The Game of Thrones Universe is definitely full of snakey characters, but who do you dislike the most by the end of Season 1 for both GoT and HotD?

I think it's Criston Cole. While GoT had obvious villain characters, I respected their villainy and they were captivating as adversaries (Joffrey, Cersei, Littlefinger, and Tywin). They never pretended to be anything else. Criston Cole has murdered two people in cold blood in psychotic fits of rage, which he seems prone to, yet has the nerve to be unironically self-righteous.

Joffrey is a victim of his mother's upbringing. I personally can't stand Cersei. When she's giving Joffrey advice that the truth can be what he makes it and he can do what he wants, no wonder he turned out like the deplorable tw*t he did. Tywin, Littlefinger, Larys and Otto are also terrible people, but at least they play the Game of Thrones in an interesting way. Looking forward to your reactions to S2 for both shows. Keep up the great work.

Sansa cause she didn't realize she wasn't a Disney princess until it was too late. By the end of season 1 she sold her father in name of someday becoming Cersei and marry Joffrey.

As you can imagine Joffrey instantly became the most hated character in fiction the week after ep 9 aired. Yet of all the colorful insults hurled at him in the aftermath, this relatively mild, simple comment on a discussion board remains my favorite: "Joffrey you little shit."

Larys for me. I know many people are choosing Joffrey but atleast his evilness is not hidden. Larys pretends to be all nice in your face but schemes in the shadows. Those are the worst. At least you know what your getting from Joffrey.

We don’t actually know what happened in the first, and the second was to be expected honestly. They were carrying out a coup. Whatever happened in the first murder we can infer that it was ‘justified’ as far as their own laws are concerned. I think a lot of what is going on with Ser Criston is that he isn’t equipped to process getting raped.

Joffrey is probably without a doubt the most dislikeable character in Game of Thrones. That aside, he is also one of the best. There is not a single bad or boring scene that has Joffrey, the man steals the viewers attention every single time.

Cersei's my favourite in season 1 so definitely not her 😂 Would have to go with Khal Drogo for the worst. Although, no one I really hated in season 1. I just don't like the Dothraki at all or their storyline. In season 1, everything across the Narrow Sea I wasn't really interested in. I don't like how him and Daenerys developed as a couple. Or the speech he made about invading Westeros. Though I understand that's the culture of the Dothraki, it just isn't something I like. With HOTD, Cole is the worst. I like "villains", as I like Otto and Larys as characters and from GOT season 1 I like Cersei, Littlefinger and even Joffrey's scenes. Cole is just flat out annoying though so far.

Joffrey is entertaining as fuck. Worst in season one is either maester Pycelle cause he talks way too slow or Daenerys. Her story is too disconnected and she always acts like a brat who is owed something. Same with Joffrey but at least he is ridiculously over the top

to be fair the actor is very talented - so talented in fact he ended up getting hate irl for his portrayal. while, yes, it's an awful thing and people should be able to seperate actors from their characters, it just shows how incredible his portrayal of joffrey is!

The only reason I picked Larys over joeffery is because as awful joeffery is I think he's more of a product of his environment, we've seen how awful cersi's advise was to him I doubt he was raised in any other way than to be a total cunt and an absent father also, being an insist child may have something to do with it. on the other hand when you look at Larys's family, his father seemed to be like a decent man, in fact too decent and his brother seemed honorable and courageous.

Yikes it's hard to say. Like 99% of the characters in HoTD and GoT are all such pieces of garbage, The named ones I mean. I think everyone universally hates Joffrey because at least the others you can kind of rationalize their behavior, but he was just a spoiled garbage human being from episode 1. TBH I hate everyone on House except Viserys. I found him to be the only sane, redeemable, relatable character besides maybe Graham McTavash the head of the City Watch - whatever his name is in the story.
