HDMI your laptop / tablet to the TV and use the TV as a 2nd monitor (not mirror display)

Saviors this season is top-notch. and the reason they played music, its a form of torture, theres reports of america playing songs on repeat loud in guatanamo bay, songs like katy perry i kissed a girl , and gangnom style or w/e that song was. it gives sleep depervation and messes with you mentally as well.

I don't even think Negan is testing Dwight at this point, I think Dwight feels that he doesn't deserve happiness or rewards for the work he's doing. There's so much guilt and pain in him, really interesting character IMO. Depressing episode, though.

Daryls treatment in this episode kind of reminds me of how jesse was treated in Breaking Bad. The idea to keep playing the song and lock him in solitary confinement was to make him lose his mind and to break his will. A part of me also thinks that they kept contrasting between scenes of daryl and dwight to show how headstrong daryl still is to not buckle under Negan where dwight did the opposite out of fear and what he could lose without surrendering.

I always wondered why has dwight been so moronic to daryl but i feel that daryl's unwillingness to submit to Negan's authority is a walking reminder of where he believes he failed. Still find him a bit hard to read though, one moment he gives daryl advice on surviving in the camp, the next he gives him a sickening snapshot of glenn with dog food. 🤷‍♀️

Imagine being a band member from the group that performed “Easy Street,” you find out that the Walking Dead paid for rights to use your song in an episode, you tell all of your friends, you call your parents, family, then you find out that TWD chose it because it’s the most annoying song in the world and it’s being used to torture a beloved character 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Welcome to the club of people who can never hear Easy Street without thinking of this torture of Daryl. I think Daryl saying he can't submit because he's doing it for someone else is because he can't betray his family and Glenn's memory. Were they all dead and he was left, he probably would have as he'd have nothing else to go on for and wouldn't care. Plus, he's bound to blame himself for Glenn, so siding with his killer would be tough to do.

After the main show you guys should watch the spin offs including fear the walking dead if you want more of Morgan's story. The are some really good characters on that show too.

Because he knows that he has to break Daryl so that Daryl can become one of them. Dwight knows that if Daryl doesn't submit that he could end up dead. Also, Dwight broke and I think it bothers him that while he was able to be broken, Daryl isn't. It is a reminder that he actually could have made a different choice. So I do believe Dwight wants to help Daryl but Daryl is also a reminder.

Rewatching this reminds me of when I went to a college Halloween party dressed as Negan with a replica of Lucile. Unfortunately I got too much into character and people didn't take too kindly when I decided to make them all kneel and I beat the ginger kid to death. Ah well, the folly of youth

My read has always been that Dwight is so desperate for Daryl to break and join the Saviors because it would make him feel like less of a coward for making the choice he made So seeing Daryl refuse frustrates him and it challenges his belief that he had no other choice Dwight needs to believe that he made the only possible choice
