UNCUT REACTION POLL (Patreon)

Hey S&P Fam!
So we have been receiving a lot of requests from our community about releasing our uncut reactions earlier than the edited if they are ready earlier, and we've taken time to logistically figure out if we could even provide this.

As many may remember, we started posting our uncut reactions alongside our edited to be in sync with each other so that everyone could access the intro/discussion at the same time as watching either version.

As we are in the process of hiring some editors to help us out, realistically we could probably make this happen so that the uncuts include the intro/outro (as our time will be freed up a bit more) and then release the uncuts as close to being recorded as possible!

HOWEVER

Given this does add to our workload/editing time and is something realistically we'll have to maintain, this would be added as a feature to our top tier Demi God (as a way of also adding some extra value to our top tier). This would NOT change anything in how Super Soldier is currently run, which is 3+ weeks ahead of YouTube and has always been to release the uncut alongside the edited reaction AS SOON as it is ready. This would be an extra perk tailored mainly to those who want to access our uncut reaction as soon as humanly possible and not wait for the edited version (because they are a lot smaller to edit than edited).

***Just to clarify guys, the new perk refers to getting uncuts out as soon as they are ready in Demi God (before the edited version). The intro/outro system would be implemented to all uncuts on every tier once we start this. So this question is specific to having uncuts release earlier than the edited versions***

To Summarise what is being proposed (please not the first 2 tiers are not changing):

  • Warrior - Uncut + Edited 1 episode early per show
  • Super Soldier - 3+ weeks Early access (edited & Uncut) - current to our latest edited reaction
  • Demi God - Uncut reactions released as close to recording as possible

We want full transparency with our community and want to hear your thoughts, so here we are asking you all on your thoughts! Vote in the poll and let us know in the discussion. We have not decided anything and we are still thinking on it, but we wanted to hear your voices!

However you guys do it is fine

ken

I don’t see the issue if it doesn’t affect regular uploads

Dylan Holman

I’m abstaining from voting, because I really don’t have an opinion one way or the other. Do what makes sense for you without creating unnecessary stress/work!! If that means you can release the uncut versions earlier for those that would like it, then great. But if not, I don’t think anyone is going to hate you for it.

John Neiberger

I prefer having them both at the same time. My usual routine is to watch the uncut along with you so I get to experience the whole episode again, then I jump to your reaction video for the rest. EDIT: I suck at reading comprehension. I'm on Super Soldier tier, so nothing would change for me anyway. lol

William Abbott

The multipart episodes of Avatar being uploaded as one long uncut video would 100% be worth the cost of upgrading to a higher tier. As early as possible for other shows would be a plus.

Pat man

I voted to post your reactions as soon as possible just because I'm impatient. Truth be told. I like watching your unedited reactions, and then going over to your edited reactions to see your opinions and thoughts right after. If there was a significant time gap, I don't think I would bother, and I'd miss your thoughts afterwards.

Philippe

I think the upload schedule is good. Makes us wait for the next upload.

Richard Kraupa

As I am T2 it does not effect me, if I have time I watch your cut intro, then the uncut , then the cut outro, otherwise I just what the cut version

Tugboat

I like to watch the pre and post-discussions before watching the uncut. If anything, due to demand, charge more, I'll pay 🤷🏾‍♂️

SnorlaX

As long as you add the discussions with it as well. It would be perfect

Andreas Köther

In the end I‘m fine with either solution but the idea of just having to access one video instead of switching twice between videos to get everything is very appealing.

Elias Flores

We need a New ATLA reaction!!! 🥹🙏🏻😊

micah

i think as long as you include the before and after discussion in the uncut version it would be perfect

so this wont change for super soldier. What we are offerring is to edit in our intro/outro's to the uncut reactions and have them uploaded earlier than the edit versions in the demi god tier

Julien

I don't even remember which tier I'm on tbh. But I seem to recall that initially, uncut used to be released immediately, and then the edit the next day or so. The issue at the time was that people like me wanted to experience the discussions along w the uncut, so you started posting both versions together. That's the current status. I'll admit I don't fully understand the question but if the idea is to release the uncut ealier then whatever you do... *add the discussions to the uncut reactions*. I have never understood why the uncut reactions don't have the discussions. They can't take that long to edit. I've been watching reactions since they became a thing and this is literally the only channel I've come across that does attach the discussions to the uncut reactions.

we've actually seen quite a few that do it this way. To be honest we edit various episodes separately and/individually so in order to get the intro/outro to be the exact same (no method for transferring them between devices) it was gong to be hard to maintain. especially considering Spartan does all the uncuts. however with time freed up and we've learnt more with the software we use for editing, we have devised new systems to make this work. FYI this poll is with regards to Uncuts being released as soon as they are ready (In the Demi God tier) instead of alongside the edited version (which we can now do due to new editing options)

Makka

I voted against early release, because my workflow is to open both the edited and the uncut at the same time, watch your intro and summary on the edited version and watch the show on the uncut. Releasing early will be too tempting to watch the uncut without watching your pre and post show discussions. I'm sure I can be patient but I was almost going to vote yes and then realised it is not a good idea for me, maybe there are others who do the same as me

>>107544755

If you include the pre and post to the uncut then I change my vote

Makka

BTW, any plan to release uncut versions of older shows? I assume you no longer have the full footage

girl gal

I prefer them releasing at the same time so I can watch the discussions before and after seamlessly. The discussion combined with the uncut watch-through is what I enjoy the most! You guys rock so ultimately whatever works best for you works for me!💕💕

I❤️movies&tvshows

Great idea! I would happily pay the difference to get it earlier. It would be nice to get the comments before and after on one uncut version instead of switching back and forth between the two. Plus it will be a much faster release schedule. May I also suggest that you show the entire screen of the show on the uncut version? All of the other Patreon reactors I follow do this. They have said because you are being paid and it’s being played for a private audience that it is allowed. It is not being released to the public. I have followed 10+ reactors over the year on Patreon and they all show the episode on a full screen. It’s just a suggestion, if your not comfortable showing the whole screen that’s fine. I love the content and will be happy to see it in whatever way you prefer.

Unfortunately for copyright reasons we cannot show the entire screen. We have been given advice to ensure our content falls under fair use.

>>107555502

Ahh I just read the cliffs notes haha I’m definitely on board w that then

CherryPi

I only watch the edited reaction, the whole syncing with the uncut version is too much of a hassle for me :D So do whatever you want.

Anthony Brown

I only watch the edited reactions to be honest, so doesn't bother me! I am too lazy to watch the show at same time and I appreciate the editing.

David J

This is really smart. I only want to watch the uncut reactions but I also do watch the edited reactions just for the discussion parts. And now combining them together is I think all I’ve ever asked for and more😂. Just subscribed to the Demi-God tier.

ADHDubz

I only watch the uncut reactions for both game of thrones and Avatar and I typically wait for the edited version to come out on YouTube so that I at least still having something to watch there.

David J
>>107543122

Way better that way. The faster the better😂. As soon as your done recording you just pop the discussions on the uncut and your good to go. Way easier for you guys that way as well I assume.

Elora D. Dragneel

I love watching the beginning of your edited reactions, the uncut reaction, and then the end of your edited reaction for your thoughts. The change to Demi-God tier sounds great!

Jalabarxho

So should I subscribe to the demigod tier now or…😅 if this is the confirmed path forward for y’all I’ll upgrade my subscription rn haha

Nick Wright

If you start doing this I'll upgrade to the demi-god tier.

TallTyrionLannister

This is exactly what I was looking for! Hope this passes

HDN

This should be a celebration announcement not a poll lmao. I doubted myself 1000 times cause I thought it was too good to be voted on. That's why everyone was confused i guess. I don't think anyone who'd understand the offer would ever refuse. Basically we get to have the uncuts earlier than ever, + get the discussions included in the uncuts so we don't have to jump between uploads, AND it doesn't affect the other tiers! Best offer ever

JBlaze24

This is perfect. It gives a reason to get the top tier!

Julien

So has this started? I'd upgrade but I wanna know first.
