Jacob

time to watch your reaction to this for a second time

Jacob

skipped ahead a little… the particle things henry saw after that stone absorbed into him was the mind flayers particles, hence the mind flayer gave vecna his powers

I had a lot of the same feelings as Spartan about the finale and season 5 overall. I think the finale had a satisfying enough ending in terms of providing closure for the characters. But I was left wanting a little more in terms of exploring the other world and thought a couple of the writing decisions were a bit "lazy". I'd say the writing choice that bothered me the most in the finale was the complete absence of the other creatures in the upside down as well as the other world. Where the hell were all the demigorgons and the bats? I've seen a couple funny memes that show pics of Vecna getting his head chopped off and the Demigorgons in Hawaiian t-shirts with drinks in their hands on vacation lol. Their complete absence in both the other world and the upside should have been explained/addressed somehow. They could have shown a quick scene of them getting dissolved into goo like in the third season and they could have merged with the Mindflayer or something. At least that would have been a quick way to explain why they were all MIA. It's as if the writers forgot that they existed lol

Loren

I’m really glad you guys liked the ending. There’s a lot of hate going around about the series finale, but honestly, you can’t please everyone. It’s not a perfect ending, but I love that they took the time to say goodbye to the characters and give us some kind of closure. El’s situation definitely broke my heart, I really wish they had confirmed she’s alive, but either way, I choose to believe she is. Even so, it’s still sad to think she might never be able to be with them again. This show has truly been a roller coaster, full of highs and lows, so many emotions, moments of anger, sadness, frustration, and so, so much love for the characters. And I think that’s what makes a series truly special. We’re ending this here, but we can always come back and rewatch the episodes whenever we miss them. Amazing reaction as always, but now… could you please watch something that i watch, so i have an excuse to stay here? 😂 Love, love 💖

spartanandpudgey
