Lets Talk About Andor (Patreon)

Hey S&P fam,

We see more people missed the movie post/poll from a week ago than we would have liked. We mentioned in that post that in trying to squeeze in a spooky season movie reaction we were pushing Andor back a week, HOWEVER we then plan to do Andor 2 weeks in a row which means its schedule will be finished exactly the same time as normal. So to those saying we are scamming for another month of patreon, that is not the case and has never been the case as Andor will finish on time all we did is swap this week's Andor with next week's movie.

Hopefully this clears up, we had assumed more people would have read the post and or been excited for the spooky season movie, but we understand this second half of Andor S2 is highly anticipated and we look forward to bringing those reactions next week!

Seriously! 🙄 We all love our shows, but come on, let’s respect S&P’s time! They’re doing as much as they can. As fun as it all is, it’s a business and there are seasonal elements that have to be observed/incorporated, and only so much time to edit content. And editing takes forever! S&P have to balance pleasing their existing supporters with attempting to reach new people and bring them into the fam. It’s a lot of work! They’re only human! And from what I see, they are conscientious toward as much of their viewer base simultaneously as possible 🙏🏼 It’s hard to make everybody happy! A little patience and grace can go a long way to all help lift each other up 👊🏼

Honestly only having to wait a week between episodes 7,8,9 and 10,11,12 is a good thing, that run is amazing, I can tolerate a longer gap between 4,5,6 and 7,8,9 in exchange for a shorter gap between the final 6 I just hope they re-react to Rogue One afterwards

I think if they do the 66 episodes (+the movie) it would be a perfect compromise. The main arcs and best of the clone wars with enough context to understand it fully. Its a selected viewing made up for optimial experience without having to watch 100+ episodes of the show because thats a lot, especially with how not amazing the first few seasons are. It would be really nice to have them react to that though.

Thanks for clearing it up!! I get the views dropped off after the movies. Just saying its a fanbase that draws new eyes constantly due to the nature of the fanbase being fractured at the moment and only liking certain things from a VAST catalog of material. & i think attracting as many eyes as possible is the goal yes??? Star Wars will boost number across your channel because you guys are great and they'll get sucked in. (Star Wars fans like MARVEL/LOTR/GOT/BREAKING BAD etc.)

Hey guys, sorry to hear you’ve had messages accusing you of deliberately dragging things out for another month’s subscription — that’s an unfair assumption to make. I do appreciate you clarifying, though. I’d missed the update in the movie poll and was a bit confused and frustrated waiting for the Andor reaction to drop today. the comments are direct, not passive aggressive. the reason you are literally the only person who ive had to be direct with is bcause from the get go you've come in with hysterics, not even asked for clarification and behaved with any decency towards us, when we have otherwise been incredibly consistent and always transparent, and yes made an error in judgement in thinking everyone would have read that post which we immediatelyaddressed and acknowledged, and instead you went straight to calling us scammers and asking people to cancel their subscriptions. how do you think you should be spoken to when you behave like this? do you forget behind these screens we are two people as well, who have otherwise been very grateful, communicative and engaged with our community who we value and cherish very much. the reality of having 3000+ patreons is sometimes we cant make everyone happy, in fact most of the time we cant. we wanted to join in spooky season, and it caused a minor delay, we understand peoples frustration but it also isnt the end of the world, and we are releasing the next 2 back to back. anyway, this is it from us, we hope you'll enjoy the reaction and in future give us the benefit of the doubt and approach us as humans first before immediately making false accusations towards us.

Look, I think we can all appreciate that the back and forth needs to end. I just want to end it by saying that we are always open and honest and let you all in on a lot of our lives and what goes on behind the scenes. Being called scammers from a long term patreon who should know this and I would assume has had a lot of exposure to this, can be disheartening. No one should be name calling and 'scammers' is included in this... We understand you're disappointed with the schedule, but I hope you can appreciate it isnt easy pleasing so many people. idk where you are located but for me in canada the cheapest tier costs $20amd quite frankly pages with a 5-10$ monthly fee push out way more content and variety as well as having weekly schedules for shows

Don’t worry about it. The uproar stems from the fact that S2E7-9 include 2 of the highest rated episodes of the entire series and are highly anticipated. I distinctly remember you posting that you would be skipping a week of Andor to post a reaction to a seasonal themed movie. The people in an uproar apparently missed that post. Unfortunately, I have noticed that this channel includes a larger number of people who exhibit less manners and respect than many other Patreon channels. I posted a comment one other time here about a poll, and had a troll climb out from under a bridge because I had the audacity to say that Tombstone wasn’t a great movie. I never said it was bad, but that wasn’t good enough for the troll. To that member, not agreeing with him meant there was something wrong with me. I am here for your reaction to Andor. When you are done with that series I will be canceling my subscription. Not because of you, but because I don’t have the time or the patience to debate with trolls.

Please remember that S&P are people, doing this in their home, not a 5-star establishment with staff dedicated to helping you or anyone else personally.
