My

I love this episode

Ludus Aurea

Don't be too eager to advance the story, You're gonna be sad before long. Agreed though they did time skip and just totally gloss over Carl recovering. I think you're probably around 6x12 or so now. Also shout out for the Geralt statue in the back, I've been wanting one of those forever.

The whole Rick/Michonne sudden romantic love out of nowhere threw me off. I eventually got used to it but whoever wrote this episode had no freaking experience writing love stories. They should have watched some Outlander or read Court of Thorns first to figure out how romance and chemistry works.

So the reason its a time jump is because they started breaking the seasons up into 2 parts. So although it still says season 6. It originally aired months after that last episode (the crazy one) aired. Essentially that episode was a finale this episode is a premiere

Storm

Craaaazy turnaround time but I’m unbothered 😂

The_Paige_Master

lol thank God for Talking Dead when this show was airing. Cause I remember them saying it’s been maybe 2months if I’m remembering right

Writing captions is a job, so if you’re typing and you don’t have a name, you write man or woman. For example: Man: Were you bit Man: I’m Morgan Morgan: Are you a cop You will see this in later episodes, with new characters. The captions will read man or woman until someone says their name, then the captions will change from man or woman to their name.

Richonne! 🫶🏼😍 And I love your reactions to Jesus being introduced 😂 I had an exact blend of your reactions when I first saw it where I equal parts loved/was thrilled by him and also was totally confused by his ‘Houdini-ness’ 😂

Jakob Anderson

If you genuinely believe this came out of the blue then you haven't been watching my friend. They had chemistry since they first met way back in season 3 lol

It Makes Their Meeting Extra Special... The First Time Rick Met Michonne, She Was Bringing Baby Formula For A Child She Never Knew, Judith. 💁🏿‍♀️♥️ She Showed Her Mother Qualities Right From The Start And She Was Always Loyal To Rick And Carl Over Anyone Else 💯

Alex Pearson

at 13:17, Enid and Carl are reading Invincible comics!!

Tylor Stafford

Apparently they didn’t get it, he’s Jesus 😅

Alan

So, I love that initial comment about them always having gas/petrol. Because yeah, I get you'd think they'd find more, but honestly by season 3-4 all the gas in the whole world would have gone bad and be unusable.

One thing that I think some people do miss is what Rick meant in 6x9. When he was at Carl bedside and he said that after he knew they had Alexandria again, he felt something inside that it took him a long time to realize what it was, because he hasn't felt it since BEFORE he woke up in that hospital bed. In other words, this feeling, Rick hasn't had since before the world fell. That feeling is HOPE. From the beginning, Rick has NOT had any hope. This was illustrated over and over, from season one, down to when Rick spoke about his lack of hope to Dr. Jenner in the CDC, to when he tells Hershel after the barn episode that it doesn't matter if he and Hershel don't have hope, they have to push forward for everyone else. Rick has held on to 'things are okay right now,' he was always a right now, survive now kind of guy, and that only kept becoming more and more strict as they faced more danger, especially after Terminus, and the Governor and being on the road so long. It's what he carried with him into season 5, with Alexandria and him thinking only about the survival of his people, instead of building a future. Because he didn't believe there WAS one. He once told Carl he only held on to that kind of optimism for his sons sake. But now? Now he FINALLY has hope inside him that had been buried since he first stepped into the apocalypse. Now he wants to show Carl the New World. He wants to actually build and grow it.
