In the manga zeff eats hes leg just like in this show but in the anime he loses to save sanji when the ship sinks. Great reaction! Love this channel

It wasn't that bad a little oregano on that leg I'm sure Zeff enjoyed it

Since Pudgey already pointed out that Luffy and Sanji have similar dreams and similar relationships with their „foster fathers“ - now, knowing Sanjis backstory, there‘s another similarity. Both Shanks and Zeff lost a limb protecting Luffy and Sanji.

They have answered what happened to Gold D. Roger and why he did what he did. It isn't answered until around episodes 900 - 1000. He has a terminal illness and decides to not suffer with a swift death and pass on his legend, kinghood, and dreams. Who ever can find, claim, and hold onto the One Piece, deserves it.

Anime censored the leg eating aspect, glad the Live Action followed the manga!

Second half of the season is definitely better than the first half. I've seen a lot of reactions to this now and over time the first 4 have become a bit harder to rewatch. Thanks for the reactions yo :D

Did they? Maybe in the dub but I feel like I definitely remember it in the sub

Love that you guys are already emotionally connecting to the story and characters. Imagine if you didn’t start watching like all of the poll voters chose 😂 you wouldn’t know what you’re missing out on

70+ days without eating a thing? Cmon brother it’s right there….he ate his own leg 😂

Casey

If you watch the anime. Maybe you can ask fans what are some good episodes to react too and just record those ones 😊. There’s also a new one development that might make it easier in the future 👀

In the anime Zeff looses his leg trying to save Sanji who is drowning, but in the original story, in the manga, Zeff eats his leg. The anime was censored and I’m glad they came back to the original for that, so so much more powerful.
