Woohoo! This is why I joined. I think you two will love it.

How many times does Pudgey tear up before the end of the show.....3, 4?

Franky E

Wait do they realise its Dario Naharis

I think its a lot better to think of the show as a horror/mystery/family drama. Saying its a horror is a bit one-track, because the horror elements are moreso just the vehicle to tell a family drama story, which is the core of the show (imo), and then the mystery aspect goes hand in hand with the horror which I think is most of the fun (theorising and speculating about the ghosts, what’s real/not real, why this all happens in the first place etc.)

Thrilled for this one! Minor ask but going forward, is there a way to have the subtitles that only show dialog but don't describe sounds or attribute the dialog to characters? I'd much rather you guys hear the sound for yourselves than the subtitles telegraphing that [the floor is creaking] even before you've realized it, etc.

Sometimes I hate when people advise reactors to pay attention to the background in these series within the Flanoverse (director is Mike Flanagan, creates great horror/dark love stories and family dramas in every show he works on and uses the same actors over and over, like Ryan Murphy). BUT def check out any of the YouTube videos that spot all the different things happening in the background, once you're finished with Hill House. It's mind-blowing. Loved this reaction, guys!

Yes!

There are horror elements to this show but i would also consider it a mystery. Putting the pieces together is one best parts of the show especially on a rewatch

Lara Amaro

Omg yessss I've been waiting for this!

Spartan told me that after watching the first episode, he had nightmares and had to get out his favorite stuffed animal and blankie to get back to sleep.

Lise

Did you recognize Daario Naharis actor? It's first and foremost a family drama and mystery I'd say. I don't seek out horror at all either, but here the horror is elevated by the writing, it has a poetic quality, there is a strong psychological and emotional element. It'll make you scratch your head. I enjoyed watching you trying to piece everything together!

nicole

i’m so happy i can rewatch this with you both! it really is a beautiful show, with a variety of elements from scary to heartbreaking

Fobbekk Gamer

This is one of my favorites, its so good writing. Love to see you react to this

Draethius

It's amazing as a 34 year old, this show manages to make me feel spooked when I wander around my house alone in the dark. XD It's too good! Really looking forward to seeing more from this show! :)

KP

Yes!!!!

Paul Walker

My main disappointment was realizing Michiel Huisman had such a prominent role in the show.

Justin SSFL

Yes! One of my favorites by Mike Flanagan ❤️ his story telling is amazing 👏

Lizabee

This series and its message have stuck with me since I watched it. It’s so freaking good and haunting
