This show is exactly what DC needs, grounded action/drama built on acting and directing. Enjoy the ride, it gets better with every episode

I agree about the excellent makeup, costume & styling details on this show: they made him look like 'the Penguin' without making him look like a cartoon. Best realistic Penguin I've ever seen onscreen. Also, did you know that it's Irish actor Colin Farrell under those prosthetics?! Terrific performance by him and he's doing a great NY (aka Gotham) gangster accent. This is an HBO show, so expect GoT levels of violence... definitely not pulling any punches.

Paul Walker

I think Spartan would definitely enjoy The Batman on second watch. He's clearly evolving in his taste when it comes to tv and movies. His appreciation for slow build, well-crafted story telling has evolved so much over the last few years.

P.S.: Penguin's deformity is called a 'club foot': a birth defect where the foot is improperly formed and turned inward... it's why he limps and wears a brace.

Fuzzy Dunlop

I don't think Spartan will like this show. It's too good, has superb acting, and has violence. He should stick to Sex in The City.

Idk if this is right but i inferred that the song on the TV from the old show at Oz’s mums home said and repeated (Which Oz kept hearing and had a realisation eventually) was “Put the Blame on Mame” now i got from those lyrics he got the plan to put the “Blame” of Alberto’s death on the which eventually Oz thought of as Sal Maroni “Mame” (made the most sense to blame it on him with the family histories). But i could be wrong.
