As unstable as Rick was for a while, losing his best friend and wife and people he came to care about, Morgan went absolute batshit blaming himself for his wife and his son's deaths. Any time someone's written their guilt all over the walls, they're not in a good place. It's nice to see Rick slowly warming up to Michonne and giving her the trust she earns. And then Michonne giving Carl his space and keeping a loose follow distance to ensure he's okay but letting him do what he needs to do just shows how good of a person she is.

This episode is so beautifully written, with all the foreshadowing and background story telling. One of my favorite episodes for people to react to.

Beautiful episode and reaction as always ! I was looking forward see how you would react to the morgan re-introduction. I think Morgan was just at his breaking point of PTSD just like rick was experiencing for a brief time at the prison which just didn't allow him to be in the headspace to come back with them plus the points he shared about the prisons security/need for a lot of weapons. I like some of TWDs soundtracks too "Lead me home" is one of my favourites. It probably doesnt directly link to the previous episodes title "Home" but I always had it in my head that it tied into it somehow 😂 I also agree that the ending is and has been for a while showing how the world they're in has made them desensitised and lose trust in humanity altogether. Only stopping to pick up the backpack as an additional resource from the same guy who was begging for a ride. Very iconic representation.

This is one of my favourite episodes of all time in any show . Rick and Morgan’s actors were just unbelievable in this episode and imo the writers made it perfect. Michonne is of my favourite characters of all time and my second favourite female character behind Jinx and I definitely agree with you guys that Rick saw what he could end up if he continued the path he was going down.

This episode had me teary eyed. Morgan begging Rick to kill him was so sad. Something tells me that Morgan still wants to live because he hadn't taken his own life yet. I was thinking this is just like a war when they stopped to pick up the dead man's backpack off the road. It reminded me of in Saving Private Ryan when Tom Hank's character tells the soldiers to grab guns and ammo from dead soldiers. It is just an automatic thing after awhile. You do have to become desensitized to a point to be able to survive. I really am starting to love Michonne even more. I really enjoyed her reaction with Carl. I am glad she is starting to open up and trust more.

This episode is perfect! Wouldn't change a thing about it. I could rewatch the scene between Morgan and Rick over and over and over and never get bored wow they're so talented

Rick is such a great character and a diplomatic man. He is a leader and decision maker, but he still looks to ppl for assurance or affirmation. I guess you have to as a good leader. Like he needed to be seen/understood by Michonne. He needed Carl to sign off on her. He needed closure with Morgan.

I’m so glad you guys appreciate the slower episodes - so many just want constant conflict and zombies but that’s not what makes this show so great. The characters and the storyline do. Thanks for a great reaction - can’t wait for the rest ☺️

This is probably my favourite episode of TWD for a lot of the reasons you guys mentioned. Everything since the start of season three has been super crazy which draws a lot of focus to Woodbury and the Prison. I love this episode because its like you finally get to breathe a bit but also focuses on some more niche characters and story lines. Its also great to see Morgan again. I think for the first time everyone had the same reaction as you, we knew about him but it was completely forgotten in the chaos of this season! Like he was THE first survivor we meet in the entire story he feels super important. Great reaction once again.

What’s crazy (at least for me) to think about, is those Rick & Morgan scenes are two excellent British actors. First time I saw a TWD actor panel, my jaw dropped at the number of Brits who completely fooled me into thinking they were from the American South! 😀

One of my favourite episodes. Lovely to see Morgan again and Andy and Lennie James are so good together. Plus, I love seeing Carl and Michonne bonding and her opening up a little to him and Rick. Her eating the food and saying "the mat said welcome" always makes me laugh. Plus, Morgan telling Carl to never apologise for having to shoot is so sad when you think he's wishing his own son had been able to shoot like Carl could.

first ep with my favorite trio michonne rick and carl! it's also the first ep where michonne starts to show her personality a bit more because she puts all these guards up but she's truly just a softie on the inside😭 I remember being so happy to see morgan again but I was so heartbroken that he wasn't coming with them.
