendly face makes them look? Shayla's insistent that there's something wrong with that girl, and knows asking him not to maybe pursue her is overstepping bounds, but she asks him to be careful regarding her.

Coye doesn't get it, but he promises to watch out, he guesses.

Shayla asks if he's done here or not because he's still got to turn in their quest and talk to Dorothy.

Coye had completely forgotten about that and buckles up, then gets going.

Sharing the Plan

Dorothy is worried when she sees Coye, he's all red and dazed looking. Tammy is back, too, and she informs her that Britni got her hands on him. He looks at her like how did you know, and she shrugs. What? I could see and hear you from the window. Not my fault you didn't get bullied somewhere private.

Dorothy stands up, flustered, declaring she's going to go and give those girls a talking to. Coye defends them saying it's alright, everything was great. She's like... great? And then he downplays it. Tammy goes heh.

Coye then hands off the quest stuff, tells Dorothy about what happened and how they already informed Suzette of everything. Dorothy is sympathetic for the merchant, but sometimes adventurers can't solve every problem despite how much they try. Coye agrees but tries not to get too down about it.

Dorothy senses something is wrong, causing Coye to open up and explain that he needed to tell her he's going to be moving out of the Guild tomorrow. Although it was such a simple sentence, Dorothy takes it surprisingly hard.

She freezes up and asks him to repeat himself, but Tammy says he's moving in with one of his fuck buddies. Dorothy blushes and Coye corrects her saying he'd been thinking about it for a while and he'd asked Suzette about, who said she had an extra house she wasn't doing anything with and...

Dorothy nods weakly and somewhat follows along. She's like yes, of course, that makes sense. You have an active love life these days, so it only makes sense you don't want to live here anymore...

Coye is fast to mention how its extremely close by and only a 15 minute walk, and he'll still hang around the Guild a lot and he imagines he won't always feel like cooking, so it's likely he'll want to eat there still. Plus the guild is his bank, so...

Dorothy is a little more relieved, and she smiles at him.

Tammy senses that there's a moment going on and she slinks back to the other room saying she forgot something, but she keeps the door open a crack and is still obviously watching the two.

Shayla prods him to ask if somethings wrong, Dorothy says it's weird, but she never really considered there might be a day where she couldn't immediately come to him with a problem and get his help. Coye reiterates that he won't really be going far, but it's more of the principle of the matter she says. In a way she's excited for him, moving on to bigger and better things, whereas she'll keep doing the same thing.

Coye works up the nerve to tell her that he'll always be there to help her, so don't worry about it. If you ever need me, I'll come running.

Something awakens in Dorothy as she stares at him, not fully, but it's there. She struggles to say something, but Tammy comes out again and checks Dorothy's head, lies about her having a fever. Tells Coye to go grab some dinner or something and leads Dorothy upstairs to her bedroom.

Dorothy gets a bit more coherent and she asks what they're doing in her bedroom and Tammy says Dorothy needs a rest. She says she always needs a rest, Tammy says yeah well this time you're actually getting one. But... the Guild.

Tammy groans and says she'll do her job just this once, so make the most of it and chill out for a while. Tammy leaves, saying she did her good deed for the day so if she needs anything ask someone else.

Now that she's alone, Dorothy stands there awkwardly for a moment and then hobbles over to her bed.

She still thinks about Coye moving out, and wonders why this is bothering her so much. Tons of adventurers have moved out over the years, and they still come in almost every day of the week. That's just how the system works. No one really wants to live here.

So why is she feeling this way? Does it matter that Coye specifically is moving away? It has to be, but why. She's so close to a breakthrough regarding her feelings, but it just doesn't happen this time. Thinking about Coye is confusing her and hurting her head, and it hurts enough as it is already so she decides to lay down and sleep.

She comforts herself by thinking maybe a nap will clear her head, but she muses how maybe its like she doesn't know how much she'll miss something until it's gone.

Moving Out morning

Coye awakens the next morning after a couple rounds of sex last night with Shayla. Given that she doesn't help his condition much, he started the day on edge, especially as thoughts of Britni and the others still flooded his mind early in the morning. Shayla wakes up soon too, glad to sleep in after waking up and training yesterday. She notices he looks a little more dazed than usual and asks if it's about his condition, and he's like sorta, just still remembering about the Bitches.

Shayla is like geez how romantic. Not like she wanted to be woken up with a kiss saying 'last night was so good, Shayla' or anything. He apologizes and tries to do that but it falls flat. Even so, he can't help but laugh.

She wastes no time trying to hurry him. He's tired so he doesn't remember why, and she reminds him of the plans for the day. Coye is suddenly excited, a bit more fired up about moving than he was the day before. He says it must have sunk in.

He gets up, gets dressed in his casual clothes, and makes it downstairs to find Byng in the lounge- already on her way to come get him. Suzette showed her where the house was yesterday and she should be over there already. Byng is there to help him carry his crap. She tosses him a bag of holding and asks if he needs any help, he starts to say he should be fine but is interrupted by someone from the stairs behind him. She's in cute pajamas.

Britni is like no fucking way. The smelly green bitch is your little side ho? Everything makes so much more sense now.

Byng looks around, pretending not to know where the sound is coming from. She then says she thinks she hears the sound of the elusive Midgardian Whore and if you listen closely you can hear the dripping sounds of her loose, cavernous vagina.

Britni loses her shit, declares she's as untouched as the fresh fallen snow, and tells Byng to fuck off and go craft more of her fart arrows.

Coye starts to ascend the stairs as he asks Britni not to start a fight or anything. Britni asks where he gets off taking this kind of tone with her, and he counters that he thought she was done wasting her time on him from now on. She has no real answer to this, but asks what does he need to do upstairs that is so important.

Coye tells her he's moving out today.

Britni says wait, like out of the Guild? Are you transferring to another one or something? No, just wanted to get my own place.

Byng helpfully adds its because of all the mad pussy he's getting, she counters Coye to be careful in that green isn't a healthy color and he better make sure he doesn't end up with any diseases.

Coye gets mad and tells Britni not to talk to her like that. He storms up to her and Britni is oddly happy. There we go, that's what I want to see. He keeps glaring until Britni backs down and slinks off to get coffee.

Byng just sighs and wonders what the hell her problem is, Coye is unsure but he doesn't remember Britni being THIS bad... Byng thinks back and she agrees, but declares wasting her mental energy on why Britni is being bitchier than usual is a waste of her limited resources up there.

After they get up the stairs they run into Tiph, who apologizes on Britni's behalf. Coye is a little wary of her thanks to Shayla's warning, but she seems nice enough. Coye asks what's wrong with her, and Tiph says she's just acting out because her favorite toy isn't gonna be around anymore. She excuses herself as needing to go and make sure the viking doesn't kill anyone in her anger, wishes him good luck on the move.

She also flicks her green hair and tells Byng that green is a nice color so don't worry so much.

Coye and Byng go into his room and she's like gag me, I don't know who's worse. Brit or Tiph. Shayla says told you but he's like? Doesn't understand what's so bad about her. Byng is like short-stuff, you're great and all, but we both know you can be a little slow at times. That bitch is fake as hell and I wouldn't trust a single word she says.

Coye asks how she can tell, Byng insists that women know these things. She's like why, you're not interested in her, are you? He hangs his head and says I don't know.

Byng sits on his bed and is like wanna talk about it? Coye tells her that yesterday they ambushed him and bullied him like they used to but he took it very differently. Byng says she can bully him if he wants, Coye blushes and says maybe some time. Byng is happy with the idea and they both pack up everything in his chest.

Next, they head to the front desk and hand the bag to Tammy so he can go get his stuff from Guild storage. It's just a bunch of clothes really, and she passes the duty off to a weak willed maid who listens to her. While they're waiting, Tammy chats him up on the move. He's gotten better at talking to her, and isn't that intimidated.

Dorothy is feeling ill today so she's not going to be seeing him off, Coye is sad, Tammy says gee try not to be so obvious about it. He says he was just worried since yesterday got all weird. Byng demands clarification, Tammy says nothing important just some weird momentary drama.

Byng crosses arms- starting to think that killing a lindwurm and running from ants was the least exciting part of your day yesterday, between Britni and this.

Coye laughs as the maid comes back to them with the stuff prepared. Tammy tells him to have fun 'breaking in' the place tonight, reveals she's a little upset he won't be around as much. He was just starting to get interesting. Her tone and face are flat so there's no way to tell what she means by this, but he bids her goodbye all the same.

Byng and Coye both make their way outside town and Coye sees his house off in the distance. He'd walked by it a few times in the past but never gave the location much thought until now. It was small, on top of a large flat hill, and was made of wood. It wasn't very well kept, but it had a charm that inspired something in him when he sees it up close.

Byng asks what he thinks, she checked it out yesterday. Coye is happy with it, feels surreal looking at it and knowing that it's his home from now on.

Shayla is obsessed. It's perfect, demands he go inside right now. As they approach, Suzette walks out of the door and is wearing a casual outfit today to get some cleaning done. Her hair is done up in a cute bun as well. She presents the place to him and he hugs her hard, he can't thank her enough for this.

She's a little overwhelmed and tells him she expects the first payment later on today. He says what? She teases that he owes her a whole lot of love for this and he can start making it up to her soon. Coye promises he'll do anything.

Asks what is he waiting for, and she leads him inside. Coye goes in and sees it's all one room. It has a musky smell that smells like really old sex, but Suzette promises they'll have that cleared out soon enough. That's what the opened windows are for.

Suzette explains some of the amenities. kitchen, stone fireplace for winter, and that there's an outhouse in the back and a well for fresh water, but they'll need to add a new filth slime to the outhouse since it hasn't been in use in several years. She knows a seller and will set him up with a deal

Coye is happy with the place and asks about the surrounding land. Suzette assures him that it also belongs to her, so in the future they can do as they wish with it. Byng wonders about setting up a second base around here, while Suzette proposes a bathing area.

Coye thinks it's good, but in the future he thinks he'll need a lot bigger of a place. Suzette assures him they can expand it in the future, but that's then and this is now. She asks if he's ready to get started. Shayla threatens him into making the place sparkle, but he's hyped for it as he could be.

After cleaning

And sparkle it did.

They worked for half a day together, scrubbing the place down, cleaning out furniture and disposing of hidden pictures of naked halflings and flat chested Dwarves. Then came dusting, cleaning the windows and countertops, and then Coye and Byng set on the task of cutting down the overgrown yard a bit while Suzette organized things.

Right as they sat down to take a break, a wagon comes near and says they have a delivery. Coye is surprised and looks to Suzette to thank her, but she says he needs to thank Byng.

He's confused, and Byng gets a little embarrassed. It was Suz's idea, she just paid for it. They earned a ton of gold the other day from their big hunt, and she still feels she owes him for saving her life so she wanted to do something for him. Shayla is reluctant, saying she wanted to be in charge of decor, but she'll give it a chance.

Says she doesn't have the milfy mommy thing going on, but a girl still wants to provide for her man every now and then y'know. Coye blushes and is about to embrace Byng, but the delivery man says this is cute and all but he needs someone to sign for this shit, they've got other deliveries to make.

He signs for it, and a team of dwarves bring in a big king-sized bed, a number of boxes with cooking stuff, and a bit of food. Byng says she's gonna bring him up a bunch of meat soon, but Suzette insisted on stocking him with other preserved stuff. Shayla approves of these additions to her home after all.

Coye is feeling awkward now, they're both giving him too much love and he doesn't know how to handle it. The girls exchange knowing glances and Shayla reckons that Coye is in for it tonight.

The delivery dwarves haul out the old mattress, Suzette looks at it with disdain and bids it a creepy farewell, alludes to infidelities committed upon it. Coye places his hand on her shoulder to snap her out of it and she's thanks him and says everything is good.

They make the bed and then Coye lays down on it for the first time. After a long day of work, it's hard to get up from it. Suzette actually suggests he get comfortable and have a little nap, because now that they're done, Byng and Suzette have to go somewhere for an hour or two.

Coye is confused, but Suzette tells him not to worry his head over it. He relents and bids them goodbye for now, and after they go, Shayla comes out and takes it all in. She's silent and starry eyed.

Coye asks her what she thinks, she turns to him and says it might be small for him, but to her, this is an entire Realm of paradise. She reassures him that they're gonna make the most of this place and it'll be their home from now on. A place where we can be together. Coye blushes at Shayla's sincerity, but is happy for her.

She tells him to take that nap now, he's going to need it for tonight. Coye tells her to be careful she doesn't get seen when they come back, unless she's cool with that finally. Shayla grumbles at him not to ruin her mood, and he apologizes.

Bath

Byng is super nervous as she walks down the street with Suzette arm in arm. She's even trembling a little. Suzette tries to soothe her nerves, promises this won't be so bad, and they stop in front of an ominous building.

It's just a bathhouse.

Suzette promises she'll love this place, she's been going here for years ever since she broke out of her shell. Sure, it's a bit more expensive, but-

Byng interrupts that this isn't about it being expensive. Suzette apologizes for trivializing Byng's concerns. She promises she'll make this easy for her, and Byng enters the building. Inside it's hot, humid, and steamy. Byng is uncomfortable by the atmosphere as they head to the front desk.

Suzette makes friendly chatter with the receptionist, a kindly older man in drag named Bubbles. They seem to be close, and bubbles notices Suzette's company and addresses Byng.

She attempts to be friendly back but it's obvious she's nervous. Bubbles asks how Suzette came across this one who so obviously needs a scrub, and Suzette reveals that the two share a lover.

Although surprised, Bubbles correctly guesses that she's talking about that cute half elf Suzette has told her about, and is happy she no longer needs to hear about Suzette's troubles in love. Byng points out how they seem close, and it's revealed that after Suzette started coming here she took an interest in the place and started providing some of the products they use here. Bubbles insists Suzette is a wonderful business partner, but she's humble about it.

Bubbles is kind and asks Byng about her problems, and she admits she has something of a phobia of open water. Bubbles guesses Suzette is barring her from engaging in 'group activities' until she attempts to get over this, and it's revealed that was part of what they talked about yesterday.

Suzette and Byng had a sit down after Coye left and they confirmed where they stood with each other. Both of them enjoy the other's company, even if Byng's lack of common sense and manners grate Suzette at times- but the smell isn't something she can tolerate and she apologized if not bathing was part of her culture or whatever.

Then they agreed that they both found each other attractive and neither would mind much if Coye wanted to be with them at the same time. Rather, Suzette and Byng both were interested in making it happen sooner than later. Suzette to widen her horizons, Byng because Suzette is just that hot.

Ultimately, Suzette got her to agree to making an attempt after they helped him move in so they could give him an amazing surprise that night.

Byng says blushing that she owes it to both Coye and Suzette to give it a try, no matter how hard it is. Bubbles reckons Coye must be one special boy, and they both agree. Bubbles jokes that they should bring him in sometime and introduce him, but Suzette jokes about how Bubbles can't be trusted around cute men.

Suzette moves the conversation along and asks if any of the private baths are available right now. They are. Suzette pays, and Bubbles tells her she can pick one out and lock it herself. Don't worry about a time limit, take all the time you two need.

Byng thanks him, and the two head down a hall until Suzette finds an unoccupied room. They enter a changing room where they both strip and put away their valuables, and Byng can't help but stare a little. It's not full on lesbian drooling but it's like intimidating how hot she is.

Byng insists she's not the kind of girl who gets hung up on breast size, but it's like... gods, woman. What do you eat. Asks if she's done anything with them to Coye yet, Suzette doesn't follow until she pantomimes a titfuck and Suzette is like, ah... yes... I've read about that. Do you think he'd like that? Byng teases they should find out tonight.

Suzette picks up a bucket of different soaps and such and they enter the bath and Byng is really intimidated, she instinctually clings to Suzette like she's her mom. It's a small square bath with flowing bubbles powered by ArcTech, very steamy and relaxing looking.

Suzette sets the blanket down and asks Byng how she wants to do this, and she doesn't know. She tries not to look at the water.

Suzette leads her by the hand to the edge, lays a towel down and sits , only dipping her feet into the water. She pats the ground next to her and asks Byng to try and do the same.

Byng awkwardly sits but does so cross legged, avoiding putting her feet in it. Suzette assures her that she's not going to rush her, Byng thanks her.

Hesitantly, Byng reaches out and dips her finger in the water at first and finds its really hot. Suzette- isn't it nice? Byng- a little...

Suzette then attempts to make the first step and fills a bucket with water, dips a cloth in it, wrings it, and asks for permission to use it on Byng. She reminds her that she's done this much before, yes?

Byng nods, and Suzette gentle does so and starts scrubbing her back. The Gengaggi likes how it feels, and Suzette starts to work on rinsing her off before. She wrings the cloth out and Suzette is a little disgusted at how much accumulated grime she's getting off of Byng's skin, which embarrasses the girl.

Suzette promises she isn't here to judge Byng and continues wiping. She asks her to try and put her feet in the water like she is, and she dips her toe in before startling herself a little. Suzette comforts her, prompting a second attempt where she submerges herself up to the ankle.

Suzette praises her, but Byng apologizes. She doesn't like relying on others to this extent. Suzette- Yes Coye tells me you're very self-reliant.

It's part of her culture. Everyone does the most they can for the tribe, because if everyone isn't putting in all they have, no one will make it.

Suzette tells Byng that she should think of her as a member of her tribe, then. It's only natural for her to help her if they were family, right? Byng blushes and accepts the explanation, promises not to let it bother her so much.

Suzette moves on and explains she's going to rub some soap in now if that's ok. It is, so she does so. It's a little sexual, but not egregious. There is some flirting but Suzette says to save it for tonight.

Now she dips a ladle or w/e into the bath and explains she's going to pour it on her. Byng is a little freaked at the idea, but Suzette is able to get her to consent. Again, it feels nice.

Byng ends up wanting to ask a personal question, and Suzette deems it fair so long as she gets to ask one of her own. Byng wants to know about why Suzette is so chill about Coye having multiple lovers. Doesn't want to dreg it up, but that cabin is totally where her husband would have affairs, right?

Suzette is distant, but not in her usual comical dark way. In a very sad way. Byng immediately apologizes but Suzette shoots it down, saying she's alright.

Cheating was the least of his problems. She alludes to domestic violence, eroding her self worth, stealing from her shop, and isolating her from her family. She felt like she had done something wrong, like it was all her fault, and by the time she started to realize, he had an 'accident' and it was too late for her to reconnect with her family. They died a few years into the marriage, making her even more alone.

Byng is supportive and heartbroken to hear this junk, but Suzette continues to talk about Coye. Says she started things knowing he had some sort of condition that would see him finding sex elsewhere, even if she was surprised he found Byng not even a day later.

Byng apologizes, but Suzette is kind. She knows Byng had likely been chasing him and she's far from the only girl in town. One of them would've gotten to him first, it just so happened Suzette had the first chance.

Byng still doesn't follow, but Suzette explains she wants three things out of life. Love, wealth, and family. Suzette has friends like Bubbles and lots of business acquaintances, but she is lacking a 'tribe' of her own. It's a bit weird, admittedly, but the more lovers Coye has then the more that 'tribe' expands.

Byng is like oh, ok that kind of makes sense. Suzette says it might be presumptuous of her, but she'd like to continue getting to know Byng from here on out. She promises to spoil her like one of her own, as long as they make the bathing a recurring thing and Byng listens to her regarding manners.

Byng then asks 'guess you probably want to know about the water thing, right' and Suzette admits curious but only if she'll tell her. Byng admits that it's because of her homerealm.

Most of it is desert or savannah, and any huge sources of open water have to be taken with extreme skepticism. Monsters lie on the shores and beneath the lakes and rivers, so the idea that people enjoy swimming and bathing in Karnalle just doesn't resonate with her. Suzette explains they have water monsters too, but Byng says not as much. You could throw a piece of meat into a lake and a twenty ton leviathan would pop up immediately to gobble it down.

Suzette understands now, and Byng reveals there was an incident when she was learning to hunt where she chased something up a small ridge overlooking a river and she fell into it. Some fish monsters swarmed her and if it werent for her dad and his arrows she would've been eaten alive.

Suzette comforts her, and Byng shakes her head. It was a long time ago. Things are different, and she wants to try and make a change. She stands up and takes a step forward, sinking up to her knee despite the wincing.

Suzette tries to get her not to take such drastic measures right off the bat, but Byng is resolute and continues down the next step. She's hyperventilating and Suzette gets up to help her, but Byng shouts a battle cry and dumps the rest of her body into the bath.

Byng freaks out and Suzette follows her in, hugging her and telling her it's ok, and Byng just wants to be held for a moment as she gets used to it. Lots of comforting words and hugging her later, Byng has indeed gotten a bit more used to it and she loosens her grip.

Suzette guides her to the nearest step, and Byng sits down on it leaving things up to her neck. She asks if she did good, and Suzette congratulates her. Byng is still scared, but she can't deny it feels good. Real good.

Suzette gets the feeling that Byng is going to be alright after all, mutual smile between the two.

Changing the subject, Byng makes a cryptic comment on whether or not they're going to ask Coye about 'the thing' tonight, and Suzette thinks it's for the best. The longer the ruse goes on, the harder it's going to be on everyone involved. Byng agrees. Suzette says they should finish up here then, she still needs to wash her own body after she takes care of Byng's hair.

Suzette gets a bottle of shampoo and says Byng is going to want to close her eyes for this, and she's like wait what

Intervention

Coye wakes up when there's a knock on the door, Shayla scrambles to hide in the hat as they hear Suzette calling out to him.

Coye gets up and tells her to come in, and she looks really sparkly and pretty to the point where he blushes. She's flattered, especially when Coye notices how her curly hair looks even softer and fluffier than usual. She laughs as she sets down a basket of food- dinner they picked up on their way back. She explains she doesn't want to cook, he understands.

Coye asks after Byng and Suzette looks over her shoulder and sighs. She urges Byng to come on and that she's overreacting, Coye is going to love it, but she struggles and doesn't want to come in. Suzette insists nonsense, he's going to love it.

Coye calls out to her and Byng grumbles before walking into the house. Her hair is straight, brushed, and she looks very girly. Suzette has dressed the Gengaggi in a Karnallian dress, but apparently she still couldn't get the huntress to wear shoes.

Byng is bright red and hates every second of this, but Coye almost dies of cuteness at seeing her. Shayla almosts dies laughing. Byng loosens up a little once she knows he thinks she looks cute, but is still uncomfortable.

He then realizes she had a bath and he asks if she's ok, and the two girls are happy to announce it went about as well as it could've. They're planning a minimum of once a week from now on and Coye hugs Byng to congratulate her. She takes the W, albeit blushing.

They all have dinner and after they're done, Suzette takes away the dishes and cleans them quick. Coye asks how late they were planning to stay. He loves having them both together like this, and Suzette laughs asking if it wasn't obvious. They both intend to stay the night.

Coye's eyes bulge and he looks at them both smiling lewdly at him. He's like wait both? At the same time?

Byng asks hasn't he thought about this happening yet? Coye reveals no, it actually hasn't. Byng and Suzette recoil from his wholesomeness, as they were both awaiting this greatly and assumed the same of him.

He's obviously already horny, but Suzette dials back his expectations a bit. She then states that she was thinking it doesn't have to just be the two of them, if he wants.

Coye doesn't understand. Shayla does.

Byng brings up that friend of his he was talking about the other day, the one who pushed him into asking Byng out. She asks if she's here right now.

Coye tries to deny, but he isn't a good liar. Suzette assures both him and the hidden girl that they're not mad at her, they just want to introduce themselves and talk.

Coye's first instinct is to defend Shayla, explaining how she's really sensitive and doesn't want other people to know about her. Once they see his reaction, Suzette and Byng realized maybe they shouldn't have tried so directly. They apologize to the hidden girl and promise that if they want to pretend this never happened, both of them will respect her privacy and not pursue this any further.

There's silence until ultimately Shayla lifts up the hat and reveals herself, saying there's not any point in hiding if they already know. Coye tries to rush over and defend her, but Shayla insists it's fine. She asks him to carry her over to the table, and he reluctantly does so. She steps down from his hand.

Shayla is anxious, somewhat irritated, and she doesn't make eye contact with either of the girls who are quite bewildered at the Pixie. She is somewhat confrontational about this, saying well you found me and overall being standoffish. Suzette takes out a small pie from the dinner basket and places it in front of Shayla. She comments it must grow difficult having to watch other people eat all the time, asks you like sweets, right?

Shayla looks at the pie and finally at Suzette, reluctantly starting to eat it. A few bites later, and she goes all in. They watch the pixie eat many times her body weight and then magic it away, thanking Suzette subtly.

Suzette looks at Coye and asks how long they've known each other now. Around two weeks. Shayla explains she was looking for a way out of the woods, a partner to work and live with who would keep her safe. After watching him for a long, long time, she picked Coye.

Byng is like, when you say 'partner'...

Shayla says yes, we fuck, just like you all do. Before you go getting mad at Coye for cheating on you or not telling you about me, just know that it was all my fault. I insisted on it.

Byng says you really think we care about that? As far as they're concerned, they wouldn't be here without Shayla's help pushing behind the scenes. Isn't that right?

Shayla admits it's true, she's the one who's been motivating him to get out there and do things and chase girls. Suzette- if that's the case, how can we possibly be mad? Coye feels depressed and says he was worried they would think of him differently if they knew Shayla helped him in his attempts at getting closer to them.

Shayla explains that they talk through one way telepathy. Byng says that explains the constant mumbling.

Shayla tries to say that most of the seducing was him, but she did feed him advice and help with a few things here and there. Byng asks about when the floorboard broke under them, Shayla has no idea what she's talking about but Byng laughs saying that was a good prank. Small bonding moment.

Suzette also praises Shayla for all the pranks she pulled in her house, though sarcastically. Shayla defends herself- she was in a bad mood after watching them get all cute with each other.

Suzette so you stole my candy, changed the contents of my books and transformed my entire wardrobe? Shayla says yeah so don't piss me off again.

Coye tries to get Shayla to see that they're trying to be nice to her. She reminds him she didn't just one day up and decide to chat him up- it took her months and months of preparation to even decide if she wanted to try talking to Coye.

Byng feels down, thinks maybe this was a mistake, but Suzette continues on and tries to befriend Shayla. She thanks her for looking out for him, and asks if there's anything they can do to show they want to get to know her.

Shayla demands that they don't breathe a word of her existence to anyone. Not a soul. She still plans on keeping herself hidden from now on, at least when they aren't all together.

Of course, they agree.

Shayla finally asks how it is that the girl even know about her, and Suzette reveals she saw her the other night. After she was done ravaging through her house, 'you remember you came up and kissed Coye?'

You saw that? Honey, you glow in the dark.

Shayla feels a little stupid, then looks to Byng. Byng wasn't sure what was going on specifically, but she knew that Coye hadn't actually learned magic and had picked up that there might be some fairy stuff going on. She's run into a few fairies in the forest before and she recognizes all the sparkly stuff on his clothes as fairy dust.

Shayla is embarrassed. She charmed the hat so it wouldn't get dust all over his hair, should've done the same thing to his clothes.

Suzette asks if she's been in the hat pretty much every time, and Coye admits this is true. Suzette calls Shayla a voyeur, and she can't deny it. Byng finds it kinky.

Shayla tries to get them off her back for now, but it escalates and she panics. Coye asks the girls to give him a moment with her alone, and he steps outside with Shayla.

She groans how bad this is. Coye tries to make her see the other side of things. Even though they're not mad, they still had their privacies invaded and all they want to make up for it is a chance to get to know you. Coye wants to know why that's so hard.

You want to know why? Really? Why I'm so afraid of mingling with others besides you? Because a long time ago, her mom got captured by fairy hunters and every new person she talks to only maximizes the chance of the same thing happening to her.

Coye is heartbroken for her and Shayla sees how sad he is, and she tries to calm herself down. She explains she knows this is irrational and she's sorry, but she can't be happy about being blindsided like this.

Coye asks her to give them a chance, and when she sees how much it means to him, she sighs and tries to compose herself. She apologizes for being such a bitch, and Coye says she doesn't need to. Before they go back in, he asks if she'll tell him more about her mom sometime, and Shayla reluctantly says probably yes.

They return, and the girls are eager to apologize for not doing this in the most tactful way.

Shayla does the same and tries to tell them she has had bad experiences with the big folk before, and meeting new ones wasn't something she was remotely ready for.

Byng asks how she ended up with Coye if she's so afraid of big folk and we get a comedic answer about how shouldn't Byng of all people know that they can't choose their sexual preferences?

Byng laughs and is like you told her about me? Coye admits he tells Shayla everything, she's his partner. Is sorry, Byng says its cool.

Suzette proposes that since Shayla already knows so much about them because of all the spying, it should be her turn to tell them about herself. She's dying to know how Shayla met Coye, and we see the first cracks in Shayla's rocky exterior as she starts to hype it up as a pretty good story.

Nighttime bonding

Shayla gave her story, every last embarrassing detail of it from the teasing kisses to the nitty details of how Coye lost his virginity to her. Shayla seemed a little proud of that fact, as if rubbing it in, but the story goes on with Byng and Suzette enraptured. Coye is deeply embarrassed about the conversation but he does his best to keep quiet in the name of allowing Shayla the chance to bond.

The story then evolved into explaining how she pushed him to hook up with Suzette to try and help his sexual condition, and then how she threatened Coye into taking Byng out on a date. Byng laughs at how Shayla got him to do it, finding it funny more than anything, much to his shame.

By the end of the story, tensions have eased considerably. She's not fully open to them yet, but she's able to talk to the girls normally and look at them more often.

Shayla ends up asking where do they all go from here. “The bedroom… duh”-Byng, maybe Suzette says they're all a part of Coye's life, and they'll need to get used to each other sooner or later. Shayla agrees and thanks them for being understanding, even if she can be a bitch she doesn't mean anything by it.

Shayla gives Coye the floor and says if he has anything he wants to say, now's the time.

Coye just apologizes one more time for not telling the truth and lying about a lot of things, but it's fine.

Suzette explains how he's going to have to have this same discussion with any other girls who end up in his bed, and he knows. Shayla hopes to be more comfortable with others by then so that it's not as much of a disaster.

Suzette wants to know if she'll still be helping him seduce girls and feeding him advice, Shayla says duh, so what? Suzette is like well far be it from me to lecture anyone on what's right and wrong, but...

Byng speaks up and offers some Orcish proverb crudely equating to the ends justify the means. Suzette agrees.

It's getting late, and things have gotten emotional so Coye says if they want to have the lewd fun some other time then he'd understand.

Neither girl is into the idea of postponing, and so long as it's not weird for Shayla they'd like to stay and have fun. She jokes sure, it's not like I haven't seen you two at work before.

Speaking of lewd, Suzette observes how this sexual affliction of Coye's started after he started routinely sleeping with a pixie, yes? And how sleeping with Shayla doesn't help with the condition like it does with anyone else, right?

Shayla catches the implication and is embarrassed and Coye doesn't quite get it, until it's explained that having sex with Shayla so much is what's making him so horny. She's rubbing off on him- some might say corrupting him.

Shayla said that's not possible, she's never heard of that kind of side effect before. Byng wagers that maybe Coye is special and he's like super reactive to fairy pussy or something. Suzette jokes they should find another Pixie and test this hypothesis- but Shayla is jealous. He can sleep with any other girl but he only gets one Pixie and that's her.

The girls laugh, Coye comforts Shayla that he doesn't want another Pixie. She shuts him up saying his words mean nothing considering he'll stick his dick in just about any pretty little thing these days.

Still, they should be careful going forward. Shayla asks if they want her to stop having sex with Coye because although she doesn't wanna pull rank she WAS here first and she will fuck up anyone who- Coye tells her to stop starting fights and she remembers they're not her enemies.

Suzette proposes that it should be fine so long as his libido is kept in check, but they'll need to stop and look into things if Coye ends up growing wings or something.

Byng slumps over the table and leans closer to Shayla, saying in a suggestive tone how she still isn't quite sure how it works with Shayla. Sensing where she's going with this Suzette tries to stop her, but Byng asks isn't she curious too? Well, yes... but...

Shayla realizes Byng is implying she wants to see how Coye and her have sex and she lightly (comically) panics. Coye asks what the problem is, isn't that only fair? Shayla asks if he's really ok with this while they're at it and he says it'll be embarrassing but yes, they'll probably see them doing it anyway sooner or later so why not now?

Shayla grumbles and eventually consents to giving them a little show. Go on and get comfortable everyone, she snaps her clothes off and sighs.

Sex

Coye is nestled against the back of the bed propped up by several pillows. All the lewd talk had him already excited, and now it was even worse because Byng and Suzette are both cuddling up to him on each side. Each are wearing lingerie that Suzette had picked out for them before returning, and they'd been wearing it all night secretly.

Coye was harder than the three had ever seen. They reckon having everyone all together like this must be fueling his super boner, and he laughs uncomfortably. It's probably the case.

Shayla is straddling his cock and she can feel it pulse between her legs. Before she starts, she wants to make one thing clear. Until she says so, only Coye is allowed to touch her. Being picked up makes her feel like she's about to be eaten, and it will probably freak her out.

Byng is disappointed- she has big tits for someone so small. Shayla- well from my perspective you have small tits for someone so big. Byng laughs.

Suzette clarifies that she doesn't just magically grow bigger during sex, and Shayla grumbles how if she could that then she wouldn't have so many problems now would she?

Coye eases Shayla, points out she's wetter than usual. Suzette suggests that she must enjoy the audience, and Shayla rolls her eyes but can't deny it. She tells Coye any minute now, and he reaches down and pushes her.

The girls watch as Coye starts to fuck Shayla just as he always does, but Shayla feels super different. Having three giant people watching her get used like a toy is overwhelming for her, even more so that they're providing commentary. Neither can quite believe what they're seeing, but they both agree it's pretty hot. It isn't long till they're grinding their thighs together and soon they even start kissing Coye's neck.

It makes him pulse way harder than Shayla is used to, his extra excitement turning into pleasure for her. Shayla even encourages them to mess the boy up a little since it makes her feel good.

Coye doesn't know how to deal with all this attention. He feels so good as he's sliding Shayla up and down and moaning from the kisses, but when Byng gets adventurous and bites his nipple he accidentally shoves Shayla down hard and cums. They watch as she fills up and both are like what the fuck.

Shayla asks them not to stare, this is embarrassing, but they can't help it. Suzette wonders if Coye is turned on by seeing her like this, and he admits he always is. He likes it because it makes her look pregnant, and gets teased for him finding that hot.

Byng asks how long she stays like that. Shayla likes to let it settle for a minute, because it feels good, then she snaps it away again. Shayla asks Coye not to stop because she didn't cum yet. It feels really good but the nervousness is making it hard to orgasm.

Suzette recommends she do whatever she does when they're alone. Shayla is nervous because she usually does a lot of dirty talk to make up for her size, and Byng tells her to give it a shot.

Shayla begins to tease Coye for being so dirty, enjoying two girls teasing him while he fucks his favorite little pixie pussy. As he fucks her harder, so too do the girls get to work on him and fondle him more aggressively. It gets to the point where Byng and Suzette each pulls his legs out and rub their pussies against him, feeling the wet juices on both of his outer thighs.

Byng and Suzette join in on the dirty talk, telling him to give it to Shayla harder and harder. She's actually a little overwhelmed by how hard this gets him going, losing leave of her senses. Eventually she cums really hard and both girls pressure him to cum really hard again.

He does, and both he and Shayla seem momentarily wiped out. Suzette clasps her hands over how fun group play is- she thinks she could get addicted to doing this all together. Byng reminds her they haven't even touched each other yet, Suzette blushes but is into it.

Coye can't even believe his life right now. He asks how he got so lucky, and Suzette mentions he managed to find a good partner who gives him solid advice.

Shayla says she's just trying to suck up to her, but Suzette insists it's true.

After she magics the cum away, Coye pulls her off and she flies over to the nightstand. She taps out, saying even with magic it's physically exhausting to get stretched that hard. Hopes they don't mind if she watches. They don't of course.

Byng and Suzette both sit up and say something seductive.

Sex 2

First things first, they start cleaning him up with their mouths. It feels amazing and Coye can't believe it's so different with two tongues. Shayla tells him not to get distracted and to give something back to them. Don't just lay there, put those hands to work.

Coye starts rubbing their pussies through their panties and Shayla congratulates him. It doesn't last long as they pull away from him now that he's nice and clean. Both sit up on the bed and Byng tells him they talked about all kinds of things they want to do to him together, but before that, Suzette shared something sad.

Apparently Coye hasn't eaten her out yet, Byng says. She gets behind Suzette and tantalizingly messes with her panties, attracting Coye. Suzette is a bit shy about how forward Byng is, but doesn't mind.

Byng proposes he make it up to Suzette and if he does Suzette might do something nice for him.

It's almost laughable how quick he responds to it- Shayla laughs and calls him shameless.

Byng urges Suzette to take the momentum and she gets into it, fully stripping her panties and going femdom about how she wants to be licked.

Coye starts almost immediately, grabbing her hips and positioning himself.

Suzette really likes it, claims no one has ever done it for her before. Shocking. Even more so is when Byng starts feeling her up from behind, grabbing her tits.

Byng asks if there's a problem, and Suzette grabs Coye's hair to keep him in place as she moans. No problem, playful about allowing Byng to touch her.

Shayla is surprised at how lewd things are getting and gets into it, rubbing herself too.

Suzette asks if she's done this before when watching them have sex, Shayla admits it. Suzette says she better watch close this time cause they're really going to give her a show.

Suzette starts facehumping Coye, grinding him into her and Coye is all about it. He loves getting taken advantage of while doing his best to service her. It made him feel appreciated and aroused beyond measure, pushing him to work harder and harder.

Byng starts to tease Suzette's nips, she gets really close and Byng tells Coye to finish her off.

He does, forgoing his need for air to do his thing.

Orgasm, both are left panting. Byng praises them both, Shayla teases Byng about how she's more or less taken control. Someone has to. Suzette fires back saying she's still getting used to the group dynamic, she could run circles around Byng if she wanted to. Byng says welcome to try.

Coye asks about his reward once his breath is back. Suzette teases him if he really wants it. He's desperate, and he can't even control it. It's been two days since his last relief and he really needs some.

Byng tells him that's the spirit, has him stand up and Suzette kneel. Shayla knows what's up and congratulates Byng for thinking of something so dirty. Coye is confused, thinks he's just getting a blowjob, but then Suzette strips her top off and wraps her tits around him.

He's like what is this, it's amazing. Suzette informs him according to the books she's read it's a titty fuck. It was Byng's idea, so thank her. Byng smiles evilly and says he can thank her later, then reaches around and grasps Suzette's tits and starts fucking Coye with them.

Suzette is anxious, reminds Byng she's capable of doing this herself, but Byng tells her not to be so stingy and to share the fun. Isn't it more dirty this way? Suzette concedes and places her hands overtop of Byng's agrees that it is pretty dirty. Especially that look on Coye's face.

Shayla gets up from her rest and flies to Coye's shoulder, saying she needs to see this.

Coye is astonished at the girls rubbing Suzette's tits around him. So big, soft and it's even better when Byng leans over Suzette's shoulder to drool all over them with her long tongue. At first Suzette is like what are you doing, but then once it lubes it up real nice she's like oh... this is good...

Coye starts getting into his hyper mode as Shayla hypes things up. She talks dirty about the titfuck, calls him dirty, so on. It gets to the point where he reaches out and grabs Suzette's shoulders so he can start fucking her at his own pace, much to Byng's encouragement. Suzette feels really good thanks to sensitive breasts.

Byng slinks behind Coye since they're both doing their thing at this point and she starts whispering into his ear, nibbling it and biting it, telling him to cum. Shayla joins in on the opposite ear and Coye can't hold on.

Without warning he coats Suzette's face to the point where it shocks the three girls, and the wonder just how supercharged his dick really is. He falls back on the bed, satisfied for the moment. He didn't know boobs could get any better.

Suzette asks for a little help from Shayla, but the pixie thinks its a good look on her. Byng offers to help and tells Coye to watch closely.

Suzette tells her to wait, but it doens't work and Byng starts licking her clean. Dragging long tongue nice and slow across her face while making breathy sounds.

Suzette stares off blankly at the strange act once it's done, Byng teases and asks was it good for you? Suzette says a towel would've worked but it could've been worse. Suzette asks Coye if he's ready for more. Always.

Good, because Byng is getting too cheeky for her liking and Suzette surprises them both by maneuvering behind her, prying Byng's legs open and pulling aside her panties for her. Do me a favor and show her who's really the boss around here, would you, Darling?

Coye can't resist and he plunges into Byng faster than she knows what's happening.

She moans, Suzette starts to run her hands along Byng's body and asks how she likes it. Byng just wanted to help things along and make things less awkward, Suzette concedes that she succeeded and that this is her reward.

As Coye slams away, Suzette settles into one hand on breast one on clit, torturing Byng.

Shayla coaxes Coye into talking more, instead of panting like a dog. He ends up saying Byng looks so cute like this, he loves seeing her teased by Suzette. Byng is too embarrassed, but Coye asks Suzette to go even harder on her. Byng begs them not to, but she complies and it isn't long before she cums from the combined assault.

She says she needs a break, but Coye is in beast mode, and Suzette teases her that he hasn't cum yet and she can't tap out until she gets filled up. Shayla and Suzette both push Coye to fuck her even harder than before until he finally fills Byng up a crazy amount.

Suzette is like oh my it really does just keep going and going doesn't it. Shayla worries if they broke Coye.

He pulls out of Byng who is breathless, and he's in sensory overload. This is amazing, and he wants more. So many sexy voices, so many pussies to fill, Coye starts to wonder what it will be like to have even more girls in bed.

The girls stare at him and then at Shayla, as if this is her fault. She insists that this can't be all her fault, and that they're encouraging him down this path of corruption just as much as she is. Byng states that they aren't the ones with the magic pussy that started all of this to begin with.

Against his own usual sub interests, in this frenzied mode, Coye is more proactive. He goes over to Suzette and starts hounding her for more attention and she's embarrassed by how pushy he is, but she can't deny him anything he wants.

He surprises Suzette by pushing her down and mounting her, slipping in without much warning. Shayla feels vindicated that someone else has to take it as hard as she does, and Suzette is really into being on the other end of things and taken advantage of. Some of her dialogue is in the vein of like fuck me in this house that ruined my marriage or something. Not AS on the nose, but you know.

Coye is surprised- he thought he liked being on bottom. Byng squeezes his butt and teases saying there's nothing wrong with being a switch. Peoples moods change, and Suzette confirms that there's merits to both.

Shayla encourages him, telling him to look at how fucked up Suzette is getting. You did that to her. Don't you wanna ruin her even more, baby? Do it. Ruin her.

Coye loses his mind and really reams Suzette. Byng gives props to how Shayla can really rile him up, and she states he's easy to influence.

Eventually he fills Suzette up and pulls out after she cums. Byng jerks him off a little, teasing how he's gotta have more than that, and it results in shooting some over her belly.

It's all amazing and he needs a break. They tell him it's not like they're going anywhere, and we're told everyone had fun for the next few hours on and off until Coye passed out first.

The three girls are all sore and exhausted, Suzette complains he doesn't know the meaning of restraint, but that can be a good thing from time to time. She's not an adventurer like Byng, she wonders if she'll be able to walk properly tomorrow. Byng promises to help her home if she has to.

Shayla says she'd help if she could but y'know. The two turn their attention to the Pixie and once again apologize for outing her the way they did, and Shayla apologizes instead saying she shouldn't have freaked out.

Suzette jokes that it might be too early to call each other sister wives, but how about friends? She and Byng extend their pointer fingers towards Shayla, who blushes but summons the courage to shake them as if they were hands. She agrees they can try this friends thing out, neither of you are too bad.

They rejoice, and Suzette asks a serious question. Shayla's with him all the time, right? She wants to know if there are any other girls she could see becoming a part of this bizarre arrangement in the near future. Just so she knows. Byng is curious too.

Shayla is like he's obviously into Dorothy and Suzette says obviously, besides her? She hesitantly mentions his bullies and how he seems really interested in them now that he's awakened to his subby nature. Byng isn't surprised, Suzette looks at the sleeping boy in mock disbelief.

When asked her thoughts on the bullies, Shayla isn't sure. She told him she'd encourage his efforts but she's starting to think it might not be the best idea... and yet, as a Pixie she also has the impulse to see things go bad because it'd be fun. Apologizes for being the way she is, kinda lives by the moment.

Suzette resigns to what happens happens, but they all agree to look after him if he makes stupid decisions. He's too trusting and pure, when he isn't thinking with his dick.

The night ends with all three cuddled up to him, and Shayla is happy she doesn't need to hide anymore for the time being- at least in the privacy of their growing little family.

Guild Incident

We get an update over the last week since the threesome. Coye has moved in fully and the house is starting to look nice. Byng and Suzette have dropped by on and off with more things to help fill it up and furnish it, and in the meantime he's been mixing up his life between adventuring, training, and quality time with his lovers.

Day by day Shayla is improving being around them, but she still has a long way to go. Luckily they're patient.

Coye has been living in bliss, content, but... just as the girls feared, his eye has been wandering to less than desirable places. Things were a bit weird with Dorothy since the move out. Not avoiding him, just a little distant. he's sad since they still haven't talked about cards yet. When at the Guild he'd often seek the company of the baddest bitches.

In a rare reversal, they seemed to mostly be ignoring him. Even Tiph, who claimed to be busy all the time. Marlie always told him to buzz off, Coco would growl or bite if Coye got too close (which of course he's into, creeping Coco out even further), whereas Britni minced no words and said she wasn't gonna go giving him any fuel for his sissy fantasies.

One sticking point keeps up clear with Britni- in that she is very insistent that he'll never be a 'real' man and he's still just a loser. Whatever that means.

The wrap up ends with Coye heading off to the Guild to get some breakfast and pick up some work. He sees Britni and co eating together and he asks if there's room for one more.

Britni is frustrated about when he's gonna fucking learn no one wants him here and that he needs to fuck off. Coye says there's an extra seat, but Coco growls and puts her huge fluffy tail on it.

Dorothy comes in and sees the five of them, and although she's still feeling weirdly hesitant about Coye, she comes in to help him and ask if they're bothering him. Britni asks her to take Coye away, he won't stop harassing them. Dorothy has a hard time believing this given their history, and she looks to the other girls for confirmation. Marlie doesn't care, Tiph doesn't help Britni, Coco confirms he's a weird creep who always smells like mating.

Dorothy is a bit in over her head and she just wants everyone to get along. Britni tells her if she's not going to be of any help like usual then she should go and fill out paperwork and get back to her stupid, meaningless life. Dorothy is on the verge of snapping, eyes twitch, she clutches her clipboard, but before she can say anything- the door to the cafeteria is slammed open.

Everyone looks over at it, and in walks a handsome silver-haired man dressed in a suit and a hexagonal-patterned trench coat. Coye can't believe his eyes because over his shoulder he is carrying the many eyes of that aberration Coye saw a while ago. This man killed it, and Coye knows him to be Auguris, a gold ranked adventurer.

He storms in and addresses Dorothy by her full name. He's furious and needs to talk to her. Tammy trails after him trying unconvincingly to stop him. He is shocked at the disrespect- he came home after a week and a half tracking down this monstrosity only to find that his room has been cleaned despite specific orders not to touch it.

Dorothy tries to calm him saying they can talk about this somewhere private, but he feels that'd be inefficient since he's here now. Dorothy feels like the spotlight is on her and she gets anxious. Britni is enjoying the show.

Auguris demands an explanation. Dorothy reminds him his room smells like sulfur and all sorts of other chemicals and she's sick of her bedroom being across from it, and so is everyone else on the third floor. He fails to see how this is any of his concern. He told her not to, and yet she did it anyway.

Dorothy tries to remind him that she is the GM around here and what she says goes, Britni speaks up and jokes how it sure as heck doesn't seem like it sometimes. There are some laughs from the other adventurers in the cafeteria and even a few employees. Dorothy struggles- crying as she says if he doesn't comply with her conditions, she will be forced to evict him from the Guild.

Auguris would like to see he try- it is a statistical fact that not only is he the strongest adventurer here but he's likely the top earner, as well, at least when he feels like working.

Dorothy is breathing heavily, she throws her clipboard away and starts walking.

After she turns away, she hears Auguris ask what do you want from me, and then she looks back to see Coye has punched Auguris so hard the Mage flew against a table, breaking both it and his glasses.

Dorothy is shocked. So is the entire room. So is Shayla, who is reminding him this guy fucking killed the aberration they couldn't even hope of touching, but Coye isn't really fully here right now.

Auguris rises, spits out several bloody teeth and then comments on how surreal the taste of iron in his mouth is. He asks Coye to explain himself. Coye asks how dare he talk to Dorothy like that. Auguris is having trouble understanding what this situation has to do with him, then replaces his glasses with a spare. Dorothy marches up to Coye and tells him to let it be, everything is fine, and he snaps at her saying everything is not fine. She says she can handle this herself- and he's like for once why don't you be quiet and let someone help you instead of suffering in silence. “You always suffer in silence, so just stay quiet this time and let me help you.” -Coye, maybe

She's stunned and shrinks back a little bit.

it doesn't have anything to do with him, but he can't just sit here and watch people treat Dorothy like this and laugh at her. He declares everyone should be ashamed of themselves, but Auguris most of all.

Auguris asks what Coye wants to come from this little exchange that they're having, and Coye wants for him to stop disrespecting Dorothy and making her life harder than it already is.

Auguris makes a strange comment about how Coye has a decent punch. Still high on adrenaline, Coye asks if he wants another one. Auguris says yes, actually. He wants to see if Coye can do it again.

Coye is a little confused. Auguris says they'll go out back and he'll give Coye thirty minutes to attack him. Coye is like... why the fuck would I play this game with you?

Because if you manage another hit, I will allow the cleaning of my room and will cease further complaining to the GM. Coye asks what happens if he loses. 'Then I will make use of your fist.'

The guild is quiet, a few innapropriate laughs.

Tammy asks if he'd maybe like to try and rephrase that. He doesn't get it, but says in the future he may require a melee-oriented partner for certain quests and any attempts to find one have fallen flat. Auguris states he's been told he has an insufferable personality and although he personally can't see it, it crops up often enough to be a recurring problem.

Shayla wonders if maybe this guy isn't an actual asshole, but more of a huge idiot.

Coye turns to Dorothy and asks if she minds him accepting this challenge. She wants to tell him no, Auguris is way too strong for him, but she remembers being told to let him help her for once. She gives her permission, and the Guild goes crazy with anticipation.

The ones most stirred by this are the bitches. Coco's ears are perked, her eyes wide and tail wagging. Tiph perplexed- as if something was fundamentally wrong with the world. Marlie hard to read as ever but for once her attention is fully pried from the weapon she's inspecting and can't take them away from him.

Britni is most affected of all. She's blushing, slack jawed, heart pounding. She mutters to herself that it's happening again. He's doing it. He's so... cool.

Vs Auguris

(For the sake of the outline, I'm not going to add in everyone's reactions to things much. I assume in the actual text we'll get more in depth to Dorothy's thoughts and such. In addition, I thought of having Byng and Suzette present but I don't want to take away from the focus of this scene being about Dorothy and to a lesser extent Britni.)

The entire Cransmere Guild has assembled behind the building, a mage has erected bleachers to watch, Tammy is going around taking bets. Odds are colossally stacked against Coye. Dorothy is at some kind of seat of honor, but she looks like she's not here right now. Auguris is waiting for Coye, who needed to run home to fully prepare. He needed to deck himself out in his tools.

The bitches believe he's going to bail. Tiph in particular thinks this a fluke, a one off, and that people don't change. Marlie agrees, Coco is confused, but Britni is quietly certain that Coye will return.

As Coye gears up, he's talking things over with Shayla.

She doesn't know whether to be proud of him, scared, or both. He's gonna kill Coye, she thinks.

Coye doesn't care, he thinks even if he gets his ass beat then maybe it'll prove something to everyone. That Dorothy is worthy of respect. He isn't sure, but he needs to do this.

Shayla is like you really just want to punch him again, don't you?

Coye admits yes. He made him really, really mad and he's not used to being so mad. Shayla warns him that this is going to change everything. Now the whole guild won't overlook him. If he loses, people are probably going to tease him for the rest of his life.

Coye doesn't care, asks if he's getting her help or not. Shayla sighs and is like duh, I'm not gonna let you die over your crush. She asks for intel on what kind of mage Auguris is, Coye says Geomancer. He's some kind of rock scientist. Shayla assumes this means he'll be great at defense, Coye assumes so too.

This is gonna be an uphill battle, but both are ready. The two pound fists cutely, and Shayla docks herself in the cap. She expects him to get knocked around a lot, so she charms the cap to not fall off.

When Coye enters, there's all kinds of murmurs and whispers and even some laughs. He's covered head to toe in gadgets strapped to his bandolier, his belt, and some pouches he attached. he doesn't let it get to him- he walks up to Auguris and draws his sword, asks how he wants to do this. Mage flicks his wand, dirt rises and he turns it into an hourglass with earth magic.

Tells Coye that for 30 minutes, Coye will attack and Auguris will defend himself. It's as simple as that. Auguris threatens that he'll not be holding back, so don't ask for an apology later when his body is beaten and broken. Coye taunts back; same.

Britni internally fawns over his cool one-line.

Auguris tells him to take 30 paces away so they start with some distance. Coye does, and Tammy takes it on herself to announce the battle has begun.

Coye runs forward but immediately an angled pillar of solid dirt comes out and knocks him on his ass after hitting his face. There's silence, then laughter. Coye remembers how everyone used to laugh at him like this, but he reminds himself he's changed. He hops back up and Auguris begins repeating the process with a bunch of pillars, Coye actually dodging them ahead of time and correctly predicting where the next one is going to come from.

He stands atop the rising pillar and uses it to jump toward Auguris, who is still unimpressed and creates a spiked wall. Coye quickly pulls out his block rod and summons one in front of him in midair, pulling himself up and jumping down with a down slash.

Persistent, aren't you? The spiked shield turns to a hand, grabs Coye and throws him.

Although Coye is hurt and on the ground, this time, no one is laughing. Shayla peps him up with a jolt of her magic, a new technique they'd been working on. With a little zap, it gets him going just a little bit faster.

Coye pulls a curved dagger from his pouch and throws it after dodging an oncoming blast of small heated rocks that explode. Shayla keeps the debris clear of him- something Auguris notes as odd when he dodges the dagger.

Something about Coye's reaction tell him there was more to the attack, and he hears a faint clicking noise, and then whirring. Mid flight the dagger became a boomerang and was on its way back. Auguris crushes it, then swats Coye's latest advance away by turning the ground into a sinkhole.

Coye pulls out grabshot, hooks it to a tree to pull him out. The audience is stunned at how many tricks Coye has up his sleeve, and something surprising happens. Someone from the audience cheers him on- a knight by the name of Orlandis who's been mentioned like twice before.

This small call out turns into a more raucous cheer once Coye dashes forward again. Auguris creates three turrets that fire projectiles at Coye, he throws out a flat disk the size of a small dinner plate at each one. He bought these on sale once at Dorothy's behest. They're good for reflecting magic but he'd never had a chance to use them since he doesn't fight Mages that often, and they break after one use.

Still good enough, as they reflect the projectiles back at the turrets which explode.

Auguris is impressed now, but asks when Coye plans to give up. Coye is crafty, but if he's planning to try and stall this out until he runs out of mana he tells Coye to think again.

His wand is one he crafted himself which grants a bonus to earth spells, and he hasn't used a single voiced incantation this entire battle. His mana is still nearly full. The crowd grows quiet when they realize how strong Auguris must actually be.

Coye is adamant that he's gonna do it, he still has fifteen minutes left. Coye rushes forward again, gets knocked back, Auguris asks if that's all the tricks he knows.

He notices something blinking on the ground and there's a weird mouse-shaped automaton approaching him. He wonders when Coye threw it. As it approaches, it starts to blink red and Auguris surmises it's a bomb. He creates a wall and derides the cheap attempt, only for the bomb to change directions and crawl around the wall.

Auguris creates a circular barrier around it and crushes it, there's no explosion because no oxygen. He then notices Coye has disappeared and goes wide eyed as he hears the swinging of a sword coming from behind his back. With Quick step + Shayla's wind on his back, he strikes.

Coye lands a hit. The crowd goes fucking wild- until it's revealed to not be the case.

That overcoat of his turned partially into stone, stopping Coye's sword.

In Coye's confusion, Auguris's sleeve wraps around his fist and turns into a stone gauntlet which he uses to punch Coye in the face. His nose breaks and the crowd is stunned. Dorothy shouts out for him and tries to help, but Coye tells her to stay back this isn't done.

Auguris reveals that unlike many other mages, he is more than equipped to handle close combat scenarios. He has a minor rant about how to graduate from the Magicademy of Mithimere, one must create an artifact or spell that no one else has ever devised. This coat of his was his graduation project, meant to provide safety when harvesting minerals from dangerous places but just as useful in for adventuring purposes.

He tells Coye that there's no chance a sword of his level will be able to break past his armor of condensed carbon- and then he manifests a whole ass suit of it even guarding his face. No blind spots.

The crowd is silent for a moment until someone stands up, a Halfling rogue by the name of Tansy, who starts booing saying this is basically cheating. Everyone agrees and a few people even throw good at Auguris and call him a dickhead etc.

Be that as it may, he tells Coye he can give up now and spare himself the humilation of being beaten down. Coye rises and focuses a ton of his energy into the art Blunt Edge to effectively make his sword into a dense hammer- asks if Auguris is done talking or what.

Sees that Coye has abandoned his tricks and taunts him. Coye claims that he isn't the smartest, and sometimes this is the only way he knows how to solve problems. Shayla doesn't support this, but Coye mumbles to her asking her to keep pepping him up no matter how many times he falls. She calls him insane, but he darts forward and triple stikes the armor- no dent. Coye gets punched so hard that bones break even despite his Steel Skin art.

The audience gasps as they hear the gross sounds, but Shayla peps him up against her wishes and he rises again, does the same thing. Auguris calls him a fool, breaks more bones, Coye keeps coming back and triple striking until he can't even feel his arm. Shayla can't heal injuries of this magnitude, so he switches to his left arm and starts triple striking with it.

After a point, Auguris is uninterested in hitting back. Coye is no use to him dead, and he's already proved his point. Auguris will try to reign in his personality and act professionally toward Dorothy, but Coye is still hammering away with numb arms. In the end he asks what is he trying to prove.

Coye says this is for Dorothy, and for himself as well. 'The old Coye would've never standed up to someone like you before, he would've hung his head and let Dorothy get walked all over, but I'm not him anymore. I'll knock down assholes like you even if it kills me.'

Dorothy shouts at Auguris to knock him out or something already so they can heal him- and the Guild's doctor- Eschel- stands up from the crowd. he's a shady ass back alley looking fuck and comments about what a payday this is going to be.

Shayla is crying for Coye to stop- hitting his head over and over again and threatening to finally give him a Pixie bite, but something happens. A spark connects the two, and Shayla can hear Coye's thoughts.

One more. He says as he grabs sword in both broken arms. He wishes he had the energy to ask Shayla for that luck power of hers, thinking maybe it would cause a crack in the carbon armor. Shayla against everything chooses to believe in Coye, and she activates luck magic as he strikes. A crack does indeed form, and the crowd is stunned, but it doesn't fully fracture it.

There's only seconds left. Shayla tells him he did his best, but the fire hasn't died down yet.

He says just a little bit more, and Shayla feels something insane happening. Most of her magic is out, but she feels some of it being sapped by Coye as he strikes and somehow casts luck probability on his own.

The helmet piece of Auguris’s armor cracks at the slash, revealing his exposed face.

With seconds left on the clock, Coye pulls his sword hand back and slams it into Auguris’s face, breaking his nose to match.

Auguris is hit and falls to the ground, but the pain causes Coye’s cracked sword to fly from his mangled fist into the crowd.

The crowd stares in complete stun, before Coye addresses them all. ‘Nobody else better fuck with Dorothy, alright?’ he asks and raises his fist, which gets a big cheer from them.

A lot of the adventurers try and swarm him and celebrate, but Britni blocks them all off and says he's hurt you idiots, fuck off. She carries him carefully off to the sickroom with Eschel, and the entire crowd is still still cheering even as he gets carried away.

We get snippets of them saying shit like 'never knew he was that badass' 'thought he was just some pretty little twink' 'doesn't he have like two girlfriends? I wonder if there's room for anymore...'

We pan to the 3 bitches and each of them is reacting to this differently. Coco is straight up in heat. Her little mind can't comprehend this. Coye isn't a beta, he's an alpha- the alpha-est alpha, makes Britni look like a beta. Coye's supposed to be gross, Britni wants me to be mean to him and bully him, now what do I do?!

Tiph shows a hint of her true colors for the first time and she derides Coco, saying she didn't really fall for that cool guy routine, did she? Stupid ass mutt. People don't change. There was something up with today- he had to have cheated somehow. Scientifically speaking there was no way he should've broken through that armor. Tiph says he's still the same pathetic runt he's always been deep down.

Marlie stands up and tells Tiph that just because Tiph is a shallow, cynical bitch unable to see the good in people doesn't mean that Coye hasn't changed. Tiph asks where the fuck Marlie thinks she's going, Marlie says that sword of his is in rough shape and someone needs to fix it up for him. After that, she plans on having a little chat with the weapon. (Readers won't really get this at, but it's a setup for Marlie gaining feelings for Coye. Her demon powers revolve around weapons and she can literally talk to weapons, so after this she's going to be really cagey around Coye from now on because during her conversation the sword couldn't stop talking about how amazing Coye is. Additionally, Marlie is going to know in advance about Shayla's existence but will keep it to herself.)

Tiph makes a bitter expression before we cut to Dorothy.

She's sitting at the seat of honor, stunned and so mentally exhausted that she hasn't gotten up yet. Given that this whole thing started over her at the first place, the crowd looks at her once the excitement has gone down. A couple of adventurers go up to her and apologize for treating her bad. Then, some of her employees do.

Dorothy is crying, still unsure why any of this is even happening. Tammy takes the initiative to grab her hand and says we really need to stop making a habit of this. Dorothy - ?

Tammy says she needs to go and see Coye, and Dorothy snaps out of it a tiny bit. She gets up and runs after Coye, Tammy following close behind.

At the doctors

In the sickroom, Suzette, Byng (who is wearing Coye's hat with Shayla under it), Dorothy and Tammy and even Britni and Coco are all waiting as Eschel heals Coye. Suzette is like an overprotective karen, demanding a better doctor than the shady guy they have here, but after she heard his credentials it put concerns to rest.

After Eschel is done, he tells them all the bill and they're shocked. Coye doesn't have AoA health care and healing potions aren't gonna cut it. Tammy steps forward and says she'll pay, since she'd never had entertainment like that before in her life.

Someone asks how she plans on doing that. A; she ran bets and almost no one bet on Coye. She made fucking bank today. B; Tammy is rich in the first place. Reveals her last name is Rheingald, Suzette is like as in House Rheingald?! You can see her merchant senses tingling- eager to make connections.

Eschel says he'll see Tammy about the money later then, and they ask when Coye will wake up.

Coye starts screaming in pain, Eschel says now. Suzette freaks out and asks what's wrong with him. That much healing magic puts a strain on the body in such rapid succession- white magic or not. Someone suggests they give Coye something for the pain, Eschel says that costs extra.

Someone points out how they thought only selfless people could use white magic. Eschel clarifies specifically it's the 'pure of heart'. His desire to help people is equally as pure as his desire to make fat stacks of coin. 'We're exceptions, but we do exist.'

Everyone looks to Tammy, who gives the thumbs up and says 'Get that femboy high as fuck' or something.

Coye is given a potion and acts like he's high on morphine- how this is the best thing ever. Eschel's job is done so he leaves to go get a drink.

Suzette tries to get Coye to admit what he was thinking, but Britni speaks up about how he was doing the right thing and being a man. Suzette adresses Britni like who are you and why are you here, Coco growls to defend Britni. Dorothy says the room is a little cramped and that while their sentiments are nice, she thinks Britni and Coco should leave because of their history with Coye.

Britni says that's bullshit, points out that Byng has a history of harrassing him too, but Byng counters yeah but I'm his woman now so join the club or fuck off. Britni almost dies of embarrassment before demanding Coco take off with her, and they storm out of the room. Tammy takes off, too, wanting to give them some privacy. As they go, she whispers she'll put Britni's winnings in her account later on, revealing that Britni bet on Coye.

Coye comically calls after Coco for her to wait before she goes and she comes over. Coye asks if he can hug her tail, it's so fluffy. Everyone reacts embarrassed, especially Coco, but she surprisingly allows him to do so just once. He does and she burns red, once he starts to nuzzle his face in it she declares time to go and leaves, Britni glaring daggers at her as they go.

Now alone, Dorothy chastises Coye and says he broke all kinds of rules and regulations, their battle wrecked the Guild landscape, and for what? Dorothy insists she would've been fine. She's used to being treated like that- could've bottled it up. It's her job. So why?

She leans over the bed, crying. She asks what did I do to deserve such a good friend like you, and how can she ever repay him?

Byng mumbles 'friend? really?' Shayla tells Byng to give it time.

Coye sits up and hugs Dorothy. Her mind is overwhelmed by rules and regulations, code of conduct, sexual harassment lawsuits, but her heart forces her to hug him back.

Something clicks for her and she realizes why she was so upset about Coye not living in the Guild anymore. We don't hear what she thinks the reason is, but morphine Coye ruins the moment by sniffing her hair and telling Dorothy it smells really nice.

Absurd as it is, she laughs and cries, saying she hasn't washed it in like a week.

Shayla gasps as she senses strong emotions coming from Dorothy. She's a little conflicted, but even the Pixie can't help but feel good for Dorothy.

Dorothy thinks to herself how she wonders at what point it was that she fell in love with her favorite employee.

It's confusing and she has no idea if she can even pursue anything with him, but for now, she was simply content to let him hug and sniff her hair like a weirdo.

Britni, Coco and Tiph

That night, we cut to a surprise Britni sex scene. She is not as untouched as the fresh snow, and she's laying on her back getting fucked. She does a lot of dirty talk that sounds suspicious, it's mentioned she rough handles a leash.

She's getting close, ends up calling Coye's name, and we see that it's a disgruntled Coco fucking Britni with a strap on.

Britni tells her good girl, and Coco asks when it's gonna be her turn to get fucked with the strap on. Britni says sorry puppy I don't feel like it tonight. Graciously offers to finger her, and Coco is like gee thanks.

We get some context on the scene. So as not to bother Tiph and Marlie, these two often rent out a cheap inn room in town when they feel like going at it, and today there was no chance she could hold in her desires.

She keeps thinking of Coye, beaten and broken but still fighting on and on, and her heart races. That was what she was waiting for- what she wanted all this time. For him to be like that again. All the bullying? Just to make him snap.

Now she knows that 'what happened' wasn't a one time thing, and she doesn't have to be ashamed of her attraction to him anymore. We don't get clarification on why she'd be ashamed.

Still disregarding Coco's feelings, Britni grabs her by the hair and lowers her head towards her pussy and is about to force Coco to go down on her.

There's a knock on the door. Tiph asks if you two sluts are decent. Britni jokes we went to the sex motel, what the fuck do you think?

Tiph says she's coming in anyway, picks the locked door. Jokes about how she's treating Coco like usual, Coco is silent on the matter. Britni asks if she's come to join in, Tiph laughs that she is so not drunk enough for that. Open offer.

Well if not here to fuck, then what does she want?

Tiph wants to know if Britni is gonna make a move on Coye now that he's proven himself to be 'exactly the sort of man your family would approve of'. Britni tries to make it sound like it's not like that, but Tiph ignores her protests.

Britni tries to deny her interest in him even if he's a little cooler than he used to be. Coco reveals to Tiph she's been making me fuck her with the strapon for hours while moaning Coye's name. Tiph raises an eyebrow.

Britni - You fucking bitch! You want the strap on?! Fine, but it's going so far up your ass-

Coco - THAT HOLE IS NOT FOR BREEDING!

Tiph is losing her patience. Asks Britni to make her intentions clear once and for all, does she like him or not.

Well, I don't hate him...

Tiph asks would she still like him even if today was just a fluke and he really was still just a pathetic loser down below.

Britni thinks about it but is unsure why Tiph is asking.

Because if Britni isn't gonna do make a move, then then Tiph will. Brit and Coco are both shocked to hear she likes him.

Tiph lies, saying something like that. But internally she's thinking dark and bitter thoughts still focused around on how people can't change who they are, and how someone has to prove it even if she has to get her hands a little dirty.

Tiph leaves, telling her she gave Brit fair warning so now she can't claim she ruined their friendship by stealing her man.

Brit tries to get her to wait, but she storms off. Tiph thinks about the battle today and how it went, and she's just filled with so much annoyance that she can hardly contain it.

After a deep breath, she sighs, keeps walking away, but we hear from across the hall- STOP, STOP! COCO SAID ITS NOT FOR BRE- AHHH!

Epilogue

The next day, Coye is in his bed at home being tended to by Suzette, Shayla and Byng. Byng is giving him a casual blowjob at the start of the scene, and we open near his orgasm. He thanks her, she says you act like a hero you get treated like one.

He still hurts, but it's a lot more manageable. Despite everything, he's almost feeling a little smug about how cool he was.

Byng is annoyed she didn't get to see it, Suzette is glad she didn't. She would've killed the man responsible right then any there. Shayla warns her not to mask off, and then there's a knock at the door. Shayla hides, Byng gets up and says it’s a good thing I swallowed.

Coye asks Suzette if she would get it, and he hopes its Dorothy. Now that he's lucid he wants to apologize for putting her on the spot like that, but when Suzette opens the door, it's the man responsible.

Auguris asks if he was informed correctly that this is where Coye lives, then barges in. Byng informs Suzette that this is his opponent yesterday and she starts to shake. She says its so kind of him to visit and she offers to brew Auguris a VERY special cup of tea- obviously the last he'll ever have. Byng gets up to chill Suzette out.

Auguris congratulates Coye and insists he has no hard feelings- he brings him a present in a box. It's a rock- one of his favorites. Coye is abrupt, saying there won't be any hard feelings on his end so long as he never causes Dorothy trouble again. Auguris insists he's a man of his word. He admits he's here today to inquire about Coye's interest in potentially working together in the future anyway, despite how Auguris lost.

Suzette vibrates with anger, Byng says you break every bone in his body and then ask if he wants to party up?

Coye surprises everyone by saying he'd be interested, yeah.

Auguris is like excellent, Suzette tries to talk him out of it or at least get some sense of why, and he explains that Auguris is gold rank. If they teamed up, Coye could go on Gold rank quests and get stronger and earn even more money, as well as credit towards becoming a gold rank himself.

Byng is like hey not a bad idea, but Suzette can't fathom how these superhumans think. Coye nearly died and the next day he's like sign me up for even more of that, yes please.

Auguris turns to Suzette and promises he will keep her son safe when adventuring together. That's just about the last straw, and she corrects him that she's his lover. Shayla jokes how it's a thin line sometimes. Auguris apologizes and admits he is completely tonedeaf at reading social cues.

Coye wants to know why someone as strong as Auguris needs a partner though, and in typical blunt fashion he reveals he is remarkably lazy with things that don't catch his interest and that he would prefer to have someone around to perform more menial tasks that he can't be bothered with.

Coye says fair enough and extends his hand. Auguris is autistic about it before Byng clues him in that Coye wants a handshake, to which he's like ah yes, that whole ritual of camaraderie and such. He then gives him one, and it's the most awkward handshake Coye has ever received.

Auguris then departs, Suzette bids him not to come back with a smile on her face.

Shayla comes out and asks if he's sure about this, and Coye is. He's seen how high the bar is for Gold rank adventurers now, and he reveals that he's even further from his dad's level than he thought.

Shayla tells him not to rush things for her sake, and that there's something she needs to tell him about getting stronger. Asks if he remembers at the end of the battle- but they get cut off by another knock at the door. Shayla is annoyed but she hides

Suzette goes mask off and throws open the door, screaming she told him not to come back- but it's Marlie. She is ashamed and apologizes, but Coye is confused about why she's here. She summons his sword using her arsenal magic and puts it on the table. Says she fixed it up for him or whatever.

Coye realizes in all the confusion he hasn't really questioned where his sword went and thanks her. He says weapons are your thing, right?

She says yes, they're my 'thing'.

It's awkward for a moment, but then Marlie ducks out soon enough saying good luck with the recovery and all. He thanks her in that cute femboy way of his, and if it weren't for her facemask Coye would almost be certain Marlie was blushing.

That was weird.

Coye asks Shayla what she was going to say, and she brushes it off for now as too much to soon. We'll talk about it later.

That's good, cause Coye was getting tired. Suzette suggests a nap, and Byng agrees he shouldn't be pushing it right now.

He's all smiles and in this vulnerable state, he tells the three of them that he loves them. They're all taken aback, but Coye apologizes if he made it weird even though it hasn't even been that long since they got together. But it's really how he feels and he doesn't see a point in not saying the l-word.

Suzette tries to stop what is coming- Byng, no, don't- but she runs and tackles him on the bed saying it took him long enough and she loves him too. Suzette tries to be more mature about it when she says it back, but fails and does the acting like a young maiden routine.

All attention turns to Shayla and she's like are you serious, not this shit again. They wait for her to say it, but she's bad at these kind of emotions. She finally succumbs to pressure from mostly Byng and admits she loves Coye, so hurry the fuck up and get better, alright? It's boring sitting around doing nothing and she wants to get back to where the fun is at.

We end on a loving little family moment, a stereotypical end of anime freezeframe sort of deal. All is well.
