Daryl is taking Beth under his wing like a little sister. And Pudgey is correct, that's definitely the Claim Crew that Rick ran into in the house. Can't wait for the next episode, one of the best of the series.

There was certainly a subset of the internet that was shipping Daryl and Beth, and there was a lot of controversy around whether or not that was even appropriate. Regardless of what they are, I do love their relationship and hate that they were separated in this episode!!

Honestly I always attributed this to a similar thing to what’s happening with Sasha/Tyreese, where she’s kind of afraid to face the question of Beth. She believes Glenn will be alive because of how resourceful and capable he’s proven himself to be in the past. Beth, though? If she hadn’t been paired up with Daryl there is a good chance she wouldn’t have survived the fall of the prison.
