DRIP DROP

Damn bruh I thought this was episode 2 I was hype

Alex Thrailkill

Y’all can NOT READ ANY COMMENTS UNTIL YOU GET THROUGH THE ORIGINAL SIX I’M SO SERIOUS

Ian Mossner

When will episode 2 drop?

BigTim86

So freakin excited for this journey….

BigTim86

Mando and Andor would make me happy.

Forrest

But how will they know not to unless they read your comment?! ha

Alex Thrailkill

Hopefully they already aren’t, or they stop lmao. I feel like SW fans are gonna be more prone to spoiling than most other fans, especially with how little S&P know going in

Seán

uncut next week, edited in a fortnight

Joel D. Castro

So excited for this journey. If you get hooked into the lore would love to see you two tackle Clone Wars, Rebels, Bad Batch, Ahsoka, and Kenobi...besides Mandalorian and Andor (obviously) Would also be curious to see how SW newbies reacts to The Acolyte. Can't wait for the rest.

Isaiah

"Hey, I want a lightsaber" -Spartan Brotha is speaking for all of us as kids who saw this film, lol

K

This was awesome!!! 🙌🏼 can’t wait for ep 2

AvatarJordy

This is awesome. Please take me advice: Include Andor in your movie lineup. It acts as a prequel to Rogue One and really helps set the stage for episodes 4-6!

DominaZeta

The opening ‘text crawl’ intro at the beginning is iconic and felt epic in a theatre… just imagine seeing that text scrolling up into space on a giant screen! Also, I know you will love all the amazing music by John Williams throughout the series, but IV, V and VI are peak. Can't wait!

lackingnames

Padme is absolutely not Elizabeth from Pirates LOL, they don't even look similar.

spartanandpudgey

we will watch it after the movies! too much to do it before

spartanandpudgey

apparently one of the girls acting the decoy was! that's what we saw but then didnt realise the switch up again

Lindsay Mathieson

Yeah, Rogue One is perfectly watchable without Andor. Side Note - actually my favourite SW Movie

Ant Ares

This is awesome cant wait for the next one

Dustin Mikkelsen

Back in the day, there were fan theories that Jar-Jar was secretly a Jedi, or a Sith because his luck is so ridiculous. Also, Padme is portrayed by the legend herself Natalie Portman.

Kai

Oh my god yayyyyyyy! I loved your LotR and Harry Potter reactions and this is such a great surprise! I’m really looking forward to experiencing this journey with you guys 🫶🏼 Also I love that Spartan and Pudgey are Jar Jar Binks stans! 😂 I always thought he is adorable, and RIP Qui Gon 😢 Welcome to the club 😊

Ed

What are you saying?! 😂 Natalie Portman (Padmé) and Keira Knightley (Elizabeth Swan) share a famously uncanny resemblance! People mistake them all the time.

Dirk Diggler

When Gen Z watches the Prequels they seem to react the way Lucas assumed the rest of us would. Obviously, if you recall, there was a lot of hate for Jar Jar.

Ghostcat

keira knightely is in this movie AND is padme's double...

Dirk Diggler

those theories were jokes, I don't really think anyone thought that.

Sam EDM

Don't sleep on the music either guys. Its like some of John Williams best work, it's very deliberate in how it frames each scene and one of the best things about Star Wars honestly.

Dirk Diggler

You guys are going to run your channel the way you want, and I am sure you have a lot of insight and think things through. That being said, I really wish you would do these Star Wars movies every week instead of every two weeks. There are 11 stand alone films, and you said you are going to watch at least Andor if not some of the other series. At this pace you won't be done with the movies until September and then two seasons of Andor will probably take you to the end of the year. At that point you will probably want to move on and find new things for the channel... I just feel like there is so much material like Clone Wars and Rebels that you would be more likely to react to if you got to it earlier. And you will soon see that Star Wars reactions make a channel blow up, but EVERYONE reacts to the movies and very few react to the shows, especially something like Rebels. I bet that would be a huge boost. Just my three cents!

Garrett Serbin

Star Wars/LOTR/Harry Potter/GOT..... These are the main channel boosters that EVERYONE should do reactions too as fast as possible. (Few others too but you get my point)

Garrett Serbin

Mandalorian Seasons 1 & 2 are really good as well as Andor... Its the only 2 live action T.V. shows ID recommend though.

URxBREATHTAKING

Whoever convinced you to watch this from episode 1 instead of release order really messed up

Richiep

Are you blind lol? Kieron Knightly and Natalie portman are literally the spit of each other . They could be twins

Richiep

Kenobi and Ashsoka were so bad, such a disappointment

K

The reaction was great 👍

Joel D. Castro

Honestly, their reactions are the fun part. Whether something is good or bad, it’s interesting to see how newcomers respond to it. I was very surprised by how much they liked Jar Jar, given how reviled he was back in the day. So I say show them everything and see what happens.

Ludus Aurea

Pirates is Keira Knightley. This is Natalie Portman. Natalie herself has said that people get them confused.

Raffalius

Better to watch in this order 1 - 6. Episode 3 reveal is much better than episode 5 reveal.

Rockstar

Not at all. Stop being Star Wars toxic. It’s anime level

spartanandpudgey

once we get momentum we may be able to upload them more frequently if all goes well with copyright and editing. we'll do our best!

Athraxz

Once you're done with the movies, you definitely need to watch the clone wars and rebels series if you want more lore

Stripping Poets

YES!!! Second this. Clone wars is the best.

Austin

I second this, especially with a franchise like Star Wars 😅

K

Keira played padme’s decoy in this movie

Ludus Aurea

Oh you're right, maybe I misunderstood who they were referring to.

Ludus Aurea

Eh it's fine. Although, it's a lol that they instantly figured out who Sidious is without even seeing the OT yet. I've literally watched reactors who have seen the original trilogy sit there and act confused throughout all 3 movies. Like, are y'all ok?

Ludus Aurea

Don't forget to check out some fan made stuff like the ERB Vader vs Hitler or Bad Lip Reading songs after you finish the first 6 movies. lol.

Wadey

Loved it, excited to see the rest of the series reactions!

Jay

Really wish yall did it release order, ending with Revenge of the Sith is the best way to do it. Regardless I’m sure the reactions will be great

Joseph Wells

When we getting attack of the clones? Friday?

J

Since you're starting from 1, you may aswell watch Rogue One right after Revenge of the Sith (best one btw), to lead you into A new Hope. Also..... I would definitely skip the last (newer) 7 - 9 movies as they are utter garbage and it's well known. Or if you insist at least leave them for after you guys do the Andor TV show and The Mandalorian. The main 6 movies and Rogue one (maybe Solo) are the only movies worth watching. But not joking, the "sequel" trilogy is so bad it actually ruins the the whole past story that most people don't consider them cannon. So at least leave them to last because the TV shows are way better than 7 - 9. Trust. Anyone who knows star wars will tell you (it goes past just being bad, they go as far as to ruin the main characters and it's almost out of spite or something it's so disappointing, and the story makes zero sense to the point of being a joke). So long story short, watch the main 6 movies + Rogue One and SOME of the TV shows. The good ones being Andor, Mandalorian, Book of Boba fett (only because of 2 of episodes are crucial for watching the Mandalorian), and Ahsoka. As you can see it's quite complicated. Also anyone telling you to watch the Clone wars TV show, yeah, it's good, but that's 8 or 9 seasons of animation commitment, leave it till the end. Skip the sequel trilogy, it's the will of the force

Hiigara

I'm having some weird deja vu I feel like I have already watched you guys watching this. Pudgy will figure out something in episode 2 and only realise in 3.

Mitchel

what are you talking about this my George Lucas head cannon because he said Jar Jar was the key to the prequels, and he had a habit of mirroring the prequels to the originals. In this case Jar Jar would be the mirror to yoda. But the backlas h was too great Lucas backed out of his original idea.

Mitchel

Lets be honest No real fan would tell you start with episode 1 lol. But its your journey, im here for the ride. I think a lot of us just wanted you guys to have the same thrill and shock value as we did with our first time. The whole interest in reaction channels is to relate to the reactors and re-experience feelings with them.

Mitchel

Fun Fact: Obi vs Darth Maul. They had to slow down the footage in editing cause they were going so fast, You can find videos of their recording online.

J Osceola

It is refreshing to see two people watch this movie for the first time and not be annoyed by Jar Jar. The actor Ahmed Best who played him almost committed suicide from the amount of hate he got for the character he was playing.

Jonathanese

For Ahsoka, they might want to watch a few Clone Wars episodes first. If they do Clone Wars, they should very much NOT do the whole series, but a few selective arcs. I've watched like 20 episodes or so from lists of selective arcs in chronological order, and it's so good. But I have no desire to watch the tons of other filler. Rebels worked pretty well with a full watch, though. Also, I still like seeing reactions to the sequels, if anything to see where they did well and where they fell flat. I rewatched EP8 after a few years of hating on it, and it had some surprising gems sprinkled throughout. I just wish some of the actors were still around for the potential to straight-up just remake the sequels. I'm usually not into remakes soon after a movie comes out, but they could REALLY use it, and PLEASE have it led by George Lucas and Dave Filoni.

Jonathanese

The method they used was super cool, too. I'll be interested to see their reactions to the OT. I bet they'll feel it's a step backwards in some ways, after the meandering political complexity of the prequels. But I think they'll be legitimately astonished at what they were able to achieve in 1977. And the vibe shift is probably the biggest change of all. Nothing beats the general vibe of the OT. But what I'm most excited for with the OT is that they will be hitting it with a TON of context. Like getting a history crash course from the Silmarillion and The Hobbit before watching Lord of the Rings. There are a LOT of little lines that release-order reaction channels mis or dismiss as throwaway lines. I've only done a chronological watch once, but it was actually crazy how rich with depth the OT felt when the prequels were still fresh on the mind.
