1986 Aleksander and 2019 Aleksander look so similar it's crazy. I don't think their actors are related. Kahnwald is Jonas's father side of the family.

Not a spoiler: the year 1983 on Boris Passport is the date of Issue, not of Birth. Without knowing German, hard to get it

Don't think that requires knowing German. The passport was in German, English and French. But yes, the 1983 seen was the date issued. The birth date was on the page before it. If we go by the issued date then Alexander's looked like 1982.

I could be wrong, but I don’t think it’s actually implied anywhere that Aleksander (or “Boris”) has time traveled. I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

Ulrich is a terrible time traveller. From the moment he arrived in 1953 he was acting super crazy and suspicious to everyone he interacted with, he doesn't instantly go back to 2019 after beating Helge, he straight up confesses to Helge's abduction and allows himself to be imprisoned in the past. Noah says that the world is doomed to be destroyed and that they're making a time machine that will be their ark. But Spartan is right about the ends justifying the means for Noah. Helge's mother says that maybe Helge "wasn't a child created out of love". This could be a hint that she might have been raped by allied soldiers towards the end of WW2. I think the dust is meant to signify everything in Regina's life beginning to decline.

Why has NO ONE talked about the link to Netflixs' own spoiler free website for all DARK family trees and clues. You just type in what season and episode you are on, and the website gives you spoiler free info. It is great for first watchers, and evidently, needed as well. I have no idea where they got the idea that Alexander is from another time, there’s been absolutely nothing pointing to that, at all. When they said that it really confused me, because I have no idea where that thought came from.

Where did you get the idea that Alexander is a time traveller or from a different timeline? There’s been nothing at all pointing towards that in this episode. Pudgey saying it ended up confusing you both lol Boris was not born in 1983. The 1983 you saw was the issue date of the passport. The picture on the Boris passport looked exactly like who we know now as Alexander and the picture on the Alexander passport was someone else entirely who we’ve never seen. I think you guys are trying to overcomplicate things because you know the plot is complex with a lot of moving parts. However, all you are gonna do is end up completely confusing yourselves heh. All we know of Alexander is that he showed up in the woods with a passport that said “Boris”, and he took on the identity of the other passport that had “Alexander” as the name. He also had a wound in his shoulder and was carrying a loaded handgun. That’s all we know about him in 1986, so you may want to hold off on this idea that he’s from another timeline or that he’s a time traveller until you see some sort of evidence of that. As of right now all we know is that he took someone else’s identity and was wounded when he showed up and helped Claudia.

That baffled me, completely. All we saw was two passports, one with his picture that said “Boris” and another with someone else’s picture that we don’t know, named “Alexander” and that he took over the identity of Alexander. He also had a wound in his shoulder and a loaded handgun. That’s literally every piece of info we had at that point when they decided he was from another timeline for some reason lol It confused me and I’d love to know why Pudgy’s brain went straight to that when nothing pointed to it. Unless the 1983 thing threw her off, which was the issue date of the passport, not the birth date. It would be a weird birth date on a passport with a picture of a grown man on it lol
