This show is too good.🤯 Criminally underrated in my opinion😔

guys, the conversation about the "blood sacrifice" doesn't mean one of the hosts. Timeline is more or less from what we know so far... Arnold and Ford created the idea, the park, and the hosts. Then, Arnold dies so Ford owns 100%. Ford needs more money or for whatever reason, opens the company up for investments and gets a board of directors who answer to shareholders. Ford now owns 51% (minimum) of the company and the board holds the other 49%. The board wants to get rid of Ford, but he owns the rights to everything. They want to remove those IP rights from him, convince him to step down, and I'm guessing start their own park, so... they want to stage one of the robot hosts killing a real human guest, make a bad PR thing, and then once they own the rights, make their own "new" and "safer" park where they get all the profits and don't have to share with Ford using his own idea.

Nutters

exceptional plot twist! When ford mentioned a blood sacrifice, he was letting Teresa know that he was aware of their conversation, after all the director did have a paused host in her bed during it. It was ford's sly way of telling her he knew what the board was up to, and he told her not to meddle. I feel kinda bad for her, stuck between a rock and a hard place.

well, yup, not what i was expecting

“Doesn’t look like anything to me”. I love this show so much; awesome reaction

The twists in this show are something else...

Branden Findeisen

haha, Bernard doesn't have a wife! It's all implanted/coded memories. The video call only 'happened' in his mind.

Is it underrated? S1 was quite popular and everyone who watched it says its amazing. It's just that post S1 it's not really the same show.

It’s fun watching you guys go through all the thoughts and theories we all had watching this air live ! One of my favorite seasons of TV ever!

I don’t understand why you guys keep saying Delores is not real?? She is real in every sense of the word at this point in the story. Physically she is just as real as a human, and mentally she has gained self autonomy and developing a self conscience. This is the first time in the show/story that Delores is making her own decisions and following her own heart. Which is what makes that emotional scene between her and William so profound. She was programmed to love teddy but for the first time she is choosing who she loves. She was also programmed to be a virgin who was defiled and r*ped by the guests and never got to experience sex on her own terms until this moment where she chose it for the first time. I feel like you guys are missing a lot of the nuance and emotional notes by overthinking the hosts as “not real” it defeats the purpose of the show Same with clementine. Yes she did cry. It’s been established enough times now in the show that the hosts retain memories and some level of awareness of what is happening to them even when they are “wiped” so yes clementine knew what was happening to her and her body was fighting to show her pain in any way it could while not being able to move or speak. That single tear is a representation of all her unexpressed pain and grief. She was lobotomized. You are meant to have an emotional reaction to that happening to her. And that’s why the Bernard reveal is so important in synthesizing that point because you’ve been taught to consider Bernard human since the start of the show, because of this you empathize with him, you relate to him, you FEEL for him. The reveal is supposed to make you see that there is no real line between humans and hosts, it’s all a matter of perception. It’s exactly as ford said that Theresa would be willing to destroy Bernard as a host but made him her lover and respected colleague as a human. And it’s extremely twisted poetic justice to then have him destroy her.

Gummybear

Ford killed one person which you find brutal but the directors and the board members and guests have no problem killing and brutalizing the hosts. Sure they can be stitched up and brought back to life but is that any better? They view their lives and suffering as meaningless but what separates them from the hosts really? It’s like ford said, that Theresa would’ve destroyed Bernard without a second thought after finding out he’s a host. Why is her life more significant than his? Ford is revealing that hypocricy. What he did may be brutal but it’s almost more fair because in that he’s treating them as equals and applying brutality to both sides

Dude, relax. This is their first time watching the show. Let them discover it on their own. Stop.

Gummybear

Excuse me? I didn’t say anything that interferes with them discovering it on their own. This is alls tuff covered in this episode. And I am completely relaxed? Just offering commentary and analysis like everyone does in the comments sections of reactions. If you don’t like it keep it pushing

DRnotz

A lot of the stuff you were ranting about is explores further in upcoming episodes. And yea, you heard me lol. Relax. I remember having the same conflicted thoughts my first time watching the show. It’s part of the process. And yes others comment about the show but usually aren’t telling them how they should feel. So yea it came off a bit condescending and rude.
