Farbod

An interest mix. Curious to see how this one shakes out.

Oliver

Hacksaw ridge is rly good

Scott Johnson

Good Will Hunting is the best war movie ever, IMHO.

nezudev

Good Will Hunting is one of those movies that are a must see for everyone. I love that film, me and everyone I know that likes it gives it at least a yearly rewatch. I think you both would enjoy it too.

Kairos

Good will hunting is odd one out but good movie, im voting hacksaw though.

Ricky

I heard the Troy extended Edition fucks with the music a bit. Honestly that makes me want for you guys to watch the default version lol. Also Kingdom of Heaven, when? :(

Javinator

As good as Good Will Hunting is, Troy is the better reaction movie and a more Spartan movie imo. I think they would LOVE it

Paraskevas Christodoulopoulos

You know, for a Greek themed channel, not having seen Troy is quite an oversight. I’ll be going to my local Greek place when you all do get around to it. Just know that many liberties were taken with the source material (the Iliad). If you two have not seen Alexander either, that could be another good one. It came out sometime after Troy, and while maligned, could be a good time. I won’t say it laid the groundwork for 300 (2007), but the two battle scenes that it does do are worth sitting through the rest of it in my opinion.

Ryan W

Good will hunting for sure it's a must watch

weezer fan

good will hunting needs to win, just saw it recently and it’s in my top 3

YamYam777

Dunkirk is a good film but also I reccomend " '71 " as it ties in with the British and IRA period that you're doing on Peaky Blinders. Maybe just in your free time if you have any haha

JonSnow21

Imitation game would’ve been a great addition and The Pianist, both are all time imo.

Paul

Troy let's go! Underrated movie.

JonSnow21

Greatest war movie ever is a mad take lol , I would rank a good few above it though I respect your opinion lol.

Guy-on-Couch

Woooo finally a pole im winning haha

Joshua Born

Hacksaw Ridge for the real story it's based on, less so for the offensively goofy Mel Gibson action sequences.

Demo

Plllllleeeeeeaaaasseeee Troy 😭

Scott Johnson

Reminds me of Sesame Street: "One of these things is not like the others. One of these things just doesn't belong" 😉

Jamiefishing7

Braveheartttt! If anyone hasn’t seen this and want to see an amazing movie pls vote for this. You won’t regret it.

PastaDon

Awww man, sorry but biased vote coming in.. Patriots preseason starts tonight.. Let's Gooo!!

Jeremy Lindstrom

Good Will Hunting is the only movie that still makes me get choked up every time I watch it…

Owen Hargrave

I’d love Spartan to see Troy but if Good Will Hunting doesn’t win this it’s a travesty. top 10 film ever.

J_Fley .

If Good Will Hunting wins, you guys will have watched 3 of my top 5-6 favorite movies in a row!

Anthony Donato

This is a very tough one. Each movie on this list is top notch, but I went with Hacksaw Ridge. Hopefully you guy's will get around to watch all of these great movies.

Joe Robinson

Please vote Good Will Hunting! My all time favourite movie and I'm sure S&P would love it. Though I'd happily enjoy them watch any of the others, I've been waiting for GWH for so long!❤️

Louis Melendez

I agree. Troy is definitely more of a spartan type movie. Good will hunting is good. But I’m not a big fan of dialogue heavy movies or shows for reaction videos. I’m hoping Troy wins

Stephen Blair

Petition to add Top Gun, and the recent sequel Maverick to the war/drama list

Alex Ocean

Good Will Hunting is legit my favorite movie, I am really hoping it wins!

NZ Hayley

I think it’s actually the movie from that genre that I enjoyed the most, because it’s such an amazing true story!

BoneSaw99

Good Will Hunting is one of the best movies I’ve ever seen and you guys are going to love it

Lyn Hurst

These are all great movies.

chriztianrox

Hacksaw is fantastic considering it's a true story. Good Will is also amazing in it's own right. Do both! Lol

YoureMrLebowski

you're gonna need to put a couple second tier movies on your polls. i am having difficulty in choosing. maybe a multiple choice poll, winner take all.

Minerva Ravenclaw

Exactly my thoughts, I mean Good Will Hunting is critically better and in every way, but I always cast my vote according to the movie being enjoyable as a reaction movie not for the movie itself.

Erika Bade

Ahh I keep voting for Braveheart! Come on guys! 😂

Ross Davies

The movie is fantastic lol I’m just disappointed I’m 0 for fuck knows in these polls 🤣🤣🤣

neutchain

@Sudden Such a great movie mate. It's hard to chose between that or Lethal Weapon but that might just be my favourite Mel Gibson movie. To be fair We Were Soldiers was great too.

neutchain

Somebody please add 13 Hours or Black Hawk Down to one of these lists. They're really good when it comes to modern warfare and more than worth a watch. Also, they're walking the perfect line between being highly entertaining and accurate.

Colin Ryan

I feel like 1917 deserves to be on this list!

Max Martin

I'm also going to mention 1917 as a movie to add to the list, one of the best war movies in recent time

Zach Zbinden

I'll be another commenter suggesting adding 1917 next time. Phenomenal movie.

Josh

Honestly, all of these are wonderful.

SuddenImpulse

We need Enemy at the Gates on this list. -Jude Law -Rachel Weisz -Ed Harris A different part of the war than the majority of WW2 movies cover. Most WW2 movies cover the exact same theater of conflict, which is unfortunate because its just one portion of a much larger war. One of the biggest casualty locations in the war in fact.

chriztianrox

A scene or two might be over the top, but they actually toned down what he did in real life because they thought audiences wouldn’t believe what he really did. Truly amazing.

MoyV2

Oh duuude I can't believe furys lagging behind. Hacksaw ridge is my second but fury is out of this world.

Fuzzy Dunlop

Oh, hey Spartan. Guess who's here, big fella.

DoomGummy

Good Will Hunting - LOL

Nicholas R Huber

Good will hunting is not like the others at all lol. Great movie though

Rich Plumb

Pudgey will like Good Will Hunting. Deals with child psychology and there are no car crashes.

SuddenImpulse

The problem is very few voters even know what A Time to Kill is. I don't even remember someone mentioning it lol.

SuddenImpulse

Yeah thats what I am talking about. It went a little too Mel Gibson style action for me (personal thing), but thats really my only criticism of the film, overall I like it, and its more accurate than a lot of historical films (the court scene didn't happen for example but it makes the movie more enticing) even if some liberties are taken. The main thing they toned down is removing the sniper shot.

chriztianrox

I agree. Some of the action shots were hollywoodized for sure. But his actions weren’t. He actually did more in real life. I’d also love to see them react to Unbroken. Another true war story that no one usually reacts to for some reason. And that one has virtually no battle scenes in it. It’s more of a survivor story.

Erika Bade

lol I get that, it’s soooo historically inaccurate. If you view it as purely entertaining action movie though it’s good. I pretend it’s not based on a real person and it makes it better haha. I just think it would be a really fun reaction video.

Riolkin

Awesome list again. Most of these I haven't seen in a good while so these will be fun to rewatch

Anthony V Petty

I think they would enjoy all of these, but Braveheart or Troy seem more in tune with their taste. Dunkirk is one that would add to their love of Nolan films.

imperial

The TROY Director's Cut replaces ALL music from the original movie, and uses music from other movies like Planet of the Apes. Its one of the WORST Director's Cuts ever made. Unfortunately it's the only version that Sudden Impulse has ever seen, so he's going to keep steering you guys in the WRONG direction.

Becca

Good Will Hunting and a Time to Kill are Dramas and have nothing to do with war or anything. Braveheart is the one Spartan will like best. IMO!

K

The category is drama and/or war. Not just war

imperial

LOL just saw this Sudden, sorry for blaming you. Glad they did a poll and are going to watch the true og version when it wins. Music makes a huge difference in a movie, and the music in this DC just ruined it for me.
