I was gonna choose Tropic Thunder until I saw that Dumb and Dumber was also on there 😅 I'm sorry, but nothing beats that movie for me. I'll happily watch that one for the 20th time with you guys.

It literally was nominated for a dozen best comedy of the year awards. Dark Comedy is included in this category. Do they not have drama classes in school anymore?

Ikr? That's what I'm always afraid of, that the older movies won't get the votes because younger ppl won't have seen or know about them. BUT I've been proven wrong before 🙂 Even Good Will Hunting was a 97 movie, so I have faith a 94 classic like Dumb and Dumber could make it as well.

There are some good options on here. Some other comedies I would like to see in the future: I am sure there are a number of others that I will kick myself for forgetting an hour from now: -Game Night -Superbad -Horrible Bosses 1 -Kingsman Secret Service (the first movie, its kinda a mix of action and comedy so idk what this would fit under.) -Rat Race (2001) -Zombieland 1 -Zoolander -Starsky & Hutch (2004) -Talladega Nights -Bedazzled -Neighbors -Shaun of the Dead

When I left the cinema after 40 year old virgin, the whole cinema was abuzz and laughing so hard as they left. Love that movie. I know it’s early, but I’m a bit shocked it’s not way high up probably with step bros.

Not even close. Sure its funny for the type of movie it is. However, there are better movies. It wouldn't even win in a thriller/comedy category. Hot Fuzz, Sean of the Dead, so I Married an Axe Murderer are far better and not even on this list.

Id love if the next list had a few classics. Young frankenstein, Dracula dead and loving it, space balls, anything Monty python. Super Troopers. There are some real gems out there.

Personally I never found Anchorman very funny or appealing. Comedies are mileage may vary depending on the person. They have a lot of movie recommendations, so they can only fit so many on a poll at one time.

Y’all need to watch Game Night starting Jason Bateman. It’s comedy-mystery. It’s new enough and with enough action and mystery for them to enjoy. But it’s also really funny. And not many reactors have done it.

There are some great ones on this list. I know its not winning the poll this time around but you guys should definitely check out the Dungeons and Dragons movie while you are still in "Fantasy Mode" from Game of Thrones. Its a movie I did not expect to like, and I ended up loving it.

Im not sure that counts as a comedy though. I agree that it is funny at times ( mostly due to having Jim Carrey in it ) but that's more like a drama than comedy. That being said it is a great movie I absolutely love it.

kinda curious to see reactions to movies like anchorman and stepbrothers only because i wonder if they are the kind you had to watch back when they came out to find them funny. like if you’d have asked me 15-20 years ago, i’d tell you they were peak comedy but times have definitely changed. i think the only reason i’d laugh now is because i’ve seen them 100 times and they have that nostalgia factor, ya know?

For Christmas time I’d love to see you guys react to It’s a wonderful life. Amazing movie with so much meaning. Always gives me that nostalgic feeling of being home with my parents at Christmas as this was always on back then 🥲

Tropic Thunder is the best of these movies, but I didn't vote for it, because it can't be the first comedy off this list. Based on history and the satire of Vietnam movies and hollywood, I don't even know if it hits the same for S&P. Needed to be like 4th or 5th of the 2000s comedies.

If your trying to say that it was meant to be, that's just cope. It's the typical argument that you get from Rian Johnson apologists. If the plot makes no logical sense it must be intentional. The movie is garbage, just like everything else Rian Johnson's ever made.
