TGI July 2026 Host Special - Jocelyn - Telltale Games (Patreon)

For this month’s Innside Stories, we're looking at the people behind Telltale Games. This is a story about the passion that helped create some unforgettable games, the crunch and impossible pace that followed, and how a studio that seemed unstoppable suddenly... Stopped.

Telltale Games went from a small studio fighting to keep adventure games alive to one of the biggest names in storytelling almost overnight. The Walking Dead changed everything, but success brought more games, more licenses, tighter deadlines, and expectations that never seemed to stop growing. Find out what happened, and how the people behind the company continue to influence the industry today.

Each month, we alternate posting a Host Special, focusing on personal experiences, our favourite games, or just stories that peaked our interest. We wanted to provide some bonus content for our Patrons, so the Monthly Host Special is exclusive to Patrons of The Gamers’ Inn. Thank you for the support, and we hope you enjoy listening as much as we enjoyed putting this together.

Thank you for your support and happy gaming!
