Hey everyone! We just wanted to post this as a reminder that our uncut reactions require syncing up your own copy of the show/movie. We have been getting a lot of comments and messages that we were not clear about this and our intention being to deceive the public in order to gain members.Attached is a clear outline of what has ALWAYS been on our membership descriptions and we wanted to solidify the fact that we never want to deceive our audience. This description is outlined on ALL tier descriptions and we advise that you READ everything BEFORE you sign up in order to be satisfied with your purchase. It's a shame you had to make this post. Some people just can't take responsibility for their decisions. They clearly didn't bother to read the description and want to blame someone other than themselves. People are also horribly entitled.

I see some people ask for full uncut. Sounds risky to me although it is true some others have done it for a while seemingly with no issues. Streamable.com seems to be one option. Even so I don't mind finding my own copy as long as syncing is not too hard. So to that end some suggestions to make syncing less of a hassle. 1. Clearly state the source and version of the source you are watching. So for instance in the case of movies (should you ever do those) include if it is the theatrical, extended, directors cut etc. 2. Indicate the total run time (helps lock in that people have the right version with matching run time) 3. Have a countdown to the start of the source and "countdown starts soon" notice in the form of subtitles edited in. 4. Some counters in the edges help too (run time left, time remaining right seems popular) 5. Add some resync spots in the video. Spots where for a brief time (5-10 secs) max you show the video unblurred+sound. Enough for people to re-adjust their copy (does not have to be long) It's a wee bit more work but could help people.

yup, The Walking Dead isn't on any streaming service here in NZ :(( Either just pirate it or sync it via those free movie/TV websites, NZ laws aren't really that strict on pirating.

It always seemed perfectly clear to me both before and during signup, don't know what peoples problem is. Personally I think full uncut videos is to big a risk, especially in Oz. And absolutely loving The Expanse uncut reactions, first time I've actually bothered with uncut, but having no problem syncing the reaction.

The way they do it is even better than having a countdown or resync spots. They show a segment of the video. Its super easy to sync it.

It’s definitely very clear that this is the case so I’m sorry people are complaining. With TWD I did have this weird issue during season 1 where the version I was watching (on Amazon) was ever so slightly sped up which made syncing difficult and I had to keep adjusting, but luckily Season 2 seems perfectly fine, the system you guys use works perfectly well, ty!

I’ve been around here long enough to confirm it’s always been this way with every reaction: first the uncut version, then the regular one. Anyone saying you’re trying to deceive people is either missing information or simply doesn’t know how you work. S&P, patience mode on, you got this! 😅

Can confirm it has always been a watch-a-long format. Although I do wish they would just show the content like others do. A Large number of both big and small channels show the full content. This channel is becoming the exception not the norm in that respect. But I'm here for the reactions none the less haha <3

Tons of channels post their full uncut reactions on Patreon without issue and have for years. They post the videos on Vimeo or some other non-YT host. I have never seen a single channel get a trouble for this. But a bunch of fear-mongering scaredycats here discouraged S&P from doing the same when they publicly explored the issue a while back. 🤷‍♂️

Its because the copyright laws in Australia are different. Carlie and ange have to do the same thing with alot of shows. I haven't liked it from the start but I still support them

I dont mind that much but you could look for alternative sources to do uncuts, some other reactors doing it without hiding the screen and audio and it works just fine, takes away the need to sync too

Watching the perfect mix TWD reaction and they have the full screen showing for every episode.. not sure how or if they can get in trouble for it but the other Patreons I’m subscribed to all show the full screen for all movies and TV shows.. But ya people need to read what they’re signing up for or ask if they’re confused! The walking Dead’s on Canadian Netflix if you have a VPN. Still loving the reactions🤙🏼

Honestly i'm pretty baffled this even needed to be said. Most people know that it's illegal to post full length version of the actual media, and the way you do it is pretty much the "industry standard" for full length reactions.

Yes, it’s illegal to show full length even behind a paywall. But Patreon doesn’t auto scan for this, so it relies on users to report it. I still wouldn’t risk it.

Just a quick fyi for people, while it is cool and convenient to watch other patrons content where they just upload full footage, the only way they're able to do that undetected is cos I don't believe Patreon has an automatic tool that detects copyrighted material unlike youtube, which means that for their content to be flagged an actual owner of the copyright would have to pay to get to the content, meaning its obviously hidden, but its still very much infringement. Those patrons likely wouldn't be having a good time if Patreon decided to implement such a tool, so if they do (and they very well may one day), S&P won't be affected. In terms of links its still infringement, and obviously copyright laws in different countries are different so nothing wrong with caution and security. Someone correct me if I'm wrong
