lucky me, I refreshed the page and here you are!

Joffrey is on my love list

Halofan117 Halofan

None of these issues would have happened with Joffery as king. RIP to the greatest things the gods have put on this earth

Daryl

Thanks for the info on the hair spike Spartan, that was the question we needed answering 😂

Ghostcat

Peter Dinklage is great - he won lots of awards for his portrayal of Tyrion. Also, Daavos is definitely one of my favourite underated characters! He's great.

By far one of the most epic speeches in TV history by Tyrion!

Mzuka

Jojen has green dreams, technically he's not a greenseer or a warg (he's more like Helaena from HotD). People who can send their minds into animals are called skinchangers or wargs (in the books wargs are skinchangers who bond with wolves but that distinction isn't in the show). Greenseers are something else that you hasn't been explained so far in what you've watched. Stay tuned.

I’m not sure what happened in the books but I feel like Shae testifying against Tyrion and blatantly lying was so out of character. She was so devoted to Tyrion who constantly warned her about the dangers of Kings Landing and their relationship, and she never took it seriously. And then she lies and testifies against him out of… spite? Revenge for breaking up with her? I don’t even know. The writers really dropped the ball with her imo

D.C.

I think it’s the same for the show version. I don’t feel Shae loved Tyrion in the show just using him.

Angel M

To be fair, when I first watched this season, I was super confused why Locke was portrayed in such a positive light in the Night's Watch that I was rooting for him. They did a really good job in catching you unawares.

neutchain

Okay, by this point I pretty much like the discussion more than the actual reaction. I could watch you guys just talk about shit for hours, its really entertaining. :))

I doubt that, the show version of Shae seems to have taken what Tyrion said to heart. She broke down crying when he first said it and even repeated it back to Tyrion spitefully in the trial. She's just naive, we saw that plenty with how often she ignored Tyrion's warnings.

I’m surprised that Spartan still has Tywin on his love list as a villain he is very good and he is good at his job but you have to remember the whole Tysha story he literally bought a whore to have sex with Tyrion then made him watch his soldiers r*pe her and then forced tyrion to have sex with her after.

Valcor

Why are they so confused about the blood on Ramsey? It was clear he had been fighting and killing Yaras men.

Valcor

Peter Dinklage really should have won an award for that speech. Such powerful delivery I love how he just let it all out. Favourite line was when he said I wish I had killed him, because seeing him die gave me more relief then 1000 lying whores.

Rey Jr

I love when they talk about the love, like, hate list. Just too funny. Also I like that Littlefinger is on Pudgeys like list

Jeannie

Glad I joined the Patreon, these GOT reactions are the best on YouTube! Love the dialogue and that you're both really into the show. This is the first time I've joined a patreon and so far it's money well spent, here in England we're all skint! 🫣😅

Ricky

Spartan, it's fine regarding Locke. But we'll still roast you for it 💀

Ricky
>>102567301

To make up for it, you recognized the Rains of Castamere playing at the trial. You've been forgiven Spartan.

Mysterion Amalgium

Can we agree to remember Theon burned 2 kids alive in front of their parents to save face about Bran and Rickon escaping?

Stannis loves grammar.

this is the season peter dinklage won his award.great writing for this actor. He will never get this type of role or writing ever again. Its the ook and Dand D following it and adding a flourish. also, I love how pudgy is making fun of spartan this review.

JOHN FIORE
>>102569860

He didn't do that. Firstly, they were orphans that were sent to live there so they had no parents (this is revealed in 2x7). Then he revealed that he had one of his men slit their throats and had their bodies burned (this is revealed in 3x4). Where are you getting that they burned the kids alive?

Stannis loves grammar.

i will add i see you guys love oberon keep in mind his words always.he is one straight shooter in a world of liars.

Abby

Cersei did not care about Ned Stark and Joffrey being cruel. She knew killing him would initiate full on war. Remember Joffrey said she wishes him to be exiled to the wall for his alleged crimes. Also, the fact that the cities Dany "freed" went back to normal after she left because simply put, you cannot conquer, leave and expect everything to remain as you left it. Dany is naive still. Ruling the world by yourself with just councelors and soldiers wont make you a god. Not even the Targaryens back in the day could take over Westeros as a whole and surerly not Essos. Shae is different in the books and Tyrion knows deep inside that they are playing at a romantic relationship and he kind of goes with it because he figures it is the best he can get.

LEE PARKER

Always get chills when I see that court room scene, no matter how many times I do ....EPIC 💪💪💪

Calu

One interesting detail you should be aware of about Littlefinger, is that he is one of the few principal characters in the story that never got a single POV chapter in the books. He is such an evil scheming and conniving person, and as you realize by now, pretty much responsible for the whole domino effect that started this whole mess, that GRRM had to purposely keep the readers out of HIS perspective in order to not give away the game. BTW, for Pudgey's sake, and maybe Spartan a bit less nowadays, lol, just so you realize how this story was never about "your" guy, Robb is another one of those main characters who never got a POV chapter.

Andreas Köther

I love the banter between you when smebody has a theory or is on the wrong track and the other person just makes fun of it. You need to throw a „You know nothing, Jon Snow!“ in there, because that‘s what it‘s there for.

Ludus Aurea

Season 4 has so many good scenes. It’s my favorite .

SuddenImpulse

Tywin's absolutely FUMING face at Tyrion during his outburst never gets old for me. Also when Tyrion says he wants to confess, Jaime's face says it all. He knows his brother. He knows what state he is in after Shae, he can tell from his voice. Jaime's face says everything. It says "oh god Tyrion is absolutely going to screw up this backroom deal in a massively colossal way." Fantastic acting from everyone involved in these scenes.

In my experience watching the show with people in person and watching reactions, because this is kind of a footnote story in the middle of season 1 when Tywin has barely been introduced, most people forget about this story entirely.

I'd say it's peak GoT. Excellent writing, fantastic acting and very well shot. I can't get over how outstanding the casting of this show was. Lena Hadey, Charles Dance, Peter Dinklage, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Pedro Pascal... They are killing it so hard it is off the bloody charts and it's so much fun to watch it. It was already really good in S01 but by this time the actors got into their roles really well, bonded with each other, built up that chemistry and they have that comradery and trust in their scene partners to pull off this kind of quality. 10//10 TV, possibly the best I've ever seen.

CherryPi
>>102583532

She also makes decisions too early without contemplating before, like crucifying all the masters without giving a thought that not all of them might have been bad people. Actions like this have consequences she might regret later.

Blackfyre

Points to Spartan, Yes, Tywin was planning this to get Jaime to his fold!

Maggie Jordan

Aww it broke my heart when y’all were so hyped for Yara rescuing Theon. 😂😭

Belilos

the I don't know, I don't know, I don't know joke reveal by Spartan in the introduction was perfect, well done hah

Belilos
>>102916111

also from the introduction, love the discussion about how Dany should go ahead as a ruler - it's really not straightforward is it? Was she strategic enough up to this point, was her justice crucifying those masters justified, and should she stay in Meereen... Dany's story really speaks to me.

Sasha

Pudgey is the brain of this operation, put some respect in her NAME

Gam Mac

70% of what's happened so far was orchestrated by Littlefinger, the other 30% by Varys 😅
