SO satisfying when el broke angel's nose that b- deserved it 😝

Abrielle Wright

Satanic panic was huge in the 80s especially in smaller southern towns. Metal bands and games like D&D were huge targets.

Abrielle Wright

It's so strange to me that people think what El did to Angela was okay. Yes, Angela is awful but you don't teach kids to handle bullying with violence 🤨 She literally could've killed her hitting her that hard with a skate.

Becca

I feel like there is some kind of commentary on society that y’all have heard of Ted Bundy, but not Chernobyl, haha. 😁

Jackamoo

In all fairness, El is used to literally actually killing people. She didn’t know how to deal with Angela, who was tormenting her in a way she’d never experienced before.

Vladimir Martirosyan

When the old lady was yelling at Enzo in the phonebooth and she called him a "moosor", the word itself wasn't usually used by regular people back then but by criminals and was considered prison slang. So yeah, gangster granny, just a funny detail :D

Carrie Smith

Go ahead and gloat, Pudgey! You deserve it! Ignore Spartan's eye rolls. Ironic when he's right about something he expects everyone to kneel in submission to House Spartan. 😁 Good eye on spotting A man has No Name, lol. That took me a couple episodes but it had been a few years since GoT ended when I saw it for the first time.

Reginald

I agree spartan! I love hop but the writers HIGH KEY are too scared to let him go. HOW IN THE FRACK DID THOSE RUSSIANS GET DISINTEGRATED BUT HOP JUST HOPPED OVER A RAILING AND HES FINE???? Make it make sense The writers probably felt the viewership will go down if hop isnt there or something

Reginald

Like they always want to introduce new characters and then kill them just after introduction instead of Killing the main cast…the people who should always be safe is the 4 boys and el. Everyone else should be at risk

DominaZeta

So happy Pudgey recognized the actor who played Jaqen H'ghar immediately!!! (‘A Man’ would be pleased.) FYI: that character is not actually named Enzo; it’s a code name from the restaurant date.

wait, if I’m not mistaken, Hopper DID go through the gate, right? Hence why he appeared at the feet of Russian guards, in Russia, in no time? That’s always how I interpreted it anyway. From my understanding, the Russians had a man-made gate, which was also connected to Russia directly (probably) IMO it would explain how so many Russian’s were roaming in and around Hawkins undetected. Hopper jumped through the gate, maybe traveled around the UD for a bit, jumped through another portal thinking it’s his way out, and it actually led to Russia. Now that I’m typing it out, I’m not even sure how much sense it makes LMAO— but again this is what I thought this whole time. I actually have no clue now tho, I haven’t seen this episode in a minute.

also agreed Spartan, Mike is not it, for me during these later seasons LOL. On the other hand, I do agree with Pudgey’s point, I think Lucas has had a lot of growth. and final note: Angela got what she deserved (not death or anything, but a punch to the face would suffice. This was close enough 😅) I mean, mocking someone’s “deceased” dad is wild

Jackamoo

I don’t think I can wait a week for the reaction to episode 4.

Diana

It’s a fun coincidence that two shows you’re currently watching, Stranger Things and Chernobyl were both partly filmed in Lithuania. I’m not spoiling all the locations but the “russian prison” where Hop is held, was an actual prison in Vilnius, Lithuania. Nowadays, it’s a popular concert and event venue. In Chernobyl series, most locations depicting Pripyat suburbs were also filmed in Vilnius.

William Guenthenspberger

I looked at it that he didn't go through the portal. He got lucky and fell out of the blast. There was still Russians there in the facility and caught Hopper and took him to Russia.

Finn

Please dont revert to thinking everyone is always surviving or can still be alive because of Hop. You guys balling your eyes out just like the rest of us when Hop died is what we wanted rather than you sitting there denying it. Its much more entertaining to see you show emotion than just assume its a fake death. Also Pudgey we know you got it right well done but Spartan is so right its a dumb way for him to survive and escaping into the upside down would have made alot more sense than just giving Hop invincible plot armour.

Ashton Boyle

did you guys not notice who "Enzo" was? the one n only Jaqen Hghar , its Bob and Samwise all over again for me ahaha, this season does take it up a notch, cant wait for the rest !!

Rachel

I've been waiting for you guys to react to season 4 for a while I'm so excited you guys are finally watching it best season In my opinion a bit more darker too

Saphthings

I think y'all sort of... misread something. It's a common trope on the internet, that when someone is dead and we know they'll be back, people all act like "omg I still miss him" and etc to be pests and make y'all think there's no way they'd be back. And we do the same when they really don't come back. So I think ppl were just trolling you lol

Tingeling

Poor Will, even the writers/creators of the show forgot that this episode takes place on his birthday. Poor guy. Mike is honestly a pretty crappy friend at this point, if you ask me. What I find most unsettling about Jason and his cohorts is that people have held similar beliefs IRL. Look up Damien Echols and the West Memphis Three case (I can recommend checking out the docu-series ”Paradise Lost” on your own time, it adds a whole new element to this season). I can also recommend turning on the subtitles for this season. Someone had a lot of fun describing the sound effects (never knew ”squelching” was a word, but onomatopoetically it works). Great job Pudgey immediately recognizing Tom Wlaschiha (Enzo/Jaqen). That man impresses me; he’s not only a great actor, he’s good looking, and a freaking polyglot. Also I love having an actor from GoT on the show. Just as with having Sean Astin from LotR, you know the boys in the party would be a huge fan of the series. Btw, did you notice in the previous ep that El keeps her bedroom door open three inches? I love that so much, it’s such a subtle way to show how much she misses her father.

Lauren Ablondi Olivo

I'm a Mike apologist/defender until l die lmao. they're all kids/teenagers and figuring things out -- at the end of the day, Mike's heart is always in the right place and he always makes the right choice/sets things right
