Ayo 😂💀 the fact that they acknowledge Shane aiming the gun at Rick at the end, just to brush it off with “he didn’t go through with it” (especially Pudgey going “blah blah blah” with that roll of her eyes). I don’t care to force an opinion down anyone’s throat, but like…. Wtf is actually going on at this point? And yes, Shane did flat out lie to Lori about Rick being dead. He didn’t tell her “I don’t think he would’ve survived,” he straight up told her he was dead. Period. Much love tho lmao

DominaZeta

Listen, feel free to like whichever characters you want (as we all do), but your total bias towards Shane is wild. Blaming Lori for all of an adult man’s actions and choices?! Read this in Shane’s voice: “Lemme tell you somethin’, just because I say some shit emphatically, that don’t make it true.”

Ludus Aurea

Can’t wait to tune in for the season finale to see the rationalizing lol.

Cam

You guys are entitled to liking shane and i understand why you do, he is the necessary cut throat in this world and he is very charming. He reminds me a lot of Joel in the last of us, who the whole world loves no matter who he kills to protect ellie. He’s willing to do anything and everything to protect the ones he loves. That being said, Lori is not responsible for coddling him and validating the reality he made up in his mind of what their relationship was. She’s being real on what it was for her, which was grieving her husband and needing someone to grieve him with. She’s not responsible for his outbursts or reactions to her telling him the truth. Shane is a killer and his temperment is not her responsibility, no matter how he rationalized his bad actions to save her and her child.

Montae Williams

Shane isn’t THE ONLY reason Carl & Lori are alive. Sure initially but the hunters and ppl making the runs are the only reason they ate. Shane didn’t feed them. And he’s been wrong about multiple things too. If Rick wasn’t draining his body of blood, Carl would’ve def died. If they stayed at camp like Shane suggested or gone to Fort Benning without looking for Sophia they would’ve all died - especially without food / weapons. Also… I don’t like Shane telling Lori what she felt. He’s being just as delusional as he accuses Rick of. If it wasn’t real for her it wasn’t real. Disappointing. Sure. But stop obsessing it’s only making things worse.

macc61

Too many commenters hating on Shane. I was a fan of his until.......stay tuned.

Nate

Lori repeated everything that Shane said back to Rick. That isn’t manipulation that’s her telling the truth. Also, why act like Shane pointing the gun at Rick is nothing? Him even thinking for a second about killing his “best friend” is crazy.

Golden Hotdog

Such a refreshing perspective on things. Shane is so overhated. Shane is the reason why this group has made it as far as they have. They are all living in this idealistic world when they need to face the brutal reality.

Jarrica Hennigan

The fact that yall are blaming Lori for Shane actions and calling her the problem is funny… newsflash my delusional reactors Shane and Lori are the problems!

Jarrica Hennigan

At this point you 2 are being delusional on purpose cause ain’t no way… you can like Shane but still understand when he over steps the line of no return… it’s not Lori job to coddle Shane when she has a husband and a son to worry about guys

Jarrica Hennigan

😂😂😂😂😂😂 they think Shane and Andrea is gonna ride off in the sunset that’s how delusional these 2 are about Shane 😂😂😂😂… stay tuned 😉

Josh Ashford

Think these are the most controversial walking dead reactions I've seen and it's only the 2nd season haha, don't get me wrong, like whoever you like, I love villain characters which is why Shane was one of my favourites too but I didn't try to justify his actions lol, he's turning into a piece of shit. I agree with Dale to an extent, just cause the world falls apart around you doesn't mean you have to let it drag you down with it. Still loving these reactions nonetheless

neutchain

I mean I kinda agree with you but she did sleep with him until Rick came back then she threw him away. Understandably so but she did threw him away.

Divinerights

I will never forget the daggers in Shanes eyes pointing the gun at his BEST FRIEND Rick

Ririn

they react in a completely authentic way... their opinions. Thanks for your reactions! I love it. You have your own way of seeing certain characters, and that makes all the difference :)

macc61

People who know outcomes comment accordingly. I remember rooting for Shane to work out differences and be group leader with best friend. Opinions change as story plays out though.

Lores

How is Lori the bad guy when shes verbatim repeating what Shane said?

DominaZeta

Nope, sorry, I have the same opinion of Shane now as I did on my first watch years ago. I can agree with him on a couple of points sometimes, but overall I think he's unhinged and therefore dangerous to our group.

Synthetic_CK

Keep that energy when it's you getting shot and left for bait.

Finn Horwell

I like the alternate take on shane in the series so far. Rick being the emotional leader while shane being the practical leader. Lori acts way out of line often and the coaxing at the end is a huge request from her. I cant wait for you guys to see the rest of this season. It goes crazy very soon

pilbil

I wanna say this, I don't think Lori is in the wrong in regards to how she treats shane. at the end of the day he did lie twice about rick's safety. She continually places up boundaries to distance herself from him, and he violates them. On several occasions since Rick's return she has told this man "I DONT WANT YOU" and he's not listened. I think ppl just trust shane more bc he wasn't the one committing the adultery. But he's just as morally grey as Lori, if not, more so.

pilbil

why are you dry spoiling

pilbil

if it were for shane, the group would be dead a long time ago trying to get to fort benning.

pilbil

wdym? was the attempted rape on lori not enough to end you fanatacism?

pilbil

I wrote this comment before finishing the end of the episode. But in the convo lori has with rick at the end, it was not at all manipulative. She literally just told him what shane told her. She's literally giving a FACTUAL account of what has happened with shane, and gave her thoughts. That's not remotely manipulative, i think yall just didn't like hearing it lol. Also, nothing about how Shane is acting is on Lori. Rick returned, and Lori has told him several times since that she sees no romantic or sexual connection with him. I completely understand her saying "it's not real" bc it literally wasnt. they had a trauma bond then fucked each other. that's not a real relationship, nor would this have happened if the world didn't end. Lori is definitely a flawed character, but I don't think she's as nefarious as yall are suggesting.

pilbil

From Lori's perspective. She was fucking on the guy who saved her and her kid from the end of the world. Just to find out it was a lie (yes, it was lie. Just bc it's UNDERSTANDABLE, doesn't mean Shane didn't withhold information from Lori that wouldve changed her thoughts. which is a lie). So she sets boundaries and tells shane that she wants distance from him for her family. Then he tries to rape her at the CDC. Then Shane has had more than one convo with trying to get clarity, AND SHE PROVIDES IT by saying she doesn't feel the same (rejection is a valid response, just bc its hurtful doesn't man shes doing anything bad). THEN shane lies again, after knowing Lori doesn't like lies specifically referring to Rick's safety to get her back. Lori has communicated herself incredibly clear to shane. Shane is just a fucking obsessed psycho, so any conversation with Lori he will take as the two of them should be closer. Every convo Shane has had with Lori regarding their relationship she's told this man she doesn't want him. And those conversations have only gotten him crazier.

macc61

No rape attempt there. He was aggressive but after she hit him he stopped. Nope. A future action does not justify hate for Shane yet.

Johnny_Raincloud

Of all the reaction channels I've seen of this show....I can't remember seeing anything like this 😂

Johnny_Raincloud

Lol Shane has literally said that the baby's his, Lori's his., and that they're meant to be together. Shane murdered a man and left him to die the most brutal death. Shane aimed his shotgun at Rick and held him in the sights. Shane also sexually assaulted Lori at the CDC. Lol Shane is not a good guy.....Shane's a bad guy. If Shane killed Rick would you guys give him a pass for wanting what's best for Lori and Carl? Great reaction though, really. Very enjoyable

Julien

lol finally watched this. Our reactors’ total infatuation with Shane is something. Echoes of Breaking Bad and how they were completely unable to understand for like 3 seasons that Skyler’s concerns about her lying, gaslighting, drug-dealing husband were entirely right. In this last scene, Lori is 1000000% correct. Shane thinks someone else’s family is his because he got to be dad and protector for a few weeks. This is profoundly deranged. How is this even a debate? How is *she* -- who does not want to *belong* to Shane -- at fault??

Julien

I don’t even know how to wrap my mind around this.

AzKayla .

he literally put his hand under her dress and wouldn’t stop when she clearly was trying to get away and telling him to stop….are you okay? that was sexual assault and you’re the only person i’ve seen to even try and deny that

macc61

I disagree. He loved her and wouldn’t rape her as he did not.

AzKayla .

what do you mean you disagree just look at the scene 💀 Like you can say what you want but the evidence is literally in the episode

AzKayla .

and it doesn’t matter if he didn’t he TRIED TO. She said stop and he still tried to get in her pants.

macc61

Okay. Hard to see here on reaction video. I’m going on memory here, will watch it again tonite. It would explain her telling Rick how dangerous Shane is in ep9. But at this point in season 2 I remember wondering which way Shane would go still hoping for him to overcome his demons. I’m afraid to mention future acts here so as not to spoil it for Spartan and Pudgy. Enjoy this though hope you do too.

Kris Brown

Shane epitomizes the loss of humanity. He is brutal, unempathetic, and free from/lacks the ethical “shackles” that seem deeply encoded in Rick’s DNA. Shane is the prototypical villain of this show and Lori (or perhaps Dale) is the first to realize this. Whether you like her or not, she is not wrong and the means by which she told Rick is most likely the only way he’d listen to her (i.e. post-sex pillow talk). Call it manipulation if you want, but Rick is blinded by the friendship/brotherhood he had with pre-apocalypse Shane and, IMO, Lori is right to do whatever she has to do to get Rick to wake up to the new reality of who his friend has become.

Branden Findeisen

How can it "be real" if it was all under false pretenses?

Branden Findeisen

It was the same "white lie" as "they're already back".

Dandy Means

People need to relax and let them form there own opinions from the information they have at the time they don't have the knowledge we do I actually like their takes and have thought them my self when I first watched the show thanks spartan and pudgey appreciate the content!

Frank

Bingo, Hotdog. Shane, is not perfect. His presentation as Andrea said is a huge problem. The ole you sugar vs vinegar saying. The group would be far more receptive to his solutions to problems with a different presentation. He let's his emotions dictate his actions way too much. He is dangerous to the group because of all of that, however, so is Rick's delusions of still making decisions based on a idealistic world that no longer exists. I would argue Rick is even more dangerous to the group's safety. Shane is the only reason this group is not dead or severely reduced in numbers. And Lori, well my personal opinion is she is on of the biggest problems this group has. Bigger than Rick and Shane combined. Gaslighter. Selfish. Manipulative. Instead of deescalating and attempting to cultivate and mend a partnership between Shane and Rick, and utilizing the brutal tactics of Shane and the empathy and ethics of Rick and Shane's leadership together; she sows dissention between them. Hot and cold. Terrible decision making. No regard for her baby or her son. She talks like she does everything for them, but her actions tell a different story. And absolutely zero accountability. The very definition of wanting your cake and eating it too. There is one common denominator, and it isn't Shane or Rick.

Lillian Davis

Everything Lori said was true lol

JRW

Lori didn’t twist anything!!! He keeps telling her Rick will get them killed because he wants Rick out of the way. That’s his goal. She is actually scared of him! And she should be at this point. Y’all are just objectively wrong. And you’re becoming MORE team Shane as time goes on which is wild. I’ve NEVER seen anyone go this hard for Shane. Y’all scary. 😅
