I lived in Albuquerque for about 6 years. Great place. El Paso is about a 3 - 4 hr drive, longer if weather and traffic is a problem. The show sometimes makes it seem like they are in Abq. and a couple of minutes later they are in El Paso. It is a bit of a distance though.
