Absolute gem of an episode! Great writing and stunning performances. Brilliant.

I love this show. It was definitely made for a certain audience though. Being that you are still enjoying the shows characters and writing, but even more so the ideas it presents; tells me that your part of that specific target audience. If you don’t keep doing reactions, I do hope you’ll watch the rest on your own. (Maybe even give us reaction after viewing on your own)

They really just copied Jim’s brain activity and then pasted it into a host body so this is really just an accurate impression of Jim. THE Jim is completely gone with no further continuation. It’s like if you died, lost all consciousness, and then another near perfect digital clone of you was made afterwards.

The scene with Logan's father hits me hard

I’m glad you guys loves the scene of William so much l it was a great scene.

Such a great episode. The stuff with Delos is really dark. The one thing I don’t love about the thinking of the writers, is that people are just their brain patterns, I believe we are way more than that. But maybe that’s the problem with their little immortality endeavor? They thought they could just copy people by copying their brain patterns. When in reality our consciousness comes from something else. And maybe that’s what separates us from the hosts. Where does our personality go when we die? Would the hosts have an afterlife? Hmmm.

DRnotz

Don’t mind me just rambling to myself lol. I don’t think the show ever considered these things. Just me.

DRnotz

Well that’s the question. Are people just their brain patterns? Or is there something more? I think they were lightly treading around that question here.

spartanandpudgey

those are some good questions and good food for thoughts! thats the point of the show, to have us thinking about our nature and morality

lackingnames

Our consciousness doesnt come from something else though?

This was a fantastic episode.
