Omg!! Welcome to the potterverse 🤩

Boaty Zooka

Awesome!! Yes!! Hope your B-day went well. I have to ask. Can we expect an uncut of these films as well

ADHDubz

they have already released the first uncut version so i assume theyll do the rest uncut as well. They posted it about a week ago. Hoping the second uncut will be posted today as well lol.

imperial

This is the US theatrical version by the way in case anyone needs to know. “Sorcerer’s Stone”. This is not the “Philosopher’s Stone” version. I don’t know if there’s a time stamp difference between the two versions, but I do know that every time an actor says “Philosopher” it is replaced with “sorcerer” in this version.

Chad-gon Targaryen

No franchise other than Star Wars was as prevalent and mainstream as Harry Potter was. Marvel only really started to hit their stride after the Potter movies ended.

Absolutely love watching your reactions! Thank you so much for understanding that this first movie was world building and not being disappointed by its lack of “excitement”. I LOVE the series, but this movie is a sweet, magical, fun introduction to the world that is also the weakest of the films. In fact, I had access to your uncut reaction awhile ago, but really didn’t want to sit through this whole movie with you, so I waited for the cut reaction…haha! I definitely will be watching full length for future installments….because these movies just get exponentially better. The next movie also feels a bit young, but ramps up quite a bit. By the third movie, we’re cooking with gas and it’s fire from then on. You already had so many great insights. Love how thoughtful you always are with reactions. To answer your question: Spartan, you couldn’t be more Gryffindor if you tried. Pudgy, I’m leaning Ravenclaw. Could also be Hufflepuff, because you are so empathetic, but I think Ravenclaw. You’ll definitely need to visit Pottermore after you finish the series be create a video of both of you being sorted for your houses, being chosen by your wands, and then finding your (spoiler😉). The site is so cool and makes the experience….magical. Thanks again! Loving that you’re reacting to Breaking Bad and Potter at the same time. Two of my all time favorite media series. I’m in heaven seeing so much fun content from such great reactors!

Harrys foster parents in the beginning: Not going to spoil anything, but as you get to the later movies, you understand their motive behind the treatment of harry, naturally of course the treatment is unacceptable, however theres a few small scenes that explain it - Absolutely love the potter films so im excited to watch again alongside you, after you see some of the scenes I can then obviously say more :D

Robert L

Come on Spartan we all know you're going to Slytherin lol

Dino Topčagić

Spartan you're right, I totally see you in Gryffindor, and Pudgey in Hufflepuff. So happy to watch these again, after so many years!

Alvin Tsao

Spartan = Gryffindor, Pudgey maybe....Ravenclaw?

Jacob Hatfield

Spartan Gryffindor and Pudgey Hufflepuff!

MamaSeesa

Yes, that is Walder Frey (David Bradley). Look that actor up and see his younger pictures, he looks completely different! But no, not Gandalf (Sir Ian McKellen). This Dumbledore was played by Richard Harris. He sadly passed away and had to be replaced by Michael Gambon after the the second Harry Potter movie. I think they both did a great job playing Dumbledore.

DominaZeta

Spartan is definitely a Gryffindor and Pudgey is either Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw. I'm Ravenclaw for sure. And, yes, that is the same actor who was Walder Frey in GoT playing caretaker Filch here when he was a bit younger. There are several other actors from GoT who were in the Harry Potter movies too... let's see if you spot them! ;)

spartanandpudgey

we watched it on Australian Netflix which is called "Philosopher's stone" both by title and in the actual movie that we watched

Natalie-Anne

Pudgey is a fellow Ravenclaw like myself for sure! And Spartan is Gryffindor!

Chris

I did extra work in this as a kid, so was a Hogwarts student in the quidditch crowd and great halls. Can I now say you’ve reacted to me? 😄

Zakk

So stoked for this journey! I've already watched the uncut version twice

Ricky

I was never a big fan of these movies and was mostly on the LotR fanbase 😆 but I've grown to like these movies. They're really fun stories and have a lot heart. Can't wait for you guys to react to the rest.

Reilly halsted

Spartans IQ was on 5000 this movie. Noticing the scenes with snape and Quirrell and then calling out the mirror showing what someone desires most

Reilly halsted

Something that is only explained in the books is that Harry’s Aunt, wanted to go to Hogwarts when she was younger and found out her sister was magic. She ever wrote letters to Dumbledore asking to go, but because she wasn’t a witch, she couldn’t. Their parents favored Lilly more so Petunia despised the magic world and in turn spoiled Dudley while loathing Harry

Alex Pearson

Definitely Gryffindor for Spartan, but I think Pudgey is Ravenclaw. You should check out the quiz on the Pottermore website and make a video on it. Would be really cool!! Also order yourselves some Bertie Botts Every Flavor Bean. They are a real thing and a cool thing to experience for the first time

Sean Carroll

yeah by the end of this you will both be in love with it and purdgey will cry many times

SleeplessCSGO

really enjoyed that reaction, right lenght, good choice of scenes and engaging commentary, keep it up <3

AC10

Oh My God!!! I can't believe you haven't seen this... Just heard on your live stream and came here INSTANTLY! I'm so excited. Welcome to the 1st story that changed my life. 1st real book series I ever read without being forced to lol. I hope you enjoy.... And maybe you will or have played the new Hogwarts Legacy game after??? It's amazing too.

AC10

This is my Star Wars... only because Star Wars is just so much older.

AC10

Yep... The books were written as personal stories for the authors kids. So this part of the story was safe for young children.... Don't you worry.... They get Real adult real fast. I'm much older now and I still rewatch this series every year.

AC10

Agree about the quizzes. That's like a requirement for reactors... and all fans really. It's fun.

AC10

This is just amazing. I wish I had a story like this.

AC10

Have you read the books??? I'm not a big book person. Not at all. But OMG these books are freekin amazing. There is 10 times the story in them. So much more detail.... which is shocking because I believe these movies have more detail than most books usually do.

neutchain

I can't think of anything other than Griffyndor for Spartan and for Pudgey it has to be Ravenclaw. This is very much the weakest of the movies ( im not saying its bad ) they will get significantly better as the characters are growing up the story will get really dark. I watched the last four in the cinemas and I remember little kids wholesale running out of the theater screaming lol. What is constant though is good writing and a lot of heart. I really enjoy this universe J.K.Rowling had to be on drugs the whole time writing this, its so detailed and interesting all the way through. Can't wait to see you guys taking this journey, it'll be fun for us as usual I am sure! :)

Kelsey

the first movie wasn't my favorite, but they get better over time. It's hard for me because the book series was EVERYTHING for my childhood. My 2nd grade teacher would read it to us during break times and we would ask her to come inside early from recess because we wanted to keep reading so badly I hated reading but I worked hard to get better so I could read the series on my own

TheScarfIsPurple

No WAY Spartan immidietly caught the "Keith Syndrome" from AoT😂😂

Raphael Aguiar

Just answering to Spartan The wizarding world is the same world as ours. There are some hidden places that can only be accessed by wizards and witches. Hogwarts is in the muggle world, but as it says in the books, the castle is enchanted with special magic so if any muggle get close to it they will only see a big castle ruins so destroyed they gave up to try to enter it.

Valcor

"If everyone's watching it, I'm not watching it" God I can't describe how much i hate that attitude. It's like people like to just ignore good shows just to be different.

Valcor

I honestly think by the end of the series you will love it. Will predict it will be in your top 5 movie series of all time. (Not out of all movies but compared to other long running series).

Valcor

Spartan is on a roll with the predictions which is rare. Not just the Snape part but I don't want to spoiler what he got right.

Valcor

I think Pudgey would be Ravenclaw and Spartan Gryffindor. Also Hermione is definitely Pudgey lol...

Valcor

The actor for Gandalf actually was offered the role for Dumbledore. Alot of people think they look similar aswell.

Andy

Harry's parents were able to leave Harry all of that gold due to the crystal meth they cooked before they died.

Malorie

We need bonus content of you guys doing the wizardingworld.com (formerly pottermore) quiz and another video where you try the Bertie Botts Every Flavor Beans

Shannon Bey

Hey hey hey Mr. Longbottom, you put respect on that name.

The houses and what they represent: Gryffindor - Bravery, chivalry, honor, helping others, determination, recklessness, self-righteousness, short tempered and a desire to always be the hero. Someone who likes to stand up for the little guy, challenges authority, and has a tendency to act first & think later. Hufflepuff - Hard work, patience, loyalty, modesty dedication, kindness and fairness. Someone who has a strong moral compass, is usually accepting of everyone and rarely starts arguments. (I am a proud Hufflepuff). Ravenclaw - Intelligence, wisdom, knowledge, creativity, originality and wit. Someone who is academically motivated, logical, curious, eccentric, and accepting of people & things that others would consider 'weird'. Slytherin - Ambition, cleverness, cunningness, resourcefulness, pride and self-preservation. Someone who is always one step ahead, has a dark sense of humour, thinks reputation is important, doesn’t let anyone see their soft side and is possibly destined for greatness. While it is true that a lot of dark witches and wizards have been in Slytherin, not all of them are bad. I suggest taking the Sorting Hat Quiz on wizardingworld.com (formerly Pottermore). Chris Columbus wanted Daniel Radcliffe for the role of Harry since he saw him in BBC's production of David Copperfield, which he starred in with some of his future co-stars in Harry Potter, like Dame Maggie Smith (McGonagall) and Zoë Wanamaker (Madame Hooch). J.K. Rowling approved of his casting and said they couldn't have found a better Harry. Having seen an ad for open casting, Rupert Grint sent in a video of himself rapping about how much he wanted the part of Ron, and was successful. Emma Watson's Oxford theatre teacher passed her name on to the casting agents and she had to do over 5 interviews before she got the part of Hermione. Richard Harris only agreed to the part of Dumbledore after his 11 year old granddaughter threatened never to speak to him again. Tom Felton originally auditioned for Harry and Ron before getting the part of Draco. Robin Williams and Rosie O'Donnell asked to play the roles of Molly Weasley and Rubeus Hagrid respectively, without pay, but were turned down because J.K. Rowling wanted only British and Irish actors in the films. Rowling hand picked Robbie Coltrane, Dame Maggie Smith and Alan Rickman for their roles. Several minor characters were removed from the films, most prominently Peeves the poltergeist. Actor Rik Mayall was cast in the role but his scenes were ultimately cut and never released. J.K. Rowling has stated that the "t" in "Voldemort" is meant to be silent, like in "mort", the French word for death. Voldemort literally means "flight from death". Interesting fact: Daniel Radcliffe, who's eyes are blue, was initially meant to wear green contact lenses to match Harry's eye colour as well as his mother's, but the lenses gave him an allergic reaction so after consultation with Rowling, it was agreed that Harry could have blue eyes. However, he does have them in the last scene which was actually the first one that was filmed, and his green eyes are clearly visible in close-ups. In contrast, Ron has blue eyes in the book but Rupert Grint has green eyes.

Sorry to bother you, but is it working for you. Because nothing on here is playing for me.

Spartan Griffindor Pudgy either Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw
