Now, I thought it would be fun to chat about something that is very topical right now— Halloween!! 🎃 What do you like to do during Halloween? While I do like Halloween, I’m a bit of scaredy cat so I just enjoy the treats rather than the tricks 🤭 I just eat as much chocolate and sweets as I can and watch a fantasy film, not sure what I’m going to watch yet though!

I don’t celebrate Halloween much but I enjoy most of the classic famous movies that are popular on Halloween such as Hocus Pocus, Bettlejuice, Goosebumps the series(the old one), and The Nightmare Before Christmas. Other times, I enjoy watching YouTubers play horror games and react to analog horror videos.

Ophelia, we should be thanking you for making such lovely audios for us all. I don’t know how I’d be able to sleep and relax at night without listening to your audios. 🥰 As for what I do during Halloween, my family never used to do it as my dad didn’t like the idea of getting up from watching TV just to give candy to kids he’s never met, he’d much rather sit and keep all the sweets to himself 🤣 But when me and my family moved to a bigger and better neighbourhood when I was about twelve me and my sibling thought “look, we’re old enough and the neighbourhood we’re in is bigger and easier to network. Let’s go trick or treating” and so Halloween 2012, when I was twelve years old, was my first Halloween. And now my dad can’t get enough of it. We made a deal that any sweets that don’t get handed out get shared out between us all at the end of the night and of course my dad looks forward to that the most. 😅🍬🍭🎃 Of course I’m 24 now and am too old to trick or treat so I just stay inside, dress up, put on a scary movie or an old episode of Doctor Who and hand out sweets to all the kids that ring on our doorbell while also eating my own little bowl of sweets and drinking very nice, autumnal, tasty ale which I find matches the season completely. So yeah that’s what Halloween is like in Big Bear’s cave. 🍬🍫🍺🐻

I’m the exact same as you Miss Ophelia! I have never really liked Halloween because I would get scared easily as a child, I thought I was tough I wasn’t. 😅 I did enjoy the trick or treating though, because of all the delicious candy. 😋 But now as an adult it’s just not my thing. I don’t get scared super often and I personally don’t like getting scared anyway. I’ve had enough of getting scared to last the rest of my life, like I’m good I don’t need it lol 😂. Plus most of the time I’m busy anyways, especially with work. So, it’s like there is no point in me really celebrating it in my opinion. I know I’m working on Halloween this year so I hope you and everyone else enjoys it for me! 😊 But I do ask for one favor of you Miss Ophelia, (and anyone else who want to do this) could you have some of your favorite chocolate for me? Because I know I’m not really going to enjoy work 😅 but knowing that you (and who ever decides to do this,) would be enjoying your favorite chocolate would bring such a big smile to my face, it would truly make my day! 😁 Aside from the Halloween shenanigans I should thank you! ☺️ (even though I wish there was a different way I could express it because I feel really repetitive. 😅) You have been nothing but a safe haven for me and this entire community! I mean this with no exaggeration at all when I say this but when I listen to your audios it’s what I imagine what heaven is like! 🥹 my racing thoughts stop, my heart slows, anxiety gone, depression gone, worries gone! I’m just in the present moment, I’m at peace, I’m content, I’m safe! 😭 I’m not joking when I say you have healing powers, you heal me, I don’t know how to describe it but you just do 🙈. Whatever life throws at me I know I can handle, I just have to listen to one of your audios and I’ll be back and ready for more.
