HDMI your laptop / tablet to the TV and use the TV as a 2nd monitor (not mirror display)

Deb and Brother Sam are easily the standouts of this season for me.

Considering her last fiancé turned out to be a serial killer and the love her life was shot in front of her, you can't really blame Deb for being afraid of commitment. That trauma will always be with her and it seems disingenuous to reduce her decision to "always ruining her relationships." Come on, man. Try to approach the situation with at least a little nuance and sensitivity lol

Yasiin Bey (Brother Sam) is a fantastic actor. He used to go by his rap name Mos Def. If you want to see a really good movie, check out Something the Lord Made. It's based on a true story and Bey is superb in it.

we aren't taking away from that, we've acknowledged that many times, but it doesn't take away from the fact that as a result of that trauma she sabotages nearly all her relationships. that was all we were commenting on

A friend of mine was buddies with Mos Def. Apparently one time Mos called him in the middle of the night and asked if he could come over with Dave Chappelle to record a song in his studio 😂 My friend got out of bed and got all set up. Unfortunately, they never showed up!!!! 😂

Personally, I think S6 is great. I know opinions are all over the place for Dexter past S4 so I won't dwell on that. I feel good and bad for Deb. You're very right, she sabotages her relationships. So much unfair baggage that she's carrying around. I can't blame her, but it is sad, and sucks for Quinn who was more of a playboy before her.

I'm not a fan of season 6, but as I'm watching it now, I realized that there is a lot of good stuff in this season, and it has an amazing finale. The only thing that really turns me off that I noticed is Travis' character and the Doomsday plotline. Every time we jump into that storyline I notice myself loosing interest. I wondered why that is, because I like Colln Hanks, and I think it's just that I find Travis off-putting. He's the worst villain of the series. Ice Truck killer was cool (pun intended) , Miguel Prada was fun, Trinity was terrifying, intriguing, compelling to watch, and even Jordan Chase and his crew, while a huge step down from an apex serial killer like Trinity, still were interesting in a disturbing kind of way because they were so evil. But Travis is boring, and weak, and just weird. He's an unlikable character. I think the fact that season 6 mostly focuses on his storyline is why people dislike season 6 even though there is a lot to like in the season.
