Lalo!

The scene with Werner and Mike mirrors the scene with Walt and Mike when Gus was gonna have Walt killed at the lab. Similar conversation, similar despair from Walt as was with Werner. Even down to the pleading to talk to Gus and explain that he’ll work for free

I agree that it’s similar. The big difference though is Mike’s demeanor. It tore him apart to kill Werner and I didn’t get that feeling at all when he was going to kill Walter. Just shows you how working for Gus can harden you with the lengths you have to go

Ryan Murray

Jimmy mentions the scenario of saving a judge from a burning building. I believe in his own weird way, he's fantasizing about saving Chuck from his burning house.

Rory O'Rafferty

Michael McKean (Chuck) played David St Hubbins, the lead singer in the classic and brilliant This Is Spinal Tap. Anyone who has seen that knows that he can sing. Would highly recommend if you haven't seen it 🙂

Joel

There’s a slight hint of apprehension on mikes part with Walt. When he says “I can’t do it…I’m sorry”. Definitely not the same as with Werner. But it shows that a remnant of his dealing with the situation before still cracks through (obviously in hindsight since Walt’s situation was written without Werner in mind).

Yes I believe Jimmy had a grieving moment in his car.

MarisoL

I was falling for his speech until he said McGill. It's sad to know that the board wants Jimmy to accept that he'll never be as good as his brother. Booo

MarisoL

As for Kim, she kinda reminds me of Walt in a way. Walt wanted to be the family man and be in the meth business. Similarly Kim wants to stay in the grey area, she wants to do good but loves the risk too.

the start of this episode had so much writing to it. this episode was easily top 10 in the whole breaking bad universe
