We have been busy moving into our new home and more recently mourning the loss of Spartan's grandmother. As a result, our health has been a bit up and down, and we have been unable to join TLOU S2 Live with you all. We're ensuring we are in a good place before we make a decision, just taking things one week at a time. How is season 2 so far? Is it still worth us watching it IF we can maybe in a few weeks?

I find it very poorly done, unfortunately. Because I enjoyed much of the first season. I'd hate for you guys to stress more trying to include it.

I would personally say maybe wait a few weeks until all seven episodes have released so that when you watch the show you don't have to wait. It's been okay. A few good episodes and a few meh or mediocre episodes imo. Can't say yet if I like the season overall because it isn't done.

Sorry for your loss Spartan 😔 So far nothing special in season 2, in my opinion it’s passable. It has some good moments especially in episode 2. Outside of that it’s a miss for me so far.

Don’t let people sway you saying it’s “awful” and “not worth it”. These people didn’t play the games and didn’t know the story, so they’re complaining over how it was written and intended. And also sorry for your loss💔

Season 2 is great, of course there is shit to nitpick but overall I say it’s just as good if not better than season 1.

So sorry for your loss! :( I would say S2 is definitely worth it. I think those who have played the games have their issues with it but I haven’t and I think it’s been really good so far! Condolences. Take the time you need, especially when deciding to go into The Last of Us. As a person that thoroughly enjoyed the games, im enjoying the new season and changes they've made. Like seeing the reactions, but that world is a heavy one, and I'd put both of your health and well being above any type of reaction or content. It is worth while but not as much as you two. Positive thoughts for you both. Stay great!!!

I've payed through both games numerous times and watched them picked apart and played through as well. I have no issues with the season 2 so far, actually understand why most of the changes are for the better and enjoy the new additions they've done.

I remember talking to my nephew about it, and he was telling me how come he didn't like it, and what it needed, then he said "I haven't played it, just watched a couple things and what ppl have said"............and I explained how everything he said it needed is there, just have to actually play it and not go by what others have said.

I watched the first season without knowing anything about the game. I didn't understand why people were complaining so much, I really liked it. Then I decided to play the game myself and then I understood what the problem was for many people. The Ellie in the game had a completely different vibe for me, I liked her more than in the series. This is not a hatred towards Bella on my part, I simply realized why many people feel the casting is bad. Of course, hatred towards any actor is outrageous.

Sorry for your loss! I think you two are doing fine with the vids, so do it when you want to and can. The reactions will be forever, so you should be in the right head space for it. Yes it is worth it, but don’t rush it :)

Sorry for your loss Spartan. I’m very close with my grandmother I can only imagine what you’re going through. Keep family close and time will mend the pain but she is always there in memory and heart. TLOU. The show is kind of whatever to me and the reception to season 2 is not as good as the first season. The production has been very great and it’s pretty accurate to the games but overall right now it’s weaker to season 1. That being said. Your current situation maybe hold off on the show it’s a very dark show maybe watch some more lighthearted things and come back to it later it will always be there. 🙏💪

I dunno if either of you played the game, if you did then it's quite accurate, which is why I personally stopped watching it cos I don't like the story or the characters of the second game, it's quite divisive but I'd recommend trying it out, I imagine there'll be a lot of people who watch you who really like it. More importantly, my condolences to Spartan, hope you are coping alright.
