Taranis has a habit of…. punching before asking questions. and by then the person is most likely too mutilated to properly respond to Their questions! So it’s not uncommon to find Them conversing with Death every now and then as a form of “second opinion” to make sure He doesn’t end up accidentally causing a Ragnarok-like event!

Unbeknownst to everyone (aside from Mayura Herself) Taranis is a quite manipulative persona. In which He carefully crafted these dynamics brick by brick! Malor appears before Him every two years or so for council before disappearing off to Their Realm for Mortal duties. So, of course, He ensures every visit is worth the sudden sacrifice of not beating the life out of some unfortunate godling.
