I absolutely love the ending to this episode. Not only is it such a wild out of left field moment but you get such a weird look into Kim's headspace in the span of a second

Ever since Jimmy broke down crying in his car in season 4 finale he's been resentful towards Howard, I feel he both blames Howard for Chucks death by pushing him out at HHM and also not being told about it by either of them. He was left out of the loop when maybe he couldv'e done something. plus he holds a grudge on Howard for punishing Kim a few times.

You guys are doing awesome understanding the concepts the show is presenting. One thing also worth mentioning is the positive results Jimmy created for people Kim has a softer heart for is why she realized Jimmy’s intentions were for her, similar to when he fudged the addresses for her regarding Mesa Verde. Remember she was upset with Jimmy and started punching him then but saw he did it for her. Her proposal to Jimmy is to protect Jimmy similar to how she protected Jimmy about not leaving any traces leading back to Jimmy regarding changing the Mesa Verde address for Chuck to find.

I think he blames Howard to prevent any guilty conscience from creeping in. Con men always blame other people to justify their actions and remove any feelings of guilt which they view as a sign of weakness.
