This was quite fun! I hope you do this sort of Q&A/impressions/review after each season. Anyways, the answers for the quiz questions, just if you are curious: 1. The Stark children Direwolves are: Grey Wind (Robb), Lady (Sansa), Nymeria (Arya), Summer (Bran), Shaggy Dog (Rickon) and Ghost (Jon) P(+3) S(+0) 2. Sigils: House Tully: a silver trout, House Arryn: a falcon P(+0) S(+0) 3. Words: House Lannister: "Hear me roar!" - it is a very common misconception, but "A Lannister always pays his debts" is just a saying, not the house words - House Baratheon: "Ours is the fury!" P(+0) S(+0) 4. Gregor Clegane aka The Mountain, Sandor Clegane aka The Hound P(+1) S(+0) 5. Meister Lewin (Winterfell), Meister Aemon (Castle Black/The Wall) P(+1) S(+2) 6. Daenerys Dothraki helper girls are Irri, Jhiqui and Doreah P(+0) S(+0) 7. The seven gods of the faith are: The Father, The Mother, The Warrior, The Maiden, The Smith, The Crone and The Stranger P(+1) S(+0) By my count, I think I have to give the victory in the quiz to Pudgey (6 to 2). 👏👏👏 GOOD JOB PUDGEY!!! 😃 And good job Spartan for accepting defeat even before the competition started! 😂 To be fair, some of these were pretty tough for a first time watch - or you would have needed to be paying very close attention to small details, because they might have been mentioned only once or twice during the first season - actually, there are a couple that are not mentioned at all! - so overall, I think you guys did pretty okay. Super fun video, love your reactions, keep up the good work!!!

Yeah this was definitely a book-reader geared quiz. I wouldn't expect the average show watcher to know a lot of these, especially this early in.

Agreed. Most reactors that are a couple or group there isn't much debate or difference in viewpoint or opinion shown, they just agree on everything. Makes S&P's videos so much more unique and entertaining.

@Kossez Yosko, I agree. It's been my experience that people vastly retroactively overestimate their understanding of the show and the world and the relationships. For example, a lot of ppl finish the season believing that Theon is a Stark, not realizing the Yoren came from the wall with Tyrion, or that the North had seceded from the Seven Kingdoms. There is a particular relationship that was not at all obvious in season 1 and only becomes clear later, but that people INSIST on clarifying in the comments of season 1 and it drives me nuts.

I also thought they did quite well. Maybe it was a bit challenging for first time watchers, but my hope was that the questions would inspire them to think a bit more about some of those little things that are part of what makes this story and this world so rich.

Good point about starting with HOTD in terms of the scope and getting familiar with the world. Also, Spartan, you overlooked Margaery for the women. Granted I say that because I'm quite partial to her (would probably go for the marriage option there).

I just realized you guys will get a long way into Game of Thrones before House of the Dragon returns in 2024 Might want to talk to your moderators: in GOT S3 E4 there is a brief scene where 2 characters discuss the ending of the story told in HOTD. If you don't want to be spoiled, tell your mods to help you AVOID this small interaction. It isn't super relevant to any GOT plot point, just an offhanded conversation. If they don't know what I am talking about I can give you the time stamps in the episode to avoid. It's literally less than a minute. Lots of folks who began GOT for the 1st time after seeing HOTD get really upset having a major part of HOTD spoiled. Just an FYI!

I think it was implied by Miri (the Witch) that she purposely killed drogo. Never had any intention of healing him. Payback for destroying her temple. If not for her I'm sure he wouldve survived. She then purposely killed Danys son aswell. Drogos blood riders were right to distrust her.

Drogo actually ignores her healing instructions and keeps messing with it, the Dothraki also remove the covering and put on their own with mud and such. Turning him into a vegetable was definitely on purpose though. In the show its left to interpretation, but the book seems a lot more clear on the matter.

Maybe it's just me but I don't think she ever intended to heal him at all. After what they did to her village. She admitted as much to Dany after Rhaego died. P.S Episode 4 introduced (imo at least) the most attractive female character in GOT... Talisa. She's fine as hell 😍 lol another is waiting for Dany in Astopor 🤫
