The poll is complete, and the winner is.....THE EXPANSE!

The Expanse will officially be replacing DARK once it is complete. that being said, The Walking Dead was VERY narrowly behind by only 5 votes, and considering the poll would be very similar for the replacement of Better Call Saul (which is still a while away) we are considering replacing that with TWD so we get best of both worlds and hopefully satisfy most people!

We will also be replacing Alice In Borderland soon, so plenty of variety for everyone.Let us know your thoughts in the comments down below!

I’m one who has stuck with Walking Dead - late to it in 2016, I watched 6 seasons in 30 days - you’ll love it. It lost many viewers but I feel it picked up series 9-11. I also did Fear the Walking Dead all the way to series 8 too as it ended. The main show is a big show to commit to & I’d hate for you to stop at 7 or 8. Some amazing characters and a great show for you both to get stuck into.

There seems to be some kind of weird backlash against it in the comments, which I don't understand. There was a time when it was the biggest thing on TV.

I agree 100%. We stopped watching shortly after season 5 began (we watched it when it aired, not on demand). It just started getting so repetitive, no progress, no end goal in sight. We began not being able to tell one episode from another. Just a blur of sameness.

Yea no doubt def worth checking out. But even the most hard-core fans will admit it drags and gets stuck in a cycle of the same thing over and over again. The quality of the early seasons unfortunately gets lost the longer you watch.

I agree. Plus, I think it’s a different experience when your binge it. Watching it live is what made most people lose interest because they started releasing 8 episodes at a time and with too much time in between seasons. Then all the spin offs. It is a lot, but for me it was worth it. Great characters and I need to know how it all ends! I’m invested.

I remember being so hyped for TWD when it first came out. My excitement died by the end of season 3. Then I kept watching for another 2 seasons before losing interest. Tried to pick it up again years later and just had no interest. It was so hyped to begin with though

Haters gotta hate. Some folks just don't feel alive unless they are whining about something/everything. I've heard it said that seven seasons is kind of a maximum before a portion of the audience will start with the "Boo Hoo it isn't what it used to be, and they should have done this, and I would have done that if I made the show".

I don't comment much anymore, but I am happy to see you back Sudden. Very sorry to hear about your loss, I can only imagine the helplessness you and your family have (and is) going through. As for whatever drama that happened, assuming it's true - it's only human to make mistakes, as many of these tv shows we've been watching showcases with grey and complex characters. Life is a lot like that, for all of us. Sometimes in life we get blinded by emotions, and the consequences can be hard to recover from. I believe in giving second chances, and I hope you allow yourself to learn from the experience.

You will LOVE the Expanse! In my top 3 shows of all time, all genres. I really enjoyed the early seasons of TWD but, overall, the writing in The Expanse is far superior, more complex, comprehensive and interesting. But TWD has such a broad fan base, it would be good for your channel to watch both shows. And it will be fun to watch Pudgey gag at all the endless creative and disgusting ways they've imagined to kill zombies.

Bro. This is a bit more than "making mistakes". This is fabricating entire identities to play white knight/victim/savior on the internet. He admitted this himself when caught. Hoping it's on your cards at some point in the near future, especially considering 1) it's only 7 episodes long + 2) because you may be planning to watch 6-8 seasons of 'The Walking Dead', which could take quite a long time :)

TWD is 177 episodes, at 3 episodes a week it's over a year. At a reasonable rate of 2 a week that's still nearly 1.5 years. It has so much filler and terrible plots (my opinion) after S 5/6 'ish' that it's just not worth it. Even if they stopped at S8 it's still well over 100 episodes. I hope it stops gaining traction in polls as it's really disappointing for the 80% who don't want it. Black sails, Vikings & The last kingdom would be perfect for sometime this year. They have a good amount of action and story telling, with well written characters, and they aren't too long/filling. Perfect show size for a reaction. A lot of the shows they have reacted to the past 18 months have been 'modern' setting, so it would be nice to get something in the History/Fantasy/Medieval era again for us fans who have been waiting A LONG TIME for something like that. However, the Expanse is a great winner and finally something I wanted won! Praying for one of those to win sometime soon, but don't have too much hope with the way the polls have been going :/

The walking dead has some of the largest audiences when it comes to reactions. Just check on YouTube. There are plenty of shows they watch I'm not interested in, and that's ok. If people vote for it, either join along or don't but I don't get the trying to convince them not to. And let's be honest, on YouTube, they would get a massive following, because TWD is an extremely good show for reactions and has a massive fan base. So many reactors gained a lot from starting that show.

That's true, it has a massive following yes - But in these polls there are 80% of the rest of the votes not going there, and there's a lot of people who don't want it. So they may gain a lot of new fans through YouTube but a lot of us Patreon paying subscribers will be left in the mud with it. My opinion obviously, if it wins then it wins, but for me and likely some others, it will just have to mean cancelling my subscription until fresher content comes about as I personally don't want to pay for a years worth of a show I don't want to see. :)

Sure. Most shows though will not have a full consensus, it's how it is. I don't give a damn about the expanse, some people do. Cool. My point is, they do more than one show. So there are still options for those interested. If they gain a massive following on YouTube they will get patreon subscribers as well. If the walking dead doesn't win, I will most likely also not remain on patreon for the time being. I liked queen's gambit, dark, and Alice in borderland. Any of the new options don't interest me, only the possibility of the walking dead. If they pick that, I'm staying, if not I'll leave until there is something that interests me. It's gonna be that same way for everybody. If you don't like the shows they are watching then you might leave too, which is normal. How is that "leaving patreon paying subscribers in the mud"? When it tied for top with the expanse? 😅 I don't get it, but personally I hope they do the walking dead

Because TWD is significantly longer, Expanse has 62 episodes, which is just over 1/3 of the TWD episode count. Therefore there becomes a longer barrier between a switch up of content for other people. If they wanted to react to TWD and it won and they were only going to do X amount of episodes, I'd be fine with that as it's a short enough timeframe for me to look forward to new content, but over a year of TWD is really difficult for me to support. I think the bottom line is, is that it has drawn so much negative attention from a lot of people, and it is just simply too long, way too long to occupy a main slot on the channel for those people who don't want it. Running 2 smaller tv shows at the same time, of different genres is the best way to go so that a good majority of people have something they like, along with brining back a weekly / fortnightly movie reaction. That seems like the most reasonable kind of progression to me that combines different people's opinions right? 😅

Not really because they literally said TWD until season 6, so it would be exactly the same example you are making with The expanse. And then they would reassess after that, meaning that if they weren't getting support from the viewers, they wouldn't continue. Sorry, but if you made the example with the episode count specifically, then the logic doesn't hold. Also, you mentioned 80% of people don't want to watch it, however suggested the last kingdom and vikings... However in that case, based on the polls, about 90% of people don't want to watch those 🥲. Democracy, am I right? I'm just underlining how objectively your argument doesn't really hold, and it's just a matter of YOU not wanting to watch it... Which is okay. But objectively many people want to watch it, and the fanbase is huge, so I know they would gain many other supporters, as many other reactors have already... If they do Viking, or the last kingdom, and nothing else interested me (like the expanse or severance) I'd unsubscribe too for a while, but I doubt I would make a comment telling them they are disappointing so many people or whatever else when majority rules (?). Just democracy is all I'm saying. I guess good luck and hope they watch something you're also interested in :) whether they do the walking dead or not.

Completely agree with you. It is one of the best shows. When it comes to reactions specifically, I actually think it is THE best show I have ever watched. It's amazing for reactions. And I put breaking bad above the walking dead... But I never get tired of the walking dead reactions.

I get how you feel 100%, a 100% trust me, it's been since HoTD s2 ended that I haven't watched their reactions (and without going too much into details in case you haven't watched, the second half of hotd s2 was underwhelming, their reactions were good) , I've been EAGERLY waiting ever since to get back to watch them on a regular basis but sadly none of the shows that came after that appealed to me, finally one comes along that does!! , TWD, don't take that away from me!. This reaction business is cutthroat, such that it can completely remove you from keeping up to date with the content creators you like for months/years. They moved places (from what I can see in the newer thumbnails), they matured as reactors, a lot of things happened in the last 9+ months that I haven't seen them, there's a lot of catching up to do for when TWD 1x1 episode drops and I'll be there for it.

@Timothy "even the most hard-core fans" , well I wouldn't dare to call myself a hardcore fan I'm not worthy of that title since I haven't finished the series, I dropped it somewhere in the last or 2nd to last season, for reasons I don't care to explain in here cuz it would take too long (but it was not the show's fault) , even as non-hardcore fan I will defend TWD to the death, it is for me a clear top 5 show OF ALL TIME alongside game of thrones and breaking bad, it is a monumental show, a GOAT contender show, not some crappy show you found laying on the streets and felt like spitting on it, it does have micro-draggings and gets stuck in micro-cycles, sure... what show doesn't?, why such scrutiny for TWD? , the show is incredibly compelling, the journey is amazing, the formula is text book main-stream stuff (that might be the only complain I can think of for me personally, but that's also what probably made them the most money as it is the main hook for mainstream audience), it has amazing actors, some scenes with rick+shane are one of the best acting scenes of any kind that I've ever seen on tv PERIOD, some character's arc are incredible, and I can't say more cuz of spoilers, they are going to love it and the reactions are going to be great, in fact and not to put pressure on them... but I think they are going to elevate the show even more with their reactions/discussions because it's a very humanistic show, as humanistic as it gets, when you have people 24/7 depending on others to survive.

Def the walking dead. Not everyone likes how it ended but you will not regret watching this. It is beautifully written, there are amazing moments its worth it I believe
