Hello everyone! First, I want to say how shocked I am to see that I have over 100 paid memberships on here! It's crazy! I never thought I would reach triple digits in my sub count! I sincerely thank all of you for the incredible support!

I have a lot to talk about here, so I'm just warning you now!

Now, onto business! Many of my readers may notice a lack of updates from some of my older series. Well, there are a few reasons for that.

First, I wanted to share the idea I have for my new series that I've been cooking up! 'My Days At Mythical Academy' is a fantasy/romance/harem about a young boy who is the first to attend a school exclusively made for mythical creatures. Obviously, with it being a harem comic, a few girls take notice of him and start falling for him! It's inspired by 'Nisekoi', a really fun harem series, and 'Interviews with Monster Girls', which was a very wholesome series.

I've wanted to create a harem series for a long time, but I could never figure out how to start it or what it would be about. But, I believe this is a solid premise and starting point for a story like this!

Let me explain why I'm making this and not continuing some of my old series for now. The biggest issue for me personally was how poorly my comics have performed on Webtoon. Hero X Demon Queen, which has over 1800 subs, only got 15 likes and 2 comments from readers in the latest update. The lack of engagement is depressing. Webtoon has always been awful for me and made me feel so bad as a comic maker.

That's why, when I started making 10 Meters Tall, posting it to other platforms and seeing my audience blow up, it made me extremely happy! It's given me more confidence as a comic maker, and I feel like starting up a brand new series now!

Of course, 10 Meters Tall will continue to update. That's my main priority, and I will work on this series alongside it! Paid members will get to see the character designs early and see a preview of the series! I see myself continuing to update this series since I've always wanted to make my own harem romance (and it will be great for more NSFW art too!)

The basic story of the comic sounds to me like a standard manga/anime. The premise with the harem and the aspect of mythical creatures, where some of the girls fall in love with the protagonist. As I said, it sounds like a standard comic. I'm not saying I think that's bad. On the contrary, it may be standard in quotation marks, but I always enjoy reading or watching such anime or manga. Such manga/anime may only have a standard concept, but it's the individual characters and the story that can make them feel different and stand out from others with the same concept. I will definitely watch the series because I want to know how it is designed, the characters, and the actual story. I'm looking forward to it.

It may be a standard setup and a basic start for a harem-type series, but as you said, it's the characters and the writing that sell the story. My characters have flaws, ambitions and character arcs. They don't just fall in love with the MC, and that's it. I plan to develop the characters and add more depth and meaning to their actions. Of course, with the standard romance/harem tropes that you either love or hate! 😅

Hey man, don't let the lack of engagement drag you down! There are plenty of stories I read where I don't comment, and I genuinely forget about the like button. Even if your stories don't get much response, always remember you still have dedicated fans of your work! You have plenty of stories I'd love to see continue, plus some you've announced but have yet to really do anything with. Obviously I'm looking forward to your new story. I enjoy harem anime, and I love monster girls, and fantasy in general. But just remember that even if you don't blow up in popularity, you still have a few who love reading your stories and seeing your work.

I know, and I appreciate every single reader, whether long-term readers or new ones! Sometimes the engagement can get me down, but then I remember the most important thing for me is to have fun with what I make! That's why I think I'll stick with this because I love harem anime, and of course, I love drawing cute girl characters (and the girls here are very cute!)
