Full Length Reaction Guide

We take copyright law very seriously, so you will have to sync up our reaction to your own version of the show/movie. To help, we have a range of guiding tools throughout the reaction to help you sync up with us, including a small snippet of the scene to ensure you are in sync.  Any instances in which you see the screen cut, this means we’ve had technical difficulties or have skipped a potential disruptions/bloopers. This means you will need to sync up your copy of the show again, if we are unable to edit these cuts seamlessly into the next scene. An updated timecode will be provided on the screen.  Anytime we pause, there will be timer/countdown on screen to prompt you. So if we’re about to pause, there’ll be a countdown, and you are expected to pause as the number reaches 0. The same will happen when we press play after pausing. You will press play as the number reaches 0.  Here are some popular ways people sync up the reaction with their own copy of the show:

  • Use a dual monitor PC setup to watch both screens simultaneously

  • Use the split screen functions on your computer/phone to watch them side by side

  • Chromecast / Screenshare one screen to your TV while watching the other screen on a phone or laptop

  • HDMI your laptop / tablet to the TV and use the TV as a 2nd monitor (not mirror display)

  • Use your Smart TV or Gaming console to play the YouTube reaction and your Phone/Laptop to play the show (or other way around)

  • Use Google chromes picture in picture mode to overlay your own copy of the show over our reaction in a smaller window size (Link to the extension here: ( https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/picture-in-picture-extens/hkgfoiooedgoejojocmhlaklaeopbecg?hl=en )

We hope you enjoy the video!

And the day just got better 😂

Steven Enderley

This just made my Thursday evening. Only thing that could make it better would be a Spartan ME3 stream.

Paul

One of the most underrated spectacles of a movie ever, imo. Just pure unabashed fun

MrGuy3000

I forgot how long this fucking movie was💀

Brady Renfro

Let’s go! This was my favorite of the franchise!

calum1

LETS GOOOO

Corey Nixon

One of my favourite movies of all time its a masterpiece!

Sam Roath

It would be quite remarkable if the Loch Ness Monster was found in the Caribbean Sea. A creature that lives in Loch Ness in Scotland 🤣

Ricky

I'd like to say that while the next movies are not as great as the trilogy, I thoroughly enjoyed At Strangers Tide (Pirates 4), and I hope you guys at least enjoy that one 😀

Oliver

Cant wait to move on from pirates🥳🤩

Sonicluis

The next movie gets to much hate, I enjoyed it way more than the first one.

Belly p.

the other movies aren’t worth watching tbh

calum1

Idk man i think the next two movies get a lot of hate for no reason, they’re not perfect movies but for sure are not as terrible as people say they are. I actually kind of like the fourth film, and although the 5th film is probably the weakest, i think javier bardems captain salazar is one of the most menacing villains in the franchise

Slow Shadow

Movie 5 i dont really care about. I kinda was disappointed by it. But i hope you watch the Fourth movie. I really enjoyed that one. It kinda feels like a epilogue and ties in with the end of this one.

Mod Message: Please don't reveal characters, villains or content of the movies they have not seen. This is a BLIND REACTION CHANNEL. They can't go in blind if people are telling them major things in advance. Please try to avoid setting strong expectations for unwatched content. Thank you!

Ailene Evangelista

This movie is so good! The big fight sequence at the end was epic, especially the way it was filmed was pure cinema. Kudos to Gore Verbinski! I haven't watched 4 & 5 but I kinda want to now the trilogy is fresh in my memory. Orlando Bloom was always one of early 2000s crush after these movies, I get you Pudgey lol.

SuddenImpulse

Very excited to watch this with you two shortly!

Sam Roath

The 4th film is underrated. I'd love to see a reaction

Nate Terry

Bill Nighy as Davy Jones. loved his acting. if you havent watched, the Underworld movie series would be fun to watch. Badass Vampires and werewolves(minus the teenage romance lol)

Ebony

I hope you guys watch the other two !!! pleeeeeease

Veilsix

Genuinely expect you guys will enjoy 4&5 seeing how thoroughly you enjoyed all 3 of the main trilogy. It’s more Jack being Jack, plenty of new and old characters, more seafaring legends brought to life and all of it told with the same storytelling quality and humor and action and borderline sea scaries. And plenty of double dealing, backstabbing & surprises you won’t expect to be had.

Alex

Great reaction again I knew you would love these movies they're just so much fun. The fight at the end of this one was just epic this movie is a close second to the first film for me and the second is great too. I wouldn't mind you guys watching pirates 4 and 5 to finish the franchise.

Farbod

So Captain Teague, the keeper of the Code and the father of Jack Sparrow, is played by Roiling Stone's guitarist Keith Richards. This is a nod to Johnny Depp saying that his portrayal of Jack Sparrow was inspired by Richards in real life.

Adrian

i would love for you to react to the bloopers and the deleted scenes in an extra content video

Jamiefishing7

Next two are still well worth a watch. I particularly loved the 5th one. Went to see it in 4dx and got soaked it was amazing. Probably my best 4dx experience. Loved the story too. Sooo much you guys still don't know and would love to find out about this world imo.

JonSnow21

Really enjoyed the trilogy tho I think the 4th is ok at best , I don’t think 4 or 5 are reaction worthy.

Eve

Really really enjoyed rewatching these with you guys! A little funfact about the soundtrack that not many people know: the theme is very similar to Gladiator. A student of Hans Zimmer, Klaus Badelt, was tasked with to do the theme for the first movie and had like 2 months to do it because Hans was working for The Last Samurai. Klaus took elements from the soundtrack of Gladiator (example: 'The Battle') and Hans was okay with it. Thats why certain parts sound really similar. Hans still gave Klaus credits for the song, and elevated it in the rest of the movies :)

That’s pretty cool, never knew. It’s one of my favorite soundtracks.

Steffen Eide

Not sure if everyone gets this, but the maelstrom is started by Calypso. Davy Jones runs straight into it, believing she won't harm him. And Barbossa believes she sides with the Pearl. Both sides think Calypso will protect them, I think? The plot is a little messy sometimes.

Boaty Zooka

you need to watch the last one as well. I mean watch them all sure but watch the last one, please!

Pablo
>>133839972

You are right. The reason they both go in is because they both think calypso is on their side

AlrightThere

I'm a little late to comment this but the sound track for these movies was done by Hans Zimmer who also has made some incredible movie tracks in his time. If you get a chance I'd highly recommend listening to him playing Pirates of the Caribbean soundtrack live on youtube. It really is incredible and something to behold.

Heida

I recommend watching 4 and 5 to find out for yourself if you like them or not. People can just skip those reactions. There are a lot of reactions I don't watch because I'm not interested in those movies/shows so sometimes I have to wait for weeks/months for what I'm interested in. People will survive waiting two weeks ONE TIME. I don't think it's fair to skip movies that quite a lot of the people want because more people don't. I respect wanting your subscribers opinions and giving people what they want but you do a LOT of movies/shows and it's literally impossible that everyone is interested in all of them. But that's the beauty of it, the versatility. It's a little something for everyone. At least watch them on your own. Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley are unfortunately not in them but I personally enjoy both. Penélope Cruz and Sam Claflin (Finnick in The Hunger Games) are in 4 and Javier Bardem is in 5. There was some forshadowing of Tia Dalma being Calypso in Dead Man's Chest. When the crew is at her hut there is a necklace on the table when Jack is stealing a ring. The picture on the necklace is the same image on the music box on Davy Jones's pipe organ. Furthermore, when Tia tells the tale of how Davy Jones fell in love with a woman, Gibbs says that he heard a different version of the tale in which Jones fell in love with the sea. She then says that they are two versions of the same story and both are true. Keith Richards from The Rolling Stones plays Jack's father. He was Johnny Depp's main inspiration for his character. He was actually set to appear in the previous film but had to pull out due to his commitment with the band's tour. Fun fact: The sword Davy Jones stabs Will with is the sword Will made for James Norrington in Curse of the Black Pearl. Speaking of, James is such an underrated character. He was complex but a good man and he genuinely loved Elizabeth.

Do you work for them or something? Why are you talking on their behalf? I'm not gonna do anything unless S&P tell me themselves that they don't want to know.

The deleted scenes of Pirates 3 are S-Tier. A shame they cut it out
