Even leaving aside the descendants of Targaryens who formally married into other houses, there are lots of Jon Snows (unrecognized Targaryens) running around. Some know it (like that loudmouth in the tavern if he is telling the truth) and others don't (Jon). But also, it is precisely to avoid this that Targaryens are so incesty. Their dragon-riding blood is their greatest asset and they wanna keep in the fam as much as possible. 🤷‍♂️

I’m totally with you guys on Aegon. I’ve always argued against the comparison to Joffrey. I’m def not sayin that Aegon is a good person or anything but he’s def not on the Joffrey level. Aegon shows a soft side to the common people that was nowhere to be found from Joffrey

I love watching non book readers trip out over the harrenhall plot 🤣

Anyone that comps him to joff needs to go do some rewatching imo. Aegon is so much more complex

Yep...dragons are the nuclear weapons of the game of thrones universe and you don't want to chance your future enemies having them.

It better be a good plot because its getting a bit boring is daemon's arc

Love that Baela and Jace are really coming into their own this season. Wish we got to see a little more of Rhaena but glad she was there nonetheless. I’m liking the direction they’ve taken Criston the last few episodes. He was insufferable the first two episodes but I feel like as Hand, they can actually explore more of his personality rather than just how much he hates Rhaenyra

Probably the least interesting story arc right now for me, so I really hope it has some crazy pay off to warrant so much time spent on it. I haven't read the books so don't spoil pls.
