Vote what you want to watch for next weeks movie!

(Reminder - Jurassic Park, as with all movie series will be done on a fortnightly basis so Jurassic Park 2 will be done the week after whatever wins this poll)

Comments

FullMetal B

I was just thinking I needed to recommend District 9 for a scifi poll!

Beñat

My vote goes to the Guy Ritchie Sherlock Holmes movies. RDJ and Jude Law have incredible chemistry and those movies are fun as shit.

Hefty517

Sheesh, can’t even spell the movie title right 😉

Hank Scorpio

Inglorious Bastards should win this surely

Kevin Bandy

Top Gun or Inglorious Basterds. I'd be thrilled with either. I could really go without Jurassic Park 2 lol

Farbod

Not a bad choice in the bunch. Best poll yet.

Dale Tucker

People really like ww2 stuff eh?

Demo

This is the easiest poll they’ve put up so far lol Inglourious Basterds no question

Wingardoum_Leviousaaa

Nothing on the list comes even remotely close to how good inglorious bastards is

thank u next

Top Gun ✈️🔥🔥🔥 Danger Zone

Nicole Herd

Inglorious Bastards purely because it's one of the best films ever made.

Aaron Crawford

The Sherlock Holmes movies would actually be great reactions for the guys, have a feeling they would really enjoy them

Garrett Serbin

All of these would be good. Except dredd

John Neiberger

Top Gun is great. Top Gun 2 was unwatchably bad for me. I only made it about halfway through the movie before I ejected.

DominaZeta

I’m perfectly happy with Inglorious B. winning this but you absolutely must see the Sherlock Holmes movies at some point: they are kickass!!!

Paul

Inglorious bastards above The Mummy 1&2 is a travesty lol

Toan Toan

Only one place for The Mummy 1 & 2. it's first place.

Riolkin

I've seen all of these other than the new Predator stuff. So many good choices. The Mummy deserves its high praise, it's fun and corny adventures and features Brenden Fraser who is super lovable. Inglorious Basterds is a great film to follow up Django in the Tarantino-verse, featuring my favorite performance by Christoph Waltz EVER. Tron Legacy is not a great film but it is a visually stunning film with some very cool action sequences and was worth the theater ticket price. Dredd is incredible and violent and Karl Urban (Billy Butcher) does a great job as the titular character. District 9 is one of those films I don't really want to describe because I am afraid of spoiling anything, but it's excellent. I've never been much of a fan of Tom Cruise or the Top Gun series, but as films go they are well made and exciting and most people really like them. That being said I voted for Sherlock because I loved RDJ and Jude Law in those films and feel like those movies are underappreciated.

Vanessa Navarro

Inglorious Bastards is such a good film!

AvatarJordy

The Mummy is the greatest movie ever made with the sexiest people of its time and I will not stand for it losing this poll!

Allaiya

Inglorious bastards or Top Gun series would be my picks.

Dónde está la biblioteca

Inglorious Bastards, only because it is Tarantino. I've seen many reactions to almost everything in this poll and to be honest, none excite me anymore. I'd watch them react to District 9, though.

DoomGummy

OMG District 9 PLEASE. Almost no one reacts to it, you'd have a ton of viewership. Same for all of Blomkamps movies.

Thomas

Yo- long time fan, first time Patreon subscriber. Inglorious Basterds would be an amazing treat after finishing BoB. It's on theme, and lots of fun!

Jamiefishing7

Top Gun 2 is my number 1 favourite movie atm. Absolutely loved it when I saw it at the cinema. My friend in a whole other continent also loved it. Then I said to my bro to watch it and he loved it too. Insane movie. First one good. 2nd one stunning!

Jamiefishing7

If Sherlock is being watched it should be the Benedict Cumberbatch tv show as a mini series cos it is absolutely phenomenal.

Daniel

Alot of you have never seen district 9 and it shows! 😭

Matt

Prey is one of the better movies of the past few years. Very under appreciated. Hopefully you all tackle the Predator Prey combo at some point because you 2 as viewers will definitely love them.

Farbod

Predator and Dredd are made for Spartan. Sherlock Holmes is made for Pudgey. I think they would have a lot of fun with The Mummy, similar to how they enjoyed Pirates. Im a huge Tarantino fan and Inglourious Bastards is a great film, but I don't think it plays to their strengths as reactors like some of these other choices do. Just my two cents.

SuddenImpulse

I think Spartan and Pudgey would enjoy some of these movies like Mummy, Predator, Sherlock etc. more than some of these others, Tarantino doesn't seem quite their style although they appreciate him, but the polls be the polls.

I swear everyone on here says every film is the best film ever made, People are so hyperbolic with everything these days lol

Matt
>>150616839

Those that have seen it. But not many people have seen it. Compared to the other movies on this list.

Paul De'Armond

Top Gun or Bastards are the two best options for my taste. For theirs, I have no idea.

Matt

Love District 9

TwistedMagoo

Man, I really thought Dredd would do better. Still underrated I guess.

Geovane Rodrigues

We have been feeding them with a lot of cult movies (which is good too), but after Schindler’s List I think we could give them a pause of WW2 movies. I think they’d enjoy the Mummy or Top Gun way more these days.

Pablo

I actually like The Mummy 3 even tho its kinda bad lol they should put it on a poll as well

Pablo

Watch the action adventure movie poll somehow just be the Tarantino movie poll over and over

This is an unpopular opinion, but I'll say it anyway: Tarantino movies are schlock, and he's a hack director. He does have some positive aspects, such as dialogue writing, but his movies never have a good overarching narrative and always just devolve into gorefests for no reason. And there's no interesting filmmaking aspects to his directing, compare to other "best-of-all-time" directors like Kubrick, Hitchcock, or Lumet.

Jamiefishing7
>>150614621

Not imo and there’s only 15 episodes. Granted the first half of them are super strong.

LazyCouchG3mer

I was surprised Tron did so badly, one of my favourite childhood films and one of the best uses of CGI I have ever seen, especially for that period. However no complaints with IB!! Just feel bad for the people who dislike the "war" genre of film/TV, as BoB, then the pacific as announced, SVP & now this, been a rough for months for them lol!!

Zach Zbinden

Speaking of Sherlock You guys should look into the mini series Sherlock Holmes. Played by Benedict Cumberbatch. Phenomenal mini series.

Pablo
>>150640976

Not that unpopular really. I also think he is a hack. I love pulp fiction but he is so a one trick pony every movie he does is the same but worse. Its like he has a checklist of things to include in his movies like snapy dialoge, gore scenes, feet, etc. He checks all those boxes and then forgets to write a good fucking story. Seriously the writing on his movies, especially the last like 5 or so gets so bad its insane people keep prasing him.

Pablo
>>150640976

Oh and btw lumet might be the most underrated director of all time, good on you for mentioning him.

Farbod
>>150683278

Yeah... Modern War genre isn't my favorite, especially for reactions.

Draethius

Definitely The Mummy 1 & 2! 1 is one of my favorite movies tbh, it's very fun.

Randy

you tards pick Inglorious Bastards out of all of those?

K

Just want to say that this is a great poll. Good alternatives!

SuddenImpulse
>>150640976

Lumet has a few solid standout films but the average rating for majority of his films is like a 5-6.5 range. A handful in the 7s and 8s.

Pablo
>>150640976

I mean yeah those guys were making like a film per year back in the day of course some of them were gonna flop. But solid standout film? I would call the veredict, murder on the orient express and even before the devil know you are dead: solid standout films. But fucking Network, Dog Day Afternoon, Serpico and 12 Angry Men, those i call some of the most important movies in film history, they are insanely good come on pretty much perfect scripts all of them

Roy Koopa
>>150733632

I think it’s just that there’s a lot of people who like cinema on this Patreon.

ty110072

As a new member I would love to see you guys react to the Back to the Future trilogy, I really think you guys would love it

bilal arsalah

every single other option is better than inglorious bastards smh

Kajetan Dvorak-Stocker

I know that because of the poll "District 9" seems not really worth it to be watched. But it's such a great movie, please don't forgett about it! It's a Peter Jackson movie who also did the Lord of the Rings. And it's so different from every other movie in this genre.
