Absolutely love season 4. I think the reason it's so good is there is just SO MUCH nuance in Jimmy's character this season. There can be so much debate for how/why he acts a certain way. He's truly in a cocoon this season. Hope you guys enjoy!

Spartan needs to rewatch that Chuck scene lol

Paul Walker

The opening sequence really hits knowing Bob Odenkirk suffered a real heart attack on the set of Better Call Saul. Crazy to think the movie Nobody may have saved his life.

M. Gideon Hoyle

To be fair, people who kill themselves typically aren't in their right mind.

JD

Regarding the end of the episode, Jimmy blamed himself for Chuck the entire time until Howard suggested that it might have been his fault. Then he was more than happy to pass on all the guilt hence the sudden change vibe.

“My grandpa used to make me put his shoes away” 😭 sent me

Sean Carroll

Chuck chooses to burn house down while he stays inside house "is he dead" come on guys haha

Chuck lost his brother (let’s not pretend Jimmy didn’t do him dirty..) and he could cope with that but when he lost the LAW? His truest love? Forced to retire when he was finally ready to go back while Jimmy just got a slap on the wrist and would be back in one year? From Chuck’s perspective, along with the psychosomatic pain…that drove him to suicide. Howard saying so was the writers’ way of confirming it to the audience.

Sean Carroll

Well it’s not a hard thing to catch that chuck is knocking over his lantern in order to commit suicide, it’s extremely obvious I would say.

Jimmy could've left well enough alone and just served his 1 year suspension but NOOOO he had to go and sabotage his brother again out of spite because his partner actually acknowledged that they did him dirty. And that caused his brother to completely spiral. Jimmy is not a victim. And he let Howard blame himself!
