We take copyright law very seriously, so you will have to sync up our reaction to your own version of the show/movie. An updated timecode will be provided on the screen.  Anytime we pause, there will be timer/countdown on screen to prompt you. So if we’re about to pause, there’ll be a countdown, and you are expected to pause as the number reaches 0. The same will happen when we press play after pausing. You will press play as the number reaches 0.  Here are some popular ways people sync up the reaction with their own copy of the show:

  • Use a dual monitor PC setup to watch both screens simultaneously

  • Use the split screen functions on your computer/phone to watch them side by side

  • Chromecast / Screenshare one screen to your TV while watching the other screen on a phone or laptop

  • HDMI your laptop / tablet to the TV and use the TV as a 2nd monitor (not mirror display)

  • Use your Smart TV or Gaming console to play the YouTube reaction and your Phone/Laptop to play the show (or other way around)

  • Download this google chrome extension so once you manually sync the videos up, the extension will keep both videos synced up when you play/pause, move around in the video, etc (can also pick up where you left off if you close the windows.) The funny thing to me is how similarly I view Hannah and Isaak whereas you guys loved Isaak but are way more negative toward Hannah. They are both characters who have done the wrong thing but who are equals with Dexter, very charming, and contain more depth than their character archetypes would usually have. I think it's down to how you guys read Hannah and see her as manipulative or obsessive towards Dexter, when I don't think she is

Ray Stevenson had another project during filming so there were scheduling conflicts and he wasn't able to stay on for the full season, but the showrunners loved Ray so much that they rewrote around his schedule. Honestly worth it. I can't picture anyone else playing Isaac and I think this is a much better send-off for his character than what was originally planned.

When Maria went to visit Mathews, I don't know if you guys got the reference/joke when Mathews said a "creature rose from the depth... Tokyo's that way Maria..". Mathews was calling Maria Godzilla (a hideous slimy creature) LOL. I love Mathews. He's an underrated character. His hatred and quips towards Maria are hilarious. He sees her for who she really is and has absolutely no respect for her. Zero. And he is correct.

for whatever reason you guys judge every single thing in this show. This doesnt make sense, that decision of dexter is stupid. All the time. Also Hannah is evil but Isaac is great. I don't get it.

There's a lot of things with the show that are easy to criticize. Dexter does make lots of stupid decisions. Hannah is dislikeable for pretty clear reasons Should they say "wow this show has amazingly well-knit writing where everything fits together and makes logical sense"? No, because it usually doesn't. Doesn't mean it's a bad show, just definitely wouldn't put it on same level as breaking bad or etc in terms of a put together story, as well as the less plausible aspects (seen with many of Dexter's kills, like in this episode at the gun range, lol)

No they shouldn’t. That would be even worse. But what they’re doing is the opposite of that. In other movies and shows they glance over bad writing decisions all the time and certainly don’t criticize every second decision protagonist or showwriter is making. I don’t think Dexter is a show even half as good as breaking bad or game of thrones. I still think you don’t need to complain multiple times per episode about every little thing. Not liking Hannah makes sense I guess so forget that I said that. Its really not important.
