To help, we have a range of guiding tools throughout the reaction to help you sync up with us, including a small snippet of the scene to ensure you are in sync.  Any instances in which you see the screen cut, this means we’ve had technical difficulties or have skipped a potential disruptions/bloopers. This means you will need to sync up your copy of the show again, if we are unable to edit these cuts seamlessly into the next scene. An updated timecode will be provided on the screen.  Anytime we pause, there will be timer/countdown on screen to prompt you. So if we’re about to pause, there’ll be a countdown, and you are expected to pause as the number reaches 0. The same will happen when we press play after pausing. You will press play as the number reaches 0.  Here are some popular ways people sync up the reaction with their own copy of the show:

DRIP DROP

Early drops are GOATED

Christopher Lopez

I get so hyped when you guys drop dexter reactions dude ive been snowed in since saturday this is a BLESSINGGGGGGGG

Jackhammer

Dexter covers his face during the murder so that blood does not get on his face. This prevents possible evidence against him, as traces of blood can be found using a special lamp. The victim's chest is also covered with plastic wrap so that the blood does not splash when struck, but only flows out.

Unfortunately, there are nurses and doctors who take patients' lives. Sometimes it is factitous disorder where they try to kill someone and then rush in to be the hero. There are a fewl nurses over the past 15 years or so who have given injections of insulin to babies and the elderly to cause them to go into shock. There are a few doctors in US, UK, and one in France I heard about. Unfortunately, hospitals just get rid of them and they end up somewhere else because if the hospital reports the killers, they can be held liable too. Thankfully it doesnt happen often. We had a nurse who was caught a few years ago in my state that had killed 34+ people. Sad.

Jackhammer

I heard about one such person in my country who killed 14 people in 6 years before being caught.

Lyn Hurst

Very sad. It usually takes a long time to see a pattern and act on it by hospitals and law enforcement. If we werent understaffed in most Healthcare institutions, they could rotate people around to see if deaths slowed down in certain departments when a suspect is assigned to another area. In IT security they give people mandatory days off when they suspect someone of compromising systems. They were away and problems cleared up, voila!

Harry’s nurse was killing patients via slow poisoning and disguising her lethal injections under excessive painkiller doses. That kept the patients from realizing what she was doing to them. She wasn’t trying to help anyone, she was just a serial killer preying on victims who didn’t know better, the album was her trophies similar to Dex’s blood slides. Thanks for another fun reaction guys :)

I love that we have a show for Pudgey to really sink her teeth into. I don't typically hang around for the post show discussions, but I absolutely love getting to hear Pudgey talk more about her thoughts on this and showcase her education and hobby. I like that it feels like the show is even pulling Spartan in, even though this wouldn't be something he normally watches. This show is one of my favorites, its so fascinating and fun. Another show Pudgey would love I think would be Mindhunter on Netflix!

Sharpgirl

"Maybe the Ice Truck killer just wants them to find a PIECEful and Cool future" says Spartan.

Ryan

Rita is so pure. Dex really is a lucky guy. God I love this show...and it never slows down.

Fr0zsztt

More Dexter episodes, that's it! :P

Paul

It's odd to say, but they're both lucky, Dexter may be performative but in effect for her, coming in clutch!

Paul

Love hearing you theorize and analyze the moral dimensions of this show. I think what Dexter said is accurate, to willingly take a life fundamentally creates a disconnect between you and the rest of humanity. Even if it was morally justified. A part of you has to change.

david p

“Look, ice in his car” (pointing out the clearly shattered passenger side glass window) 😂😂

Nate Terry

you guys mentioned in earlier episode about if Dexter targeted women....now you know. his first kill was "the Nurse." lol

Tom

The "special lamp" is just UV light. And it doesn't show blood on its own. You have to spray what in the show they call "Luminol" on the area. It reacts with any blood particles that are there and they becomes florescent under UV light.
