Wesker

the jedi and sith might have the force but rey has the power of plot armor. a power some consider to be… unnatural.

The editing with the Disney inserts is killing me😂😂

Alex Thrailkill

Oh my. Here we go. I really, really hope y’all enjoy this trilogy since you’re going through the series all together, but as someone who watched the originals and prequels multiple times as a kid… I just can’t watch the sequels with an open mind :l This one isn’t horrible, but it just feels repetitive (unlike any of the George Lucas movies). And don’t even get me started on Han dying before he speaks with Luke on screen again… Looking forward to your opinions on this whole trilogy, I still refuse to officially watch IX (or any other theater Star Wars release) after what they did in VIII. When y’all post your video for IX, it may actually be the most I ever see of that movie😂

Julianjjz

You have actually noticed the 2 worst things about this trilogy already. 1: Things just happen without reason or explanation just to keep the plot going. 2: Pudgey said "That doesnt sound like luke at all". The characters are only the characters by name, not the actual person we know. Only down hill from here lol. This was the best one of the trilogy in my opinion.

Alex Pearson

It wasn't the best movie... but there are still several enjoyable parts. I haven't rewatched these movies since I saw them in theaters opening night so it was a good watch a long. The BB8 thumbs up with the lighter is one of my favorite parts

Ben

Andor, it's the best thing Disney ever did. Hope you guys watch that.

Ben

Luke be like: "there was a hand too. Did you find the hand?"

Cody Beaudin

A few minutes in.. I'm hurt by what they've done to Star Wars... Every time I watch the Sequels I just end up yelling at my TV lol "HOWD REY KNOW TO USE JEDI MIND TRICKS?! SHE JUST LEARNED ABOUT WHAT THE FORCE EVEN IS"

Jacob

I hope after watching it you'll understand our collective hate towards this trilogy haha

Oliver

Its too bad George Lucas sold star wars to Disney. Lets just slap a female in as the hero and repeat the same story. Super creative.

Reuben Filimaua

Man I wish he didn't. He should have given it off to someone he knew in advance would respect his vision. Cos boyy, after hearing about George's ideas for the sequel trilogy... damn, his story outline sounded much more interesting than anything we actually got.

Reuben Filimaua

True. Even Luke couldn't do such powerful manipulations of the Force in his first movie.. and he's the son of a very powerful Jedi! (I'm taking into consideration that Luke's father and Vader weren't considered to be the same person back in 1977).

Reuben Filimaua

Ngl when I first watched TFA in the theatres, I was deceived by the illusion lol. I was manipulated into eating the nostalgia member-berries 🥲 It wasn't until it came out on dvd and I showed my uncle. When it ended he said ".....that was just a remake of A New Hope." I was like, "no its..wait.. ................. no." 😂 I was broken free from the matrix that day. So when it came to watching TLJ in cinemas, I saw everything much clearer. I never ended up watching Episode IX.

Reuben Filimaua

I hope they end up watching Andor. I'd call it peak prestige Star Wars television. Some argue it doesn't feel like Star Wars.. but I think they did enough to make it feel like the same Galaxy.

Micheal ozuna

I’m was excited for yall to start this series but not knowing anything about the force and trying to blame Disney is weird

EdReedFan20

Spartan, since you're replaying Jedi: Fallen Order, it may be of interest to you that the planet where Cal Kestis builds a new lightsaber near the end of the game (Illum) is filled with Kyber Crystals (the power source of lightsabers). Young Jedi go there traditionally to build their first ones. If you recall, there was a lot of Imperial construction there. The reason for that is the Empire was mining the planet for the crystals to power both Death Stars. The First Order, however, turned the whole planet into a third "Death Star", becoming Starkiller Base from The Force Awakens.

EdReedFan20

I remember reading that Kylo Ren was more or less based off of toxic fandoms. Behind the mask (or the internet) he looks tough but remove the mask he loses that intimidation greatly. He's also very impetuous and pouty. I wonder if he was a spoiled brat as a kid, as he likely came from money, being the son of Han and Princess Leia. Also, Harrison Ford petitioned to have Han killed off in Return of the Jedi, but George Lucas refused. He finally got his wish here. I'm not sure, but I wonder if that was his stipulation to return as Han.

Cole Troutman

ahhh i was gong to watch the uncut but after like 10 mins i just couldn't do it. Only time Ill actualy wait for the edit. This was never a bad movie to me. It did have some aura people dont want to admit back then, just being the return of Star Wars. Gets a C from me. But the issue is, popular opinion is that its best of the sequels, which sorta retroactively makes it a D

Ben

it feels more like Star Wars than anything else does, to me

Grant Gould

To be fair, Kylo Ren was shot in the gut by Chewie's bowcaster (I think you guys missed that), so when he was fighting Rey, he had a pretty severe injury... But yeah, the sequel trilogy is a weird experience. It had so much potential, but bad/sloppy writing ultimately drags it down. ON A GOOD NOTE: Kylo Ren is amazing. He is easily the highlight of the trilogy. I think you guys will agree.

Gilly17

Should live stream the fallen order like you did with mass effect ‼️‼️

Mackenzie Herren

I don’t care what anyone else says… Episode 8 is great and I’m excited for y’all to see it.

EdReedFan20

I love it, personally. It has the most bits from the trilogy that I pull up to watch. And of the sequel trilogy, George Lucas seemed a fan. He was very critical of The Force Awakens as a rehash and never said anything regarding The Rise of Skywalker.

Ryan Smith

Gotta play Jedi Survivor Spartan, in my opinion it’s a much better game than fallen order

Coffee Brainzz

Were Still Waiting For The Darth Jar Jar Theory Reaction!! 🫣💯💯💯 You Will LOVE IT!

Hank Scorpio

Whatever that character's name was (I forget and I'm too lazy to look it up): A story for another time.....

Coffee Brainzz

35:00 Jedi Survivor Hints At How They Were Able To Build Such A Massive Planet Destroyer. In Short, They Are Using The Same Kyber Crystals Used To Power Lightsabers, The Went To The Jedis Planet Where They Mine Them And Turned The Whole Planet Into A Power Source! Its Debated, Some Say It's Not The Same Planet... So I Don't Think It's Spoilers lol 😅😋 Just Kool Hidden Details

Julianjjz

was the same for me lol. But in my defense, I was 13 when force awakens came out. haha

crin

I just love Rey and Kylo Ren - they are the best characters. And as a female myself, I always wanted to see a female character being force sensitive and wielding a lightsaber. We never got that in Episode 1-6.

Alex Thrailkill

The Disney fireworks had me giggling😂

Johnman33

So Kylo kept punching his wound so he would hurt more, therefore he’d be more angry and that makes him stronger because the dark side is anger and pain and hatred

Justin Stewart

Why would you lie to this hard to these people

Musicenjoyer

I feel like people have a skewed sense of Luke’s character because of his status in pop culture. He’s never been an infallible badass Jedi like many think. Do you remember Luke quitting when he failed on Dagoba? Then going back later? Almost falling to the dark side while fighting Vader, then coming back to the light? That’s his whole character. Failing first, then finding the strength to try and fix his failings. It’s also why he’s different from the other Jedi. Both yoda and obi wan were permanently crippled (psychologically) by their own failings.

Phil

Crazy how many questions you all have, and I'm just thinking "yeah that'll never get answered. That one won't get answered either" etc.

Paul Durbin

If you only know Oscar Isaac from Moon Knight... please watch Drive and Ex Machina

blizzity

lost it @ every disney title card lmaooo, superb editing

Dyl

He always had hope though, his "quitting" was going to save his friends, he quit training to fight. He went back to train more when he failed. He never ran and hid. He criticized Han for not wanting to fight even before he was trained, He never gave up on his father and was willing to die to bring him back to the light rather than kill him. Luke is definitely not perfect but I think your take is pretty off the mark. I think if the sequels wanted to have him in hiding, they needed to do more to sell us and make it believable because it is a break from the Luke we know.

Musicenjoyer

He absolutely didn’t have hope on Dagoba. He quit before he even has the vision. The vision is what motivates him not hope. Yoda asks him to raise the x wing and he pouts when he is unable to. He says it’s impossible until Yoda shows him it’s not. He always needs motivation to overcome his failings and that motivation comes from outside sources. Rey does that in TLJ.

Matt R

I really dislike the sequel movies to put it gently lmao, but I am still looking forward to watching them with you guys and seeing your thoughts! Maybe you'll get something out of them that I didn't, I went in wanting to like them so badly but they just weren't for me and by the time 9 was over I had given up 😭 I just think of them as a separate unrelated universe now. The visuals are pretty good at least

Unam Bakumeni

"How did she know how to do that?". She saw episodes 1 - 6.

DeathSwitch

No matter how many times I see this argument, it still doesn't convince me adult, seasoned Jedi Grand Master Luke would ignite his lightsaber to murder his nephew in his sleep. I don't care if the writer says it was a fleeting moment of panic, it's simply not in his character to do that. Nobody is saying he is infallible. But your example on Degobah with the X-Wing was literally at the start of his journey, his first day or two being around his first actual teacher. This is 30+ years down the line, he wouldn't go off and sulk for decades and allow another fascist galaxy takeover by the First Order. This is someone in ROTJ stood in front of 2 of the most evil men in the galaxy and threw down his weapon. The entire premise of Luke in the pequels is written by people who fundamentally do not understand this character.

Holly

the dark storm trooper captain is gwendoline christie: brienne of tarth from GoT :-)

Holly

Rejoined after a break to watch these. BB8 is my favorite droid. just beats R2D2

Holly

"This is like episode 4 or something." Precisely. I was laughing in the movie theater watching it like, there's no way you just copy/pasted episode 4

Nudeldifudel

"Im gonna need to have that explained" Yeah welcome to the club
