Loved the flashbacks showing the Gaang all grown up, Aang especially looked great. Also seeing early republic city was nice, especially with Yakone's ostrich-horse drawn getaway wagon. Amon appearing in front of Tarlok had to be the coolest shot of the show so far. Just the idea that Amon is just this mysterious entity that comes to punish benders is such an awesome idea. Korra avoiding electrocution by hanging from the roof of the box was a genius play, and the following skirmish with Amon was brilliantly coordinated. It was also nice seeing that Korra just booked it the second she got the chance instead of staying to fight Amon, even tho in her eyes she probably would have stood a pretty good chance against him. Mako's overprotectiveness of Korra was sweet, but still pretty tactless. Like cmon man, Asami's literally right there.

Great point you guys touch on in terms of power scaling. This is one of the complaints people have towards this series. My insight as to why Lin and Tenzin keep getting washed every time is due to the storyline and also that they are probably late 30’s so they’re not in their prime technically.

I think power scaling is hard to judge in the Avatar universe. So many variables and different skills. BloodBending is really OP, not sure why they was really confused why it wasn't. Reason why its so rare. Hama, Katara, Tarrlock, Yakone. Thats 4 in probably the last 100 plus years or so? We’ve only seen the truly elite resist or break blood bending. Katara(during a full moon) and Aang (avatar state). Amon as well but we dont really know much about him at this point. That should tell you that its hard to fight against even if you’re a great bender as Lin and Tenzin. Also to add to your point, it’s been probably peaceful for the last 70 years? Tenzin hasn’t had to fight anyone that we know, just training. Sure Lin is in the police force but who is she realistically fighting? Petty criminals and gangsters? Not much of a challenge.

The mad thing is they've kinda changed or help facilitate a change of mind for me too - I enjoyed Korra when I og saw it, but as a whole was mixed. But I'm really enjoying it especially through S&P!

I'm sure they'll get used to it but I'm expecting slight dissapointment from the guys that the overall series is disjointed season to season and doesn't have an overarching sl or narrative like ATLA

Just an idea, you guys could react to The Dragon Prince after Korra, it's made by one of the creators of ATLA and the main character is even voiced by Sokka's voice actor. I know I'm getting ahead of myself though

If you go to the top of their patreon homepage you will see a bunch of boxes with names like "game of thrones" "game of thrones full/uncut" stuff like that. if you go the the one farther on the right you can open it and it will have all the other tags. Click on the one that says legend of korra uncut and it will only show you the posts with the legend of korra uncut videos so its easy to see them all.

Spartan you’re just in season 1…please be more patient. The GAANG formed in the midst of an 100 year war. They had to grow up quick. Korra is showing a team that grew in peace and never had to face anything the previous crew had to at that age. I promise the stakes get higher and the team hones in on their skills to deal with said stakes.
