Poor Pudgey 😭 I knew the two crashes were coming and I was trying to yell through the screen to look away lol

Stéphanie Autexier

Hey guys in the zombie category Train to Busan is indeed great 👍 you might also want to check out Zack Snyder’s remake of Dawn of the dead (2004) both the original (George Romero’s) and this one are classics. And of course Dany Boyles 28 days later (2002) walking dead’s writer claims he never saw it before publishing the first issue in 2003 but you might find some weird similarities between those 2 ! (On the plus side you get to see young Cillian Murphy / Tommy Shelby in it 😎) Enjoy 😉

Christopher

Wrong zombie movie. Watch Shaun of the Dead

Olive_Sandy

Top tier movie love it 🥰

Daniel

Damn who knew yall be reacting to one of my fav zombie movies, thanks guys 😋

SpXek

Not to get political but I never realized til I grew up that this movie was heavy Israel propaganda. I still enjoy the movie though !

Rosemary

yes I notice a lot of this when I rewatch a lot of Hollywood films, its honestly sick how long they've been trying to shove that down our throats and don't apologize you're not being political just stating a fact ❤️

Rosemary

omgg the best surprise ever thank you guys I've been craving a movie with y'all and this is a great one especially if you pay extra close attention

Kyle Naylor

I know you said its on the radar, but i need to say train to Busan is a must watch in the zombie genre

MO

we need more christopher nolan movies!

Kelschman

This movie is okay, not my favorite but willing to watch along with S&P and give it another chance. Admittedly my negative feelings are probably from comparing it to the MASSIVELY superior book 😂 still begging someone to give it a proper adaptation because this movie was not that. As far as zombie movies, I would highly recommend Dawn of the Dead (both the original and the remake), Day of the Dead (original) and 28 Days Later

EasternWestman

There are subversive themes and elements in almost all Hollywood products. Some subtle, some not so subtle. You won't notice it until you really start to look for it. It's like the movie They Live when you put on the glasses and suddenly you see it everywhere.

Cherrie

Dawn of the Dead, Train to Busan, Warm Bodies (very different take!), I Am Legend (always scares the crap out of me, lol)

Hans Engelen

Did she say "zombies in the background" ... oh dearie me. Nope not this flick ...

Elora D. Dragneel

Train to Busan is my fav Zombie movie! I can't wait to see you guys react to it. Poor Pudgey :( those onscreen crashes are brutal. I don't think this movie is worth her having to sit through those without warning 😭totally forgot they existed until this rewatch

Rosemary

for my fellow Americans that don't have Netflix au peacock version also syncs

Jill

28 Days Later/28 Weeks Later, Dawn of the Dead (2004), I Am Legend is amazing, not exactly zombies but pretty zombie-adjacent. For zombies with humour, Shaun of The Dead is unparalleled and I enjoy Zombieland too, it’s fun.

Aya

I know people said Train to Busan and thats a good pick but I also think Dawn of the Dead the 2004 one would be a fun one for yall to react to. That movie is just pure popcorn entertainment. But this was a great reaction. Glad Pudgy was able to push through. I had a feeling it was gonna be difficult for her. Also W Spartan for locking in in moments like that. As someone with ptsd sometimes loved ones just don't get how serious it is. It was really nice to see you try and help navigate that moment. You guys are the best!

Yoshio

Thank you, I came here to figure this out

Mama Browsss

Train to Busan!!!! I’m not a zombie person either, at least I wasn’t until I started TWD. Never watched World War Z before either but always meant to.. so let’s go!

Daniel

Spartan if you are loving the zombies genre and you like the zombie video games I recommend you playing Left 4 Dead 2. AKA the best zombie video game of all time, came out around 2009 and is still pretty active today on steam. Here is the intro to the first game, yeah you could play the first one but the second game already comes with all the maps from the first one lol https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8SPWsmasgXU

mjenkinsify

They died like everybody else in the movie what’re you on about lol?

Matt

This says uncut for me, but it's definitely the edited version. Is the uncut version somewhere else?

SpXek

Israel happens to build a massive wall around their country and are the last saviors of the world, they are so generous that they even let "palestinians" inside. The little girl who starts singing is a palestinian, and causes all the zombies outside the wall to climb over and get them all killed. Here's the thing, Israel would never let Palestinians inside those walls, even when this movie came out ALSO in the book the person who lets the zombies inside the wall is a far-right israeli terroist who goes to blow up the wall in retaliation for letting Palestinians inside the safe zone. So the directors were FOR SURE paid by Israel to change the script or they themselves were fans of Israel, because they directly changed the story. This is really effective propaganda on israel's part, its subtle, but I watched this as a kid and heard about israel for the first time in a zombie movie, and I thought it looked like a cool place.

Allen Pass

Pretty sure they are watching the theatrical version. The uncut version does not seem to sync up at all with theirs.

Matt

No, like the video they've posted is edited and cut down cuz it's only just over an hour long. It's not the full film cuz the full film is just under 2 hours long.

AppleML

"not to get political but heres my political statement"

SpXek

Yeah I mean, sure, it is political, fuck Israel and this movie is pure Israel propaganda, and that's been well known since it released.

Alan

yeah I can't find the full reaction either. just the edited one that is just over 1 hour.

Hamad

You really think that’s political ? 😂

gusti

Less than 1 hour uncut version? what the hell?

Paul Rendon

I’m not understanding what your solution is can you explain a greater detail please?

Paul Rendon

I mean, your criticism would make sense if wernt Israel we’re talking about. You know some made up BS country.

Paul Rendon

So this is clearly not uncut. TF?

Nathan Jasper

youtube edit. not sure where the full is

Daniel

This was clearly uncut, I watched the whole thing with them idk how it went from uncut to an edited version, weird🤔

MO

Google chrome -> open reaction in seperate tab -> open developer tools -> type in "$("video").playbackRate=0.96" or "$("video").playbackRate=1.04166" depending on if the reaction is too fast or to slow

Tyler Janes

Resident Evil is a great franchise!

Gavin Hunley

If only it got picked up by HBO.. I read the book and definitely wish it got at least 10 episodes, but I still LOVE this movie!

Gavin Hunley

It's honestly more accurate than not - saying they "would never let Palestinians inside those walls" doesn't stand up to historical evidence.. but it's impossible to say since it's a zombie fiction. I do agree that pro-israel messaging in Hollywood is too much, but you seem a little radicalized by recent events.

Gavin Hunley

Hell yea, this is my favorite zombie movie! I hope they do a series one day that is closer to the story in the book.

Hamad

How can you not be radicalized after seeing the brutality of the last two years

Nathan Jasper

Definitely check out the 28 Days Later series. That's some of the best zombie/infected material out there. Last of Us season 2 of course as well lol Resident Evil series is great for just mindless fun. Night of the Living Dead is the ultimate though. Even though it's black and white, it holds up. Train to Busan, absolutely. Shaun of the Dead is a good parody of the zombie genre. Zombieland 1 & 2 are excellent horror-comedy films. Spartan since you said you're in a military and zombie phase, Overlord would be a good choice as it's a mix of both! A good kid-level horror would be Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island. I Am Legend and The Omega Man are good choices too. The Crazies is a different approach but decent. Not one of my personal favorites though. Army of the Dead and Army of Thieves would be good. Maggie is a good drama about a dad trying to save his kid post-infection. And if you want something from like... 18th century, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies is a fun parody of both zombies and Jane Austen. So there's all my recommendations for ya lol
